기술현황분석 - 원전 압력방출장치의 용량인증기관 현황

  • 원전발전소에 납품되는 원전용 안전밸브의 성능은 ASME나 KEPIC와 같은 기술기준코드에 따라 설정압력, 블로우다운(blowdown), 풀리프트(Full lift), 누설(leakage), 방출용량(discharge flow rate)등과 같은 특성인자로 평가된다. 그 중에서도 방출용량은 ASME SEC III NB 7000 코드에 따라 ASME 용량인증이 요구되지만, 아직 국내에는 국제적으로 공인되니 압력방출장치 용량시험기관이 부재하여 외화유출 및 국내 PRD 기술개발에 많은 어려움이 있어왔으며, 이에 따라 원전 PRD 인증기관 개발을 통하여 세계적인 인프라 구축의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. PRD 인증기관 구축은 국내 원전 핵심기자재의 고급기술 국산화에 이바지 할 수 있고, PRD 성능 및 용량시험지원을 통하여 국내 밸브기술 경쟁력 확보하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is localization of safety relief valves fur Nuclear Service through technical development with overall design, fabrication, inspection, capacity certification test and functional qualification test of safety relief valves in accordance with KEPIC MN Code(or ASME Sec.III ). The safely relief valve is the important equipment used to protect the pressure vessel, the steam generator and the other pressure facility from overpressure by discharging the operating medium when the pressure of system is reaching the design pressure of the system. But we're depending on technology of the other country up to the present time. Because we don't have our own technologies, we have been spent the great time and money on installing and repairing safety relief valve at nuclear power plant. Therefore we have to achieve the development of safety relief valves for Nuclear Service with our own technologies.

  • 전 세계적으로 송전 용량의 증대 요구에 따라 송전 시스템이 초고압화 되어 가고 있으며 환경친화성 및 여러 특성에 있어 OF(Oii filled) 케이블에 비하여 우수한 성능을 지닌 XLPE(Crosslinked Polyethylene) 케이블의 사용이 급속하게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 최근 345kV급 이상의 XLPE 케이블 시스템 개발이 해외 선진업체들에 의해 활발히 진행되고 있으며 이의 평가를 해외공인 인증기관에서 수행하여 개발된 제품의 디자인 검증 및 장기간 신뢰성을 입증하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 맞추어 LG 전선은 400kV 케이블 및 접속함의 사내 개발시험후 해외공인 인증기관인 네덜란드의 KEMA에서 IEC 62067에 따른 인증시험을 완료하여 개발된 제품의 높은 신뢰성을 인증 받았으며, 자사의 초고압 기술을 한 단계 상승시켜 세계 선진업체들과 경쟁할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is localization of safety relief valves for Nuclear Service. The safety relief valve is the important equipment used to protect the pressure vessel, the steam generator and the other pressure facility from overpressure by discharging the operating medium when the pressure of system is reaching the design pressure of the system. We developed design technology used FEM ' CFM about safety relief valve for Nuclear Service according to ASME (or KEPIC) Code and KHNP's Technical Specification. To prove validity of a design technology, actually, we manufactured and inspected and tested the sample products designed according to a developed technology. The capacity qualification test was achieved according to requirement of ASME(or KEPIC) Code by NBBI and the functional qualification test was achieved according to ASME QME-1 for operating condition in technical specification of KHNP by NLI. Therefore we have to achieve the development of safety relief valves for Nuclear Service with our own technologies.

  • The thermal design of MGSE(Mechanical Ground Support Equipment) panel is performed for thermal vacum thest of Ka-band EQM(Engineering Qualification Model) payload of communications and broadcasting satellite. The thermal environments are predicted to evaluate the performance of transponder equipments in the thermal vacum chamber. SINDA is used to verify the thermal design of the heat pipe layout. Embedded 16 heat pipes in the EQM payload developed for Ka-band trasponder equipments are designded properly. The heat fluz loaded on the external facesheet is 265W/㎡ for the hot platear function test of the traspinder equipments, and the zero heat flux for the cold plateau case. The maxium predicted heat transport capability is 2723 W-cm.

  • The KOREAN AIR - R&D Center has developed a solar array for STSAT-2 Flight Model, SaTReC-KAIST, using a fully localized technology and has verified the performance through a launch vibration test, orbit environment test and electrical performance test. The solar array will be launched at NARO Space Center by KSLV-I which is the first Korean launch vehicle, in May 2010. In this paper, a current-voltage curve that shows the power characteristics of solar arrays was derived by applying elements that affects the power performance of STSAT-2's solar arrays to the solar cell equivalent models. The result was compared to LAPSS test results, and accuracy of the solar cell equivalent model and the power performance simulation has been analyzed.

  • The amount of fuel, which affects aircraft endurance, needs to be measured accurately. This paper deals with the implementation of a fuel quantity measurement system that consists of capacitive fuel sensor, DAQ board, and Labview software. The main circuit of the implemented system for measuring fuel quantity is simulated with Pspice to identify parameters, which are related to the change of fuel quantity. After simulation, we established that Vrms changes with the variation of fuel amount. The Vrms, which is the output of fuel sensor, is transmitted to the Labview software via the DAQ board of the implemented fuel quantity measurement system. The fuel quantity is also calculated using this software. The present simulation results indicated that the accuracy of the implemented fuel quantity measurement system improved with the filter application.

  • Lithium-ion batteries providing high gravimetric energy density are rapidly replacing Ni-Cd and Ni-H2 in aerospace applications. The main advantage is the weight reduction of the battery system. Weight is a major concern in aerospace applications. Also, lithium-ion offer low thermal dissipation, high energy efficiency, and low cell cost. The Onboard battery module for KSLV-I(Korea Space Launch Vehicle) contains 80 Sony US18650 cells configured as 10 strings in parallel, with each string containing 8 series connected cells. This allows to meet voltage and capacity requirements specified for the mission. In this paper design description and specifications of lithium-ion battery developed are presented. Qualification test flow is also shown to make sure the performance in the predicted space environment. Electrical performance was simulated by dedicated program, and verified with electronic load. Lastly, the capacity was proven on real equipment load assembly.

Effects of applied biochar derived from spent oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) substrate to Soil Physico-chemical Properties and crop growth responses (느타리버섯 수확후배지 바이오차 시용이 토양 이화학성 및 작물 생육에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of soil physico-chemical properties and crop growth responses for application of biochar derived from substrate with post harvest of oyster mushroom. The biochar was produced at 450~600℃ using a top-light up draft gasifier (TLUD) production system. As a result of elemental analysis, the biochar used was C 76.2%, H 2.5%, N 3.2%, and H/C was 0.39, which met the international certification standards for biocarbons (IBI) below 0.7. The chemical properties were 10.1 for pH, 1.0% for P2O5, 1.8% for K2O, and 2.5% for CaO. The application rates of biochar were 0, 100, 200, 300, and 500 kg/10a. For cultivation of chinese cabbage and welsh onion, soil organic matter (OM), total nitrogen (T-N), total carbon (T-C), Ex.cation K contents and cation exchange capacity (CEC) in the treatments were increased compared to the no treatment. In addition, the bulk density was lowered and the porosity was increased, improving the soil physical properties in the treated soil. The growth of chinese cabbage and green onion increased with the application of biochar, but the yields of chinese cabbage and green onion did not significantly different among the treatments. Soil carbon sequestration in the treatments enhanced with increasing the amount of biochar application. It is expected to apply the biochar derived from spent oyster mushroom substrate in the eco-friendly farm soil management, improving soil physico-chemical properties.

Basic Design of 36 MTD Class Natural Gas BOG Re-Liquefaction System (36 MTD급 천연가스 BOG 재액화 플랜트 기본설계)

  • In this paper, we carried out the basic design of 36 MTD natural gas BOG re-liquefaction system to recover the generated natural gas during performance test of LNG pump and natural gas compressor. The re-liquefaction process of natural gas is designed to have 1500 kg/h of liquefaction rate with reverse Brayton refrigeration cycle. With the designed process, the variation of liquefaction rate is calculated for various inlet conditions of feed gas. From results, the liquefaction rate is more sensitive for inlet temperature than gas composition. The specifications of equipments such as gas blower, natural gas compressor, cryogenic heat exchanger and nitrogen compander are determined on the basis of the designed process. The requirement of power consumption and cooling water are also determined through the basic design.
