The Structural Characteristics of Non-slip Device in Connecting Method Between Steel Pipe Pile and Footing (미끌림 방지턱을 이용한 강관말뚝 머리 결합부의 구조특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • To find the structural characteristics of non-slip device in connecting method B between steel pipe pile and concrete footing, compression and uplift test was performed for full sized specimens not having non-slip device, those having non-slip device with two curved steel plate bars welded inside the steel pipe pile(standard method), and those having non-slip device with serveral curved steel plate bars bolted inside the steel pipe pile(new method). As a result, specimens not having non-slip device had chemical debonding failure at 15.6tonf of peak uplift load and 27.57tonf of peak compression load. And the standard method and the new method showed about 8.9 times of peak uplift load and 6.2 times of peak compression load higher than specimens not having non-slip device. The load transfers of lower non-slip devices of the standard method and the new method were similar in behavior, while the higher non-slip device of the new method showed higher ratio of load transfer than that of the standard method. And these two methods had nearly the same composite action and structural capacity caused by non-slip devices.

  • 개요- 반도체 시장의 확대 및 소자의 고집적화와 장비의 초정밀화 등 고정도 생산성을 요구하는 현대 진공산업 시장에서는 정밀한 제품을 대량으로 생산할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있는 대용량 장비의 수요가 급증하고 있다. 서론- 하루가 다르게 발전하는 기술 경쟁 사회에서는 보다 성능이 좋은 제품을 다른 국가 또는 다른 업체와 차별화된 기술적 우위를 선점해야 한다. 본문-이에따라, 고신뢰도, 고생산성이 요구되는 진공산업 시장에 발맞추기 위한 일환으로 크라이오 펌프의 재생시간을 단축시켜 생산성 향상을 높이고, 기존의 제품에서 소비자가 느꼈던 진동을 최소로 줄일 수 있도록 저진동 제품의 설계를 통한 고객 만족의 제품을 개발함과 동시에, 맥동관 냉동기의 기술상업화를 꾀한 극저온기술 영역의 발전을 함께 도모하고자 한다. 현재까지는 국내의 일부 정부출연 연구소와 학교, 일부 특수산업 분야에서만 크라이오 펌프를 사용하고 있으나, 상업적인 설계 및 생산은 완전히 전무한 상태이다. 이는 진공시장의 잠재적인 성장을 고려할 때 국산화가 시급한 상황이다. 이러한, 상황을 고려하여 현재 기계연구원과 우성진공, 국민대학교가 맥동관 냉동기를 접목시킨 급속재생형 저진동 크라이오 펌프를 지난 2008년부터 산학연 협동으로 개발 진행 중에 있다. 크라이오 펌프의 핵심 기술은 냉동기의 효율에 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 이러한 냉동기의 효과를 높이기 위하여, 제작 공정에 진공 브레이징을 사용하여, 열교환기와 교환기 내의 충진재들과의 정확한 간극을 유지하면서 접합을 할 수 있는 환경요건을 지속적인 실험을 통해 지식을 습득하고 있다. 진공 브레이징은 외관을 아름답고 정교하게 접합할 수 있으므로, 추후 상품으로의 가치를 높일 수 있으며, 서로 다른 이종금속 간의 접합이 가능하여 열교환기의 무산소동과 스테인레스 튜브와의 접합을 가능하게 할 수 있었다. 진공브레이징에 쓰이는 모재는 여러가지가 있으며, 접합의 환경 또한 일반 용접보다 다양하므로 여러번의 실험을 통한다면, 성능은 우수하면서 외관으로 손색이 없는 개발품이 나올수 있겠다는 의견이 모아지고 있는 중이다. 본론- 아직까지는 미국의 CTI사나 일본의 ULVAC 등의 크라이오 펌프의 선진 기업에 비해 기술력이 많이 부족하기는 하지만, 아직 많은 부분이 미개발된 분야이고, 향후 후발국과의 차별을 두어 선진기술을 확보하기 위해서는 기존의 방식을 단순히 따라하는 것이 아닌 남들과 다른 원천기술의 확보가 더 필요하며, 이를 위해 부단한 노력과 시행착오를 거쳐 맥동관 냉동기형 크라이오 펌프라는 기술을 확보할 예정이다.

Flexural Capacity of the Encased(Slim Floor) Composite Beams with Web Openings -Deep Deck Plate and Asymmetric Steel Beam to be Welded Cover Plate- (매립형 (슬림플로어) 유공 합성보의 휨성능 평가 -춤이 깊은 데크플레이트와 비대칭 H형강 철골보-)

  • This paper presents an experimental study on the flexural capacity of an encased(slim-floor) composite beam, which is a wider plate under bottom flange of H-beam with web openings. Five simple full-scale bending tests were conducted on the encased(slim-floor) composite beams at varying steel beam heights (250mm and 300mm), positions of web openings, and loading conditions. The test results revealed that the web-open encased composite beam had sufficient composite action, without any additional shear connection devices, because of the inherent shear-bond effects between the steel beam and the concrete, and a stable structural performance without web-opening reinforcements.

  • The existing underground trenchless methods use reinforcing rod in steel tube to obtain structural stiffness. However, there are some problems such as inconvenience of work and expensive material fee which are resulted from limited working space and reinforcing work. To resolve these problems, a new trenchless method, namely P.S.T method (Prestressed Segment Tunnel Method), is developed which uses joint to connect the steel segment and form erection structure in underground construction. Further, installing strands for prestressing. In order to evaluate the flexural capacity of the P.S.T method structure, experiment was conducted. The parameters considered in the experiment are the span-to-depth ratio, diameter of steel tube at corner, prestressing force and welding of joint. Altogether examining the flexural behavior, the effect of deflection in structure according to different parameters has also been analysised.

  • 볼트, 너트 등의 파스너는 건축 재료나 기계부품을 고정하는 데 사용하는 기계요소로, 건축, 철도, 조선 등 전 산업분야에 걸쳐 사용되고 있다. 그 중 스테인리스 소재의 볼트, 너트는 뛰어난 내식성과 저렴한 가격으로 널리 사용되고 있는데, 소재의 특성 및 작업현장의 상황, 온도의 변화 등의 원인에 의해 고착현상(galling)이 발생한다. 고착현상이란 성분 혹은 표면경도가 비슷한 금속의 나사산을 조이는 과정에서 발생하는 압력의 증가 및 마찰력에 의해 냉간 용접(cold welding)이 일어나는 것으로 나사산의 표면이 눌어붙게 된다. 이러한 고착현상은 스테인리스 소재에서 많이 발생하는데, 한번 발생한 후에는 비파괴 해소가 불가능한 상태가 되어 경제적 손실을 야기한다. 이러한 고착현상의 해소를 위해 본 연구에서는 주석과 알루미늄을 사용한 새로운 열 확산 코팅 기술을 개발하고 이를 304 스테인리스강에 적용하여 열처리 온도에 따른 특성변화를 확인하였다. 열 확산 코팅을 위해 팩 세멘테이션 방법을 이용하여 아르곤 분위기 하에서 열처리 하였고, 온도는 $200{\sim}250^{\circ}C$에서 코팅을 수행하였다. 이에 따른 코팅 전과 후의 표면 및 단면 분석을 통해 성공적으로 코팅층이 형성됨을 확인하였고, 온도가 증가함에 따라 코팅성분의 양이 증가하는 현상을 보임을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 고착방지성능을 확인하기 위하여 ASTM G196-08 시험을 통해 코팅조건에 따른 고착현상을 분석하였으며, 그 결과 기존에 코팅되지 않은 304 스테인리스강보다 고착현상이 개선됨을 확인하였다. 따라서 304 스테인리스강 소재의 볼트, 너트 제품에 주석-알루미늄 코팅층을 적용시키면 기존의 고착현상을 개선하고 서비스 품질을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Tensile properties and Spot Weldability of Trip High Strength Steel Sheet (Trip형 고장력강판의 인장성질 및 점용접성)

  • The effects of retained austenite and carbon content in the retained austenite on the tensile strength-elongation balance and spot weldability of TRIP high strength steel sheet have been investigated. The retained austenite of granular type increased with increasing intercritical annealing and austempering temperature, and film type was increased with the increase of austempering time. The volume fraction of retained austenite increased with decreasing intereritical annealing temperature, and the maximum value was obtained at austempering temperature of $400^{\circ}C$. The values of tensile strength-elongation balance increased with decreasing intercritical annealing temperature and maximum value was obtained at austempering temperature of $400^{\circ}C$. The maximum value of tensile strength-elongation balance was obtained at a retained austenite content of about 12%. Tensile shear strength of the specimens with retained austenite was higher than that of the normalizing specimens. With increasing welding current and time, the tensile shear strengh and nugget diameter increased, while nugget thickness showed the peak value and then decreased. The optimum range of welding condition at the given welding pressure of 350kgf was 7~11kA and 10~15 cycles.

Bending Fatigue Life Assessment of Aged CWR using the Field Test (현장측정을 통한 노후레일의 휨 피로수명 평가)

  • As a result of recent research, it is reported that the periodic replacements criterion of rails is able to extend as grinding rail surface and using the continuous welded rail (CWR). This study evaluated correlation between conditions of track and load capacity of rail by analysing the dynamic response of track while the metro train is running. Also, it was converted the measured stress waveform into stress frequency histogram by the rain-flow counting methods, and then accumulated fatigue damage ratio and remaining service life of laid rail were calculated so as the apply the equivalence of stress to S-N curve of a new welded rail. Finally, this study suggests a revision of the periodic replacements criterion of CWR, which was based on accumulated passing tonnage, classified by the types and conditions of track system.

  • Recently, the trend of construction has been concentrated on the development of structural systems improved economically. As a result, the usage of High Performance Steel which simplifies the girder structures and shortens the construction time is increasing. Also the interest in Longitudinally Profiled(LP) plate as a structural element for girders has been increased. The LP can distribute efficiently the sectional force applied to the structure, and also reduce the self-weight and the number of welding points. The LP plate was developed in Europe originally and its application has been increased rapidly on steel structures in Korea. Though it is used widely and internationally, the study for the LP plate application is rarely performed. In this paper, sectional stress and deflections were analyzed in the different section types by solid element in the finite element method; finally the workability, as well as economical efficiency of the LP plate produced in Korea was evaluated.

Study of Structural Stability for H-section Beams Made of Fire Resistant Steels (FR 490) at High Temperatures by Analytical Method (건축용 내화강재(FR 490) 적용 H형강 보부재의 고온내력 연구)

  • When structural elements of steel framed structures are exposed to fire situations, the structural stability begins to decrease due to dislocation of substantial. The increase of the beam length causes an additional stress and deflection. These can be serious factors to cause a severe failure of structures. To improve the fire resistance of beams, prevention of the heat from a fire by coating with fire protection material is essential for beams. The FR 490 was developed to enhance fire resistance compared with SM 490 steel. However, the fire resistance of FR 490 H-beams has not been evaluated by analysis method since it was developed. In this paper, materials properties in high temperature and a heat transfer and thermal stress theory were used in the evaluation of the fire resistance of FR490 H-beams. The fire resistance of FR490 steel beams was compared with that of SM490 beams. The comparison verified that the structural stability of FR490 beams at high temperature was superior to that of SM490 beams.

Flexural Behaviour of Encased Composite Beam with Precast Hollow Core Slabs and Channels (속빈 PC 슬래브와 채널을 사용한 매입형 합성보의 휨 거동)

  • This paper deals with the experimental analysis of the flexural behaviour of encased composite beams with hollow core slabs and channels. The shear force between steel beams and hollow core slabs are transferred by channels. Three full-scale specimens were constructed and tested with different steel beam heights, which were compared with those of previous studies. Based on observation of the experiments, the encased composite beams exhibited full shear connection behaviour without any other shear connectors due to their inherent mechanical and chemical bond stress. Experimental results show a behaviour similar to steel-concrete composite beams with classical connectors: elastic and yield domains, great ductility, flexural failure mode (plastic hinge), low relative movement at steel-concrete interface and all specimens failed in a very ductile manner. Consequently, this study enables the validation of the proposed connection device under static loading and shows that it meets modern structural requirements.
