A digital Controller Design to Improve Steady-State characteristics (전상상태 특성을 개선한 디지털 제어기 설계)

  • The reference input is one of causes having an effect upon the steady-state error. This paper dcscribes a design method of a digital controller to remove the stcadyftate error caused by the reference input. According to the types of the reference input, new system equations to remove the reference input term from controlled system equations are derived first. And, using the optimal control theory the control law is obtained to minimize the output of the new system. Based on the state-space approach, the proposed control algo-rithm can be applied to time-invariant linear systems including the unstable systems.

  • 양돈 업계에서 돼지의 무게는 생산성 측면에서 매우 중요한 요인 중 하나이다. 탑뷰 카메라를 통해 획득된 이미지에서 돼지의 무게를 추정할 때 오차가 적고 신뢰도 있는 결과를 보이기 위해, 오차의 주요 원인인 돼지의 머리를 제거하여야 한다. 우선, 돼지의 머리를 제거하기 위해서는 귀를 탐지하여야 한다. 그러나 돼지의 자세가 바르지 못한 경우 겹침으로 인해 돼지의 귀와 머리가 구분되지 않는 경우가 발생하고, 귀 탐지 과정에서 고려해야 할 변수가 많아지므로 연산량과 수행 시간이 증가한다. 따라서 돼지의 무게 추정을 위해서 돼지의 머리를 제거할 때 돼지의 자세 판정은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 돼지의 중점으로부터 돼지의 경계선을 연결한 선분의 길이를 비교하여 돼지의 자세를 빠르게 결정하였다. 이를 통해 자세가 바른 돼지의 머리를 제거하여 돼지의 무게를 측정하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과, 7.8 ms의 수행 시간과 0.97 이상의 정확도로 돼지머리 제거를 위한 자세를 결정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Analysis of the 'Chukwookee' data using time series model (시계열 모형을 이용한 측우기 자료의 분석)

  • One of the main issues related to the precipitation amounts measured by the Korean raingage, Chukwookee, invented by King Sejong is the discontinuity in the time series around 1907 when the modern raingage was first used in Korea. To solve this discontinuity problem Wada(1971) reproduced the Chukwookee data but many authors questioned the validity of Wada's method. In this paper we analyze the precipitation amounts in Seoul from 1771 to 1994 using the intervention model and show that Wada's method results in the overestimation of the precipitation amounts. We also propose a reproduction method by considering monthly constant and including the rainfall of less then 2 mm and the snowfall which were ignored previously.

  • It is well known that the ground water level changes rapidly before and after the earthquake, and the variation of ground water level prediction is used to predict the earthquake. In this paper, we predict the ground water level in Miryang City using ANFIS algorithm for earthquake prediction. For this purpose, this paper used precipitation and temperature acquired from National Weather Service and data of underground water level from Rural Groundwater Observation Network of Korea Rural Community Corporation which is installed in Miryang city, Gyeongsangnam-do. We measure the prediction accuracy using RMSE and MAPE calculation methods. As a result of the prediction, the periodic pattern was predicted by natural factors, but the change value of ground water level was changed by other variables such as artificial factors that was not detected. To solve this problem, it is necessary to digitize the ground water level by numerically quantifying artificial variables, and to measure the precipitation and pressure according to the exact location of the observation ball measuring the ground water level.

  • In this paper, link-level performance of a OFDMA technique, which has been considered as a standard for 802.16, 802.20, 3G-LTE, WiMax, and WiBro, is evaluated for next-generation wireless communication systems. While many researches have focused on uncoded forward-link performances, this paper provides a coded performance of a reverse-link OFDMA system. Performance degradation due to time offset among reverse-link users and frequency offset during FFT process is investigated. Transmitter and receiver antenna diversity techniques are used to overcome performance degradation. Performance of a OFDMA system is compared with a CDMA system in terms of FER and throughput to emphasize the advantage of OFDMA system for a reverse-link. Finally, under given specification, Eb/No required to achieve the maximum throughput of a reverse-link is proposed considering various coded rates and antenna permutations.

A Design of Fuzzy Control System for Moving Object Tracking (이동물체 추적을 위한 퍼지제어 시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, when the moving object move to the three-dimentional space, the tracking system track the moving object using the fuzzy reasoning. The joint angle el of the manipulator rotate from $0^{\circ}\; to\; 360^{\circ}$ , and the joint angle $\theta_2$rotate from$0^{\circ}\; to\; 360^{\circ}$. The fuzzy singleton is used for fuzzification and the control rule is twenty five and the fuzzy inference method is simplified Mamdani's reasoning and the defuzzification is the SCOG(Simplified Center Of Gravity) of the fuzzy controller To measure of the performance of the designed system, the fuzzy controller is compared with the CTM(Computed Torque Method) controller at the same condition. when the disturbance torque is ON, the both of CTM and fuzzy controller tracked object without error, However, the disturbance torque changed 0.4N, the CTM controller is 10 times greater than fuzzy controller at the sum of absolute error difference. The designed system is showed it's robustness against with disturbance.

Correction method for the Variation of the Image Plane Generated by Various Symmetric Error Factors of Zoom Lenses of Digital Still Cameras and Estimation of Defect Rate Due to the Correction (디지털 카메라용 줌렌즈에서 대칭성 오차요인에 의한 상면 변화의 보정과 이에 따른 불량률 예측)

  • In the zoom lens of digital still cameras with the variation of the image plane generated by various symmetric error factors such as curvature, thickness and refractive index error of each lens surface about the optic axis, we induce a theoretical condition to fix constantly the image plane by translating the compensator group of the zoom lens by using the Gaussian bracket. We confirm the validity of this condition by using three examples of general zoom lens types with 3, 4, and 5 groups, respectively. When these error factors are randomly changed within the range of tolerance according to the Monte Carlo method, we verify that the distributions of the degree of moving of the compensator are normal distributions at three zoom lens types. From capability analysis using these results, we theoretically propose the method estimating the standard deviation, that is, sigma-level, as a function of the maximum movement of the compensator.

  • Drape is one of the factors that determine the shape of clothes and is one of the very important factors in the textile and fashion industry. At a time when non-face-to-face transactions are being activated due to the impact of the coronavirus, more and more companies are asking for drape value. However, in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), it is difficult to measure the drape, because they feel the burden of time and money for measuring the drape. Therefore, this study aimed to generate a drape image for the material property value input using a conditional adversarial neural network through 3D simulation images generated by measuring digital properties. A drape image was created through the existing 736 digital property values, and this was used for model training. Then, the drape value was calculated for the image samples obtained through the generative model. As a result of comparing the actual drape experimental value and the generated drape value, it was confirmed that the error of the peak number was 0.75, and the average error of the drape value was 7.875

  • Recently, Autonomous vehicles are getting hot attention. Amazon, the biggest online shopping service provider is developing a delivery system that uses drones. This kinds of platforms are need accurate attitude information for navigation. In this paper, a structure design of AHRS using low-cost inertia sensor is proposed. To estimate attitudes a Kalman filter which uses a quaternion based dynamic model, bias-removed measurements from MEMS Gyro, raw measurements from MEMS accelerometer and magnetometer, is designed. To remove bias from MEMS Gyro, an additional Kalman filter which uses raw Gyro measurements and attitude estimates, is designed. The performance of implemented AHRS is compared with high price off-the-shelf 3DM-GX3-25 AHRS from Microstrain. The Gyro bias was estimated within 0.0001[deg/s]. And from the estimated attitude, roll and pitch angle error is smaller than 0.2 and 0.3 degree. Yaw angle error is smaller than 6 degree.

Analysis of the Effects of the Exchange Rate Volatility on Marine and Air Transportation (환율변동성이 해상 및 항공 수출입화물에 미치는 영향)

  • In international trade, transportation generally has the largest and direct impact on freight costs. However, it is also sensitive to external factors such as global economic conditions, global trade volume and exchange rate. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the relationship and influence of international trade in terms of external factors that affect the change of imports and exports by marine and air transportation through empirical analysis. In particular, the analysis of the impact of these external factors on marine and air transportation is an important topic when recent exchange rate changes are significant, and it is also necessary to analyze what transportation means are more sensitive to exchange rate changes. In this study, we use the Vector Error Correction Model to analyze the dynamic effects of changes in exchange rate and domestic and international economic conditions on marine and air transportation from January 2000 to March 2017. Respectively. Alos, Impulse response function and variance decomposition were examined.
