Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) has played a vital role in the economic growth of Pakistan. The objective of this paper is to review the literature on the Pakistan's FDI law and explore possibilities for research. We focus on the Foreign Private Investment (Promotion and Protection) Act 1976, Furtherance and Protection of Economic Reforms Act 1992, and Foreign Currency Accounts (Protection) Ordinance 2001. Major concern seems to be frequent change in policies, lack of follow up for effective implementation of the good decisions above all the law.

'오징어 게임', '기생충', K-POP 등의 K-콘텐츠를 중심으로 한류 문화가 세계적으로 전파되고 있으며 이에 따라 방한을 희망하는 외국인들도 증가하고 있다. 그리고 여행자들의 취향이 세분화되면서 개인 맞춤형 여행을 선호하는 방향으로 트렌드가 변화되고 있다. 그러나 외국인을 대상으로 하는 애플리케이션은 많지 않다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 해소하고자 외국인 관광객을 대상으로 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 모바일 애플리케이션인 'DisKO'를 개발하였다. 본 앱에서는 여행 취향에 대한 선호도를 기반으로 카테고리별 맞춤형 관광 정보를 제공한다. 그 외에도 외국인 관광객에게 필수적인 번역, 환율, 시차, 지도 등의 편의 기능을 제공한다. 본 앱을 통해 외국인 관광객들은 맞춤형 정보와 반드시 필요한 편의 서비스를 'DisKO'에서 활용할 수 있다.

전기수요의 증가현상과 도시의 인구집중으로 인한 주택의 밀집화, 건물의 고층화, 전화가정의 증가등의 세력으로 보아 머지않은 장래에는 현재와 같은 소용량 변압기에 의한 배전방식으로는 이들 수요를 감당하기가 어렵게 될 것이 예상된다. 또한 도심지 주택 밀집지역 및 상가지대는 도로의 협소, 통행인의 과밀, 건주의 불가능 등으로 대용량 변압소의 건설은 용이한 일이 아니며, 도시의 미화, 대지의 효용가치의 증대를 도모하고 장차 수요증가에 원할한 전력공급을 기하기 위하여는 2차 Network계통의 소용량 Unit Type변압기를 지하등 적당한 장소에 설치하는 방안을 강구하여 실현해야 될 것이다. 여기서는 외국의 문헌과 외국에 의뢰하여 모집한 각종 자료를 기초로하여 그 설치 방안을 조사 연구하였다.

According to the equity home bias theory, foreign investors are considered to have less information than native investors. However, as the economy becomes liberalized and overseas economic innovation has a great influence on the local economy, it is possible for foreign investors to invest as informed traders. This study analyzes whether information on trade amount by nationality has specific characteristics. The findings are summarized as follows. First, the increase in trading by foreign investors has negative effects on stock returns. There is no significant difference in these negative effects by nationality. This means that foreign investors show strong herd behavior regardless of nationality. Second, foreigners' investment activities increase stock price volatility, but the impact is not significant. Third, the behavior of foreign investors is still positive feedback. However, there are signs that positive feedback behavior may be changing, especially for funds from the United States and the Cayman Islands. Finally, tax haven zone funds have different investment strategies than other foreign investors. However, Cayman Islands funds, which are estimated to be closely related to Korea, are different from Luxembourg and Ireland funds. These findings undermine the fundamentals of the equity home bias theory.

현재 기존 변압기의 문제점 해결과 도시공간의 이용 및 전력수요의 증가에 대처하기 위하여 난연성 변압기로서 SF$_{6}$gas변압기 및 액냉식 대용량 변압기의 개발 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있으나 중전기기 제작기술이 외국에 크게 의존하고 있으며 또한 연구개발비가 매우 크게 의존하고 있으며 또한 연구개발비가 매우 크게 소요되므로 일반기업체의 단독 개발은 매우 어려운 상태이다. 본 기술은 보유 및 연구를 하고 있는 외국회사는 5개사 정도이며, 현재 건식 변압기가 사용되는 장소의 전력소요가 증가하고 또한 변전소의 CGI(compressed gas insulation)화가 추진됨에 따라 수요는 상당히 증가할 것으로 생각되며 신규설치 및 기존변압기의 대체를 고려할 때 세계시장은 성장성 및 연속성이 있을 것으로 추정된다. 이 변압기는 아직 외국에서도 특수한 경우를 제외하고는 일반적으로 상품화까지 연구가 완료된 상태가 아니므로 기술도입이 어려웁고 또한 지금부터 같이 연구를 하면 기술격차를 줄일 수 있다고 생각되 기본설계, 제작 연구를 통하여 자체기술의 지속적 연구가 필요하다고 하겠다.

This paper is intended to forecast the demand for tourism of fishing regions and find the public policies to activate it. The paper focuses on the east coast regions in Gangwon-do. The analysis was conducted through time series analyses and surveys of the tourists in the regions. The results of analyses showed that, while the number of tourists(both domestic and foreign) to the regions has increased, the regions have not been able to accommodate them enough to help improve economies of the regions. It was forecasted that the number of tourists will significantly increase in the future. However, that rates of increase, especially the rates of increase of foreign tourists, cannot be evaluated positively compared to those of the past. These results suggested a few local governmental policies to activate tourism in the regions.
