Since the OPRC-HNS Protocol entered into forced in the June of 2007, the potential effects on industrial circles are encouraged to be analyzed according to the obligatory regulations listed in the Protocols. This study was conducted on the quantitative analysis of the possible effect on the industrial circles if Korea accedes to OPRC-HNS Protocol. In spite of any burdens caused by keeping "accident emergency program memorandum" and performing "education and any training program for the crews", potential decrease of insurance fee is in possibility provided it follows. In addition, the oil refinery and petrochemical industries may also have burdens for potential costs for acquiring any materials including equipments and fees for education and training related to HNS. However, minimizing any costs by swift response against accidents would be big advantage that comes with paying of small amounts of expense by international convention related to HNS.

The railway is an important industry which quickly, safely and accurately transports a great deal of people and goods compared to other methods of transportation. Because there is not enough manpower in this field, professional engineers are urgently demanded. Although there are many people who apply for the professional engineer examination, they do not know how and what to prepare for it. This paper has analyzed the pattern of questions in the examination for the last fifteen years and the tends of the examination and the subjects which have been taught in the railway related educational institutions for the last five years. It suggests the compulsory subjects for the qualification and an easy way to get it for those who prepare the examination for the based on this analysis.

A recent trend of 'Smart Technology' has changed the simple and normal car into smart vehicle. Smart vehicle has a complex aspects of technologies and Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment (WAVE) is the technology that is mentioned for the communication infrastructure of Smart Vehicle. The current status about WAVE in Korea, however, is not good to be used in smart vehicular communication. The reason for that is that the frequency band for WAVE is not assigned or allocated in Korea. In this paper, we will explore the current status of technology standard for WAVE and investigate the way of frequency allocation for WAVE with the survey analysis from the smart vehicle industry.

This study investigated what the general public thinks about the shipping industry and how important it is. As a result of the study, more than half of the respondents answered that they knew a little about the shipping industry or that they were normally knew about the shipping industry. Regarding the necessity of budget input to prevent bankruptcy of national shipping companies, it was found that more than half of the respondents answered that it was necessary or moderate. Regarding the necessity of maintaining a national shipping companies, 53% of respondents said it was necessary, and 23% of respondetns said it was normal. However, when asked if they thought that maintaining a national shipping companies would benefit me and my family, 39% of respondetns answered "normal" and 28% of respondetns answered "mostly". As for the cause of Hanjin Shipping's bankruptcy, 49% of respondents said that the owners' family members were immoral and incompetent, and 17.4% of respondetns said that the shipping market conditions deteriorated. Regarding the necessity of fostering the shipping industry, foreign currency acquisition and service balance improvement through export of shipping services accounted for 43.5%, and smooth transportation of import and export cargo accounted for 36.5%. When asked what kind of damage I suffered from Hajin Shipping's bankruptcy, 54.6% answered other (not much), and 14.5% said inflation. Abouve these results, this study gave implication in terms of public promotion and transparent business management.

Due to COVID 19, we are facing unprecedented phenomena. Among various industries, the aviation industry, as it is directly affected by the corona crisis is actively establishing various survival strategies, such as expanding cargo transportation. The market size of air cargo transportation is continuously increasing due to the characteristics that distinguish it from other transportation, and as individualism and selfishness deepen in the aftermath of COVID 19, it can be inferred that the concept of reciprocity within distribution channels will become important in the post-corona era. The specific contents of this study(research question) are as follows. First, as a central member of the air logistics distribution channel, logistics service companies business process and the sub-dimensions of trust of are identified, and how trust is built with transportation companies is investigated. Second, the effect of such trust on the various performances of logistics service companies is analyzed. Third, we examine whether the influences of the sub-dimensions of trust change according to the perceived reciprocity of logistics service companies. In addition, we investigate whether the perceived reciprocity changed before and after the corona situation. In particular, this study theoretically integrates the concepts of trust and commitment, which have been distinguished in many prior studies, to improve the parsimony and practicality of the research model. This study will be able to present useful academic and practical implications by empirically examining how trust is built between members of the air logistics distribution channel and furthermore, how much it affects the performance of logistics service companies, and by identifying the moderating effect of reciprocity.

As the price competition between airlines became increasingly intensified, due to increased participation of low-cost carriers in the air transport industry and the continued deregulation of international air transport, each airline has introduced various management techniques for securing international competitiveness and operational efficiency in order to cope with the uncertainty in air transport industry. The world leading LCCs, such as Ryan air, easyJet and Southwest, have changed their traditional business models by increasing operation to primary airports, diversifying operating routes, making strategic alliances with FSCs or other LCCs, increasing the operations on the mid or long distance routes, expanding ancillary revenues, etc. As Korea's air transport industry is confronting with intense competition, our LCCs are requested to adjust to this new challenging situation. As the world leading LCCs did, Korean LCCs are recommended to adopt new business models such as restructuring of the air transport industry through M&A, operating more flexibly in terms of frequency or route, launching of services to primary airports, making strategic alliances with foreign FSCs, developing of 4th or 6th traffic demands, etc.

Airports and civil aviation authorities have recently utilized and expanded the use of biometric technologies to respond proactively against the rapid changes in aviation terrorism due to scientific development. The Global Security Plan (GASeP) developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is regarded as precondition for sustainable development of the global air transport industry. Thus GASeP has sought to improve aviation security system using biometic technologies. The purpose of this paper is to realize the equivalent access of aviation security system throughout the world with biometric technologies. First, this paper reviewed the current biometric-security system operated by the EU, USA and international society. Second, legal and institutional processes regarding personal biometric information were analyzed to suggest political implications. This paper concluded that ICAO should propose a global standardization and prepare guideline materials among its 193 member states to prevent aviation security breaches and to share related information on a real-time basis because time is required to utilize biometric technology to improve aviation safety and to develop global air transport.

This study analyzes how the environmental-friendly logistics activities impact on both environmental performance which is the result of sustainable development and business performance which is one of basic achievement of commercial company. It has been researched especially focusing on manufacturing-based company. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, it has been proven that environment-friendly storage and cargo handling, management and policy factors significantly affect environmental performance. And environment-friendly production, management, policy factors significantly affect the company's business performance.

The current development trend and status of a personal air vehicle, known as the novel concept of a transportation that combines a personal car with a light general aviation aircraft, is summarized to investigate its feasibility as a future transportation. In the paper, the development programs of a personal air vehicle such as AGATE, PAVE, SATS and NGATS are first summarized, and then the design, technical development and testing activities of Terrafugia's Transition and Moller International's M400 Skycar, which will be commercialized in a short time, are reviewed. Based on the assessment of technical issues with those vehicles, the key technologies for the future development of the personal air vehicle are suggested with two basic requirements of safety and mobility.

As delivery services market has grown the damage cases are also continuously increased. When using delivery services, Customers would not be compensated in any way. Perhaps worse, losing a cargo would create a great deal of trouble. Because the lack of evidence, they takes a lot of time to clarify who is responsible. To prevent these things, we must create, collect, maintain and confirm. In this paper, we introduce new delivery system with a trusted third party for non-repudiation services. Moreover, in damage case, we show that the proposed system is efficient and provide non-repudiation. Using sending and receiving codes, the proposed system identifies a responsible subject with quickness and clearness.
