Analysis of Risk Classification on the Urban Flood Damage in Changwon city (창원시 용도지역별 침수 피해에 따른 위험등급화 분석)

  • This study aims to effectively respond to urban local rainstorms by classifying the risk against flood damage for each use district. The risk classification is based on sensitivity analysis of the socio-economic damage caused by local rainstorms in Changwon city, Korea by a Fuzzy model using data, such as the districts that provide institutional bases for land use, land prices, which estimate the property values, and floor area ratios, which measures the density and areas of flood damage. The analysis result indicated that flood damage in five districts of Changwon (Masan happo-gu, Masan Hoewon-gu, Sungsan-gu, Euichang-gu, and Jinhae-gu) is highest in the order of commercial areas, residential areas, industrial areas, and forests, which was attributed to high land price and floor area ratio of commercial areas. On the other hand, specific analysis in Masan Hoewon-gu and Sungsan-gu was different from the previous result, indicating that the risk against flood damage may vary according to the districts depending on their local conditions. The analysis from this study can be applied to future urban planning and be used as a guideline to estimate the potential flood damage. Overall, this study is meaningful in that it proposes an effective management of land use as a new resolution to mitigate of urban flood damage within a broader perspective of climate change and urbanization.

Analysis of Determinants on Residential Resettlement in Accordance with Urban Regeneration (도시재생에 따른 주거재정착 결정요인 분석)

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the evaluations and determinants on residential resettlements in accordance with urban regeneration by 7,396 samples from 19 housing redevelopment districts in Busan. The major finding on determinants on residential resettlements in accordance with urban regeneration are as follows; A binary logit model for determinants on residential resettlements in accordance with urban regeneration are composed of owner's characteristics, land and building characteristics, housing complex characteristics, and location characteristics. The significant variables in relation to owner's characteristics are owner's age, owner's place of residence, the possession period against property and investment intention. As a result of logit model for residential resettlements, it shows that the variables in relation to land and building characteristics are the land classification, the use of building, the size of land or building, the permission of building and the appraisal price on land and building. This result means that actual customer's investment connects to resettlement after redevelopment project. The other side, the housing complex variables consist of the brand of construction company, the ratio of large size housing and floor are ratio shows that improvable conditions for housing value are important factor to induce residence's resettlement. The location variables show that Dongbusan has higher probability, the reverse Jungbusan has lower probability in residential resettlement likewise residential preference.

Evaluation of Flood Events Considering Correlation between Flood Event Attributes (홍수사상 요소의 상관성을 고려한 홍수사상의 평가)

  • A flood event can be characterized by three attributes such as peak discharge, total flood volume, and flood duration, which are correlated each other. However, the amount of peak discharge is only used to evaluate the flood events for the hydrological plan and design. The univariate analysis has a limitation in describing the complex probability behavior of flood events. Thus, the univariate analysis cannot derive satisfying results in flood frequency analysis. This study proposed bivariate flood frequency analysis methods for evaluating flood events considering correlations among attributes of flood events. Parametric distributions such as Gumbel mixed model and bivariate gamma distribution, and a non-parametric model using a bivariate kernel function were introduced in this study. A time series of annual flood events were extracted from observations of inflow to the Soyang River Dam and the Daechung Dam, respectively. The joint probability distributions and return periods were derived from the relationship between the amount of peak discharge and the total volume of flood runoff. Applicabilities of bivariate flood frequency analysis were examined by comparing the return period acquired from the proposed bivariate analyses and the conventional univariate analysis.

Estimation of the Moisture Maximizing Rate based on the Moisture Inflow Direction : A Case Study of Typhoon Rusa in Gangneung Region (수분유입방향을 고려한 강릉지역 태풍 루사의 수분최대화비 산정)

  • In this study, we estimated the PMP(Probable Maximum Precipitation) and its transition in case of the typhoon Rusa which happened the biggest damage of all typhoons in the Korea. Specially, we analysed the moisture maximizing rate under the consideration of meteorological condition based on the orographic property when it hits in Gangneung region. The PMP is calculated by the rate of the maximum persisting 12 hours 1000 hPa dew points and representative persisting 12 hours 1000 hPa dew point. The former is influenced by the moisture inflow regions. These regions are determined by the surface wind direction, 850 hPa moisture flux and streamline, which are the critically different aspects compared to that of previous study. The latter is calculated using statistics program (FARD2002) provided by NIDP(National Institute for Disaster Prevention). In this program, the dew point is calculated by reappearance period 50-year frequency analysis from 5% of the level of significant when probability distribution type is applied extreme type I (Gumbel distribution) and parameter estimation method is used the Moment method. So this study indicated for small basin$(3.76km^2)$ the difference the PMP through new method and through existing result of established storm transposition and DAD(Depth-Area-Duration). Consequently, the moisture maximizing rate is calculated in the moisture inflow regions determined by meteorological fields is higher $0.20{\sim}0.40$ range than that of previous study. And the precipitation is increased $16{\sim}31%$ when this rate is applied for calculation.

  • 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어를 위하여 비침습적으로 측정기 가능하고, 많은 건강정보를 포함하고 있는 심전도(electrocardiogram, ECG)와 광전용적맥파(photo plethysmograph, PPG)를 측정하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 배터리로 구동 가능한 초소형의 심전도 및 맥파측정 시스템의 구현을 위하여 각각의 신호를 검출 및 신호처리하기 위한 회로를 구현하였다. 그리고 계측된 심전도 및 맥파신호의 무선전송을 위하여 초저전력 무선센서네트워크 기술을 적용한 무선 생체신호 전송시스템을 구현하였다. 계측된 심전도의 R파 정점과 인체의 말초부위에서 측정한 맥파의 기준점 사이의 시간인 맥파전달시간(pulse transit time, PTT)을 분석하여 심장에서 말초부위까지 혈관의 물리적 특성을 평가함으로써 동맥경화와 같은 혈관질환의 사전모니터 링이 가능한 시스템을 구현하고자 하였다.

Analysis of multi-channel photoplethysmograph parameter by the changes of arterial characteries (동맥계 다채널 용적맥파 특징 파라미터 분석에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we implement the photoplethysmo-graphy system that have three channel pulse wave detects and one channel ECG amplifier. In order to detect the artery state, we measured the pulse waves at different positions, simultaneously. In general, arterial vascular system suffers the decrease of compliance, increase of resistance, and decrease of distensibility through aging. Therefore, we compared and analyzed variation of tile Pulse waves parameter both in time and frequency domains that is concerned with the changes of arterial characteries. And then evaluated the correlation coefficients between the parameters variation and the age group. As the result of experiment, we found that the Parameters have a significant correlation about aging.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 날로 심각해지는 흥부지역 농업용수의 수질을 개선하기 위한 기본계획을 수립하는데 있어, 기초데이터의 확충 및 현황 파악을 위하여 흥부지구 강우시 저수지내의 퇴적물 상태를 조사 하고자 하였다. 또한 조사된 자료를 바탕으로 저수지 퇴적물에 의한 내부오염 발생여부 및 저수지의 수질에 미치는 영향을 예측하고, 퇴적물에 의한 오염 방지 및 필요수량을 안정적으로 유지하기 위하여 준설여부를 검토함으로 써 흥부지역 농업용수의 수질개선방안을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 본 조사연구는 1) 저수지 내 퇴적물 추정량, 2) 퇴적물의 입도분포 및 유기물질 무기물질 분석으로 이루어졌다. 본 조사연구 결과는 퇴적물의 준설을 결정하는데 있어서 중요한 인자로 인식되는 저수지의 퇴적속도, 저수지 내 퇴적물의 용적량, 잠재적 오염물질의 함유량에 대한 연구 자료로서, 앞으로 흥부저수지를 효율적으로 관리함에 있어 중요한 근거자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 수질개선 사업의 수행 시 설계 인자로 반영 하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 맥박 측정에서 생기는 잡음들 중 많은 오류를 생기게 하는 동잡음 개선을 위하여 회로를 제안하고 설계하였다. 기존의 맥박추정 장비에서 가변저항, 광원 스위칭, 디지털 필터를 사용함으로써 정확도 향상을 위한 연구를 하였다. 손가락에서 광전용적맥파를 측정시 측정부의 광원을 2개를 사용하고, 이를 스위칭을 통해 파형을 측정을 하였다. 실험에서 PPG의 측정은 반사형 방식을 사용하고 이를 광원스위칭을 통해 신호를 받아들였다. 이를 저주파통과필터와 고주파통과필터를 사용하여 0.5~5Hz대역을 필터링 함으로써 PPG이외의 잡음을 제거하고 신호를 검출하였다. 검출된 파형을 지수가중이중필터로 필터링을 함으로써 정확성을 높였다. 이를 통하여 광원스위칭을 통한 PPG의 출력과 발광다이오드 한 개를 사용한 출력을 비교 분석을 보여줄 것이다.

월성 발전소의 삼중수소 제거를 위한 촉매복합공정 해석

  • 중수로형 원자력 발전소에서는 가동년수가 증가함에 따라 중수는 삼중수소로 오염된다. 오염된 중수의 정화에 적합한 공정으로 평가되는 기액촉매교환-화학평형 -증류공정으로 이루어진 촉매복합공정의 주요 설계변수를 설정하여, 이 변수들이 촉매탑 및 증류탑의 용적과 초저온 냉동부하에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 촉매탑은 조작선 기울기가 약 0.634, 그리고 제 1, 제 2 증류탑의 농축율 및 삼중수소 제거율을 변화시킬 때 최적 환류비 값이 각각 약 7과 4.7일 때 최적조건임을 밝혔다. 그리고 저온증류공정해석을 위하여 Fenske, Underwood, and Gilliland Equation과 Smoker Equation을 사용하여 이 두모델식의 계산값을 비교 검토한 결과 거의 유사한 설계값을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Foundamental Properties of High Strength Concrete Using Silica Fume (실리카흄을 이용한 고강도 콘크리트의 기초적 성질)

  • An experimental study of the application of Silica fume for the high strength concrete was conducted. Nine specimens with three different contents of silica fume, 0%, 10%, 20% and with three water-cement ratio 30%, 40%, 50% were tested. Results shows that 10% of silica fume and 30% of water-cement ratio has a maximum strength with 700kg/$cm^2$ of compressive strength and 64kg/$cm^2$ of splitting tensile strength and 100kg/$cm^2$ of flexural strength. Slump value of the tested samples decreases with increasing water-cement ratio and elapsed time of silica fume. Splitting tensile strength$({\sigma}_f)$ and flexural strength $({\sigma}_f)$ and static modulus of elasticity(E) can be correlated with compressive strength $({\sigma}_c)$ from a regression analysis.
