Adaptive control of DC motors with periodic disturbance using signal modulation approach (Lock in Amplifier 기법을 이용한 주기적 외란을 갖는 DC 전동기의 적응제어)

  • 전동기나 발전기와 같은 회전기기에 주로 발생하는 주기외란은 시스템 성능을 저하시키는 특성으로서 고급제어시스템 구현을 위하여 반드시 보상되어야 한다. 본 논문은 신호처리기법의 일종인 Lock In Amplifier(LIA) 알고리즘 기반 외란보상 제어기를 제안한다. 제안하는 제어규칙은 공칭제어기와 보조제어기로 구성되며 전자는 외란을 고려하지 않은 시스템 모델에 대하여 상태궤환 제어기법으로 산출되며 후자는 LIA 기법을 이용하여 외란특성을 실시간으로 추정하여 연산되어진다. 제안하는 제어시스템은 기존의 결정적 외란으로부터 발생되었던 실시간 제어오차를 월등히 개선하는 장점을 가지고 있다. 실시간 전동기 제어장치를 통해 제안하는 알고리즘의 성능의 우수성 및 타당성을 검증한다.

  • This paper proposes the design of a robust controller based on disturbance observer which is strong to variation of system parameters, uncertainty of models or external disturbance. The controller consists of a mode based compensator and a feedback controller based on two-loop structure. The compensator in the internal-loop removes internal and external disturbances and a feedback controller in the external loop achieves performance along with given specifications. As a result, it shows that the proposed robust controller can stabilize a system against disturbance and improve controlling performance.

  • 압전 구동기(Piezo actuator)는 수 나노미터 수준의 위치정밀도와 고분해능을 가지고 있으나 비선형 특성인 히스테리시스(Hysteresis)는 정상상태에서 위치 오차를 발생하는 주요 원인이 된다. 현재까지 히스테리시스를 보상하기 위해 피 프 포워드 제어 방법, Pl 제어 방법, $H_{\infty}$제어 방법 등이 연구되어 왔지만 저주파 대역의 외란(disturbance)까지 고려하여 시스 템을 주파수 영역에서 설계, 분석하는 방법에 대한 연구는 미흡하였다. 본 논문은 압전 구동기의 위치 제어를 위한 제어기의 설계와 이를 주파수 영역에서 분석하는 내용을 다룬다. 제어기의 설계는 히스테리시스를 보상하기 위해 극점 배치 방법과 외란 관측기(Disturbance observer)를 기본으로 하였으며 적분제어를 적용하여 시스템 민감도(sensitivity)를 개선하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 설계한 제어기가 히스데리시스에 대한 보상과 민감도의 개선에 효율적임을 검증하였다.

Disturbance Compensation Control by FXLMS Algorithm (FXLMS 알고리즘을 이용한 외란보상 제어기 설계)

  • This paper represents a disturbance compensation control for attenuating disturbance responses. In the consideration of the requirements on the model accuracy in the model based compensator designs, an experimental feed forward compensator design based on adaptive estimation by Filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm is proposed. The convergence properties of the FXLMS algorithm are discussed and its conditions for the asymptotic convergence are derived theoretically. The effectiveness of the proposed method and the theoretical proof are verified by computer simulation.

  • 본 논문에서는 외란 및 파라미터 변동에 강건한 시간지연 제어 알고리즘을 전기식 구동장치의 위치 제어기에 적용하여 설계한 내용을 기술하였다. 시간지연 제어기는 일정하게 경과된 시간에서의 외란 및 동특성 변동의 양을 현재의 것으로 가정하여 전체 제어 시스템의 특성이 기준모델의 특성을 따르게 하는 제어기이다. 파라미터 변동 및 외란에 대해 시간지연 제어기의 강건성을 시뮬레이션을 통해 입증하였으며 PID 제어기와도 비교하였다. 또한 포화요소에 대한 와인드업 방지보상기와 모델링되지 않는 동특성에 대한 대향필터링 보상기를 설계하여 시스템의 안정성을 향상시켰다.

  • This paper presents external load disturbance compensation that used to deadbeat load torque observer and regulation of the compensation gain by parameter estimator. As a result, the response of PMSM follows that of the nominal plant. The load torque compensation method is compose of a dead beat observer that is well-known method. However it has disadvantage such as a noise amplification effect. To reduce of the effect, the post-filter, which is implemented by MA process, is proposed. The parameter compensator with RLSM(recursive least square method) parameter estimator is suggested to increase the performance of the load torque observer and main controller. Although RLSM estimator is one of the most effective methods for online parameter identification, it is difficult to obtain unbiased result in this application. It is caused by disturbed dynamic model with external torque. The proposed RLSM estimator is combined with a high performance torque observer to resolve the problems. As a result, the proposed control system becomes a robust and precise system against the load torque and the parameter variation. A stability and usefulness, through the verified computer simulation and experiment, are shown in this paper.

  • This paper presents a new method of external load disturbance compensation using deadbeat load torque observer and gain compensation by parameter estimator. The response of the permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) follows the nominal plant. The load torque compensation method is composed of a deadbeat observer. To reduce the noise effect, the post-filter implemented by moving average(MA) process is adopted. The parameter compensator with recursive least square method(RLSM) parameter estimator is suggested to make the new system work as same as the name plate system which in used to take gains. The proposed estimator is combined with a high performance load torque observer to resolve the problems. As a result, the proposed control system has a robust and precise system against the load torque and the parameter variation. A stability and usefulness are verified by computer simulation and experiment.

  • A scheme of IESFVSC(Integral Error State Feedback Variable Structure Controller) is proposed for a DC servo position control system with the disturbances which do not satisfy the matching condition. The proposed control system is composed of servo compensator and state feedback VSC. The servo compensator enhances the robustness of the control system against various types of disturbance, and makes effective tracking possible without using error dynamics. The IESFVSC is applied to the practical design of a robust DC servo control system and the control performances are verified through theoretical analyses and simulations.

  • A new steel sheet pile of wide hat-type was developed. Advantage of using wide type of sheet pile is reducing steel weight and consequently cutting down construction cost. Field driveability tests were conducted in order to verifying vibro-driveability of wide hat-type sheet pile. As a result of the tests, penetration rates of newly developed sheet piles were less than those of U-type sheet piles. Axial stresses developed in sheet pile during driving were fur less than yield stress of sheet pile. Futhermore, initial penetration rates of sheet piles were much larger than those obtained from WEAP program.
