Design of adhesive wireless bookbinding machine with optimal motor control and automatic cover insertion (최적의 모터 제어 및 겉표지 자동 투입 기능을 적용한 접착식 무선 제본기 설계)

  • An adhesive wireless bookbinding machine was designed with optimal motor control and automatic cover insertion for bookbinding. The noise level was improved by modifying the thrust of the machine and changing from a compressor method to an AC induction motor control method. The automatic cover insertion function was added to improve the task speed. Motor and decelerator damage can be caused by sudden braking and acceleration of the motor rotation (clockwise and counter-clockwise), so a buffer-type locational control system was developed to secure stable movement and durability. The complicated internal design was also simplified, and the volume and weight were decreased. The results show that the noise was decreased by 57% from 135 dB to 71.7 dB, and the task speed was decreased by 57% from 18 s to 9.58 s. The automatic cover insertion was designed to supply a maximum of 130 sheets per supply.

  • This paper categorized the functions of and investigated the characteristics of planting in Pyeonghwa Park near the Seoul World Cup Stadium as a preliminary study for improving tree planting in the park. The functions of planting were deduced based on related theoretical studies and an analysis of the intention of design and environmental factors. The characteristics of planting were analyzed after drawing the distribution and stratification of dominant planting species and setting samples by function. The functions of planting were classified into natural landscape planting, buffer planting, and shade planting. For dominant planting species, pine trees and elm-like trees have been widely observed while various species in addition to pine trees in natural landscape planting areas have been introduced in terms of the function of planting. These trees that were randomly planted before the park was developed have been obstacles in the formation of natural landscapes. For buffer planting and topographical correction, tall trees were planted. However, it seems that comprehensive complementary measures should be taken on the under-story planting.

Microfluidic System for the Measurement of Cupric Ion Concentration using Bilayer Lipid Membrane on Silver Surface (은 표면의 이중층 지질막에 의한 구리 이온 농도 측정용 마이크로플루이딕 시스템)

  • A microfluidic system has been developed using biomaterial for the measurement of cupric ion concentration. The cell-membrane-mimicking bilayer lipid membrane(BLM)-coated silver electrode was used for the sensing of cupric ion concentration. The silver-supported BLM could increase its stability. A silver-supported bilayer lipid membrane(s-BLM) was easily obtained using its self-assembling characteristics by immersing silver wire into lipid(phosphatidylcholine; PC) solution and then dipping into aqueous KCl solution. These s-BLMs were used to determine the relationship between $Cu^{2+}$ concentration and current crossing s-BLM. Their relationship showed high linearity and reproducibility. The calibration curve was constructed to express the relationship between $Cu^{2+}$ concentration and current in the $Cu^{2+}$ concentration range of 10 and $130{\mu}M$. This calibration curve was used to measure $Cu^{2+}$ concentration in an unknown sample. Microfluidic system with s-BLM was made of PDMS(polydimethyl siloxane) using typical soft photolithography and molding technique. This integrated system has various functions such as activation of the silver surface without cutting silver wire, coating of BLM on silver surface, injection of KCl buffer solution, injection of $Cu^{2+}$ sample and measurement of $Cu^{2+}$ concentration in the sample.

Assessment of Green Spaces and Direction of Master Plan for Urban Parks Considering Functional Characteristics - Focused on Donjibong Park in Daegu - (도시공원의 기능적 특성을 고려한 녹지평가 및 계획방향 - 대구광역시 돈지봉공원을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to carry out a comprehensive assessment of Donjibong Park in Daegu and establish a master plan for green space considering the functional characteristics of the park. For this purpose, green space in the park was assessed based on 13 indicators using three functions. A comprehensive green master plan was then proposed. Green spaces with high scores for the natural-ecological and environmental-control functions were found in the central area of the park, whereas green spaces with low scores were found near the park boundary and paved areas. Green spaces in the southeast were found to have a high score for usage functions due to their proximity to a residential area. In the master plan based on the comprehensive assessment, the plan space was divided into a conservation area, restoration area, buffer area, environmental monitoring area, observatory/trail/facility area, and waterside green space area. Also, concrete plan directions were proposed based on each plan space. These results can be utilized for establishing objective plans in the future construction of new parks.

Passive restoration under progress in wetland of National Institute of Ecology (국립생태원 습지에서 진행 중인 자발적 복원)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate restoration process of a few wetlands in the National Institute of Ecology (NIE). Wetlands were composed of the former rice paddies that passive restoration was led through only natural process and by creating waterway, and an ecological pond, a reservoir that restorative treatment was practiced. As the result of analysis on landscape change in the current wetland space, existing wetland in NIE was usually from the former rice field and some parts were from the residential area or forest. Change of species composition was progressed from crops or ruderals resistant to human interferences to plant species, which has removed artificially for cultivation and grow usually in the typical wetland. Both species diversity and occurrence of exotic plants were the highest when restoration project is in progress and stages after and before restoration were followed. In an ecological pond that restorative treatment was done, vegetation introduced as riparian buffer was established successfully and thereby it was expected that it could contribute to buffer environmental stress comming from the outside. Synthesized the above mentioned results, change of wetland vegetation established in NIE resembled the typical trend of early successional stage occurring in the abandoned rice paddy and consequently, it was estimated that successful restoration is under progress. Restoration under progress in an ecological pond where artificial aid in the least level was added, could be evaluated in successful as well. In particular, successful establishment of buffering vegetation, which can play diverse ecological functions, could be evaluated as significant restoration effect. But adaptive management to improve ecological quality for the section that buffering vegetation is insufficient, is required.

Mitigation Effect on Airborne Particulate Matter Concentration by Roadside Green Space Type and Impact of Wind Speed (도로변 녹지 유형별 미세먼지 농도 저감 효과와 이에 대한 풍속의 영향 연구)

  • This study measured PM10 concentrations and wind speeds in buffer green spaces and neighborhood parks located along the road, and compared them with roadside measurementresults to understand the effect of mitigating PM10 concentrations by type of green space and the influence of wind speeds on it. As a result of the analysis, the effect of mitigating PM10 concentration was different depending on the type of roadside green space, and an increase in wind speed had a significant effect on reducing PM10 concentration. In buffer green areas with high planting density, wind speed was low and PM10 stagnated inside, resulting in the highest concentration. On the other hand, green areas in neighborhood parks with relatively low planting density had high wind speeds and the lowest PM10 concentration. The non-green area within the neighborhood park recorded the highest wind speed, which was advantageous for the spread of PM10, but the concentration was higherthan that of the green area. Therefore, in orderto reduce PM10 concentration in roadside green space, it is necessary to create green space with good ventilation, and the combined effect of green space and wind speed seems to be more advantageous in reducing PM10 concentration. Green spaces capture and remove PM inside, contributing to reducing the concentration of PM outside. In order to manage PM in the entire city and on roads, it is necessary to increase planting density and leaf area in roadside green spaces, such as buffer green spaces, so that PM can be removed within the green spaces. However, in green spaces such as neighborhood parks that are actively used by city residents, in orderto minimize damage to users due to PM, it is desirable to create green spaces with a structure that allows PM to spread to the outside rather than stagnate inside.

  • This study is to compare and analyse the high school chemistry curriculum in Korea and Japan from the viewpoint of the structure, objectives, contents, teaching-learning method, and assessment plans. From the comparative analysis, we found some common and different aspects. The suggestive ideas which is useful for study of Korean science curriculum were deduced, such as more expansion of selective subjects and enhancing the guidance, more flexible teaching methods, enhancing the individualized instruction plans suitable to each student's condition, careful selection of educational contents and enhancing the base and foundation, and transition period.

  • 인터넷을 이용한 사이버 거래가 빠른 속도로 증가함으로써 기업에게 있어 인터넷 쇼핑몰 구축은 더 이상 선택사항이 아닌 필수 사항이 되었다. 하지만 현재 사이버 거래 수준은 전통적 상거래 수준에 못 미칠뿐더러 거래 항목에 있어서도 매우 제한적인 것이 사실이다. 앞으로 사이버 거래는 계속적으로 증가하리라 전망되지만 제품의 특성 혹은 고객의 기호에 따라 전통적 상거래도 그 영역을 차지하며 함께 양립하여 발전할 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 상거래 시스템에 사이버 거래기능을 추가하는 모델을 제시한다. 먼저 지리적으로 멀리 떨어져 있는 유통망의 정보화를 위하여 인터넷 기술을 이용하고 공급체인(Supply Chain) 전체에 걸친 동기화를 위해 TOC(Theory of Constraint)의 DBR(Drum-Buffer-Rope) 스케줄링을 응용한다. 모든 생산 및 유통의 흐름 속도가 최종 분배 센타에 접수되는 고객의 요구에 따라 이루어지게 함으로써 공급체인 전체에 걸친 동기화를 이룰 수 있고 지속적인 버퍼 관리를 통하여서 재고의 절감은 물론 미출고의 발생도 최소화할 수 있다. 만약 분배 센타에 재고부족 현상이 일어날 경우에는 공급체인 상의 능력제약자원(Capacity Constraint Resource . CCR)을 찾아 개선 활동을 수행하며 공급체인의 흐름 속도를 능력제약자원에 맞추어 조절한다. 분배 센타에서 대리점 혹은 사이버 고객으로의 배송은 부분적 분할납품 Partial Transshipment : PT) 전략을 적용한다. 즉 각 분배 센타가 관리하는 수요지 중 인접한 지역을 부분적 분할납품 전략 적용 수요지로 선택하고 사이버 거래를 통해 생성된 물류가 부분적 분할납품 전략 적용 수요지에 분배되게 함으로써 각 분배 센타의 재고 완충역할을 수행하게 한다. 이에 따라 안전 재고 및 역 배송을 최소화 할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 미 출고로 인한 손실을 최소화하며 고객의 서비스를 일정하게 유지시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 한강 "수변구역"에서 비점오염물질의 공공수역 유입을 억제하기 위한 다양한 방법들 중에서 보편적이고 자연친화적인 방법은 다양한 생물의 서식공간이며, 동시에 본류로 유입되는 과정에서 수질을 정화시키는 수질개선 공간인 수변완충구역, 또는 지대를 설정하여 관리하는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 수변완충지대 효과 분석 및 설정에 관한 연구는 국내에서 아직 수행되지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 수변구역의 자정능력을 높이는 것은 물론 그 밖의 하천 연안에서 비점오염물질의 차단과 처리능력을 증진시키고 수변 생태계의 서식처 보전 및 복원을 위해서 수변완충지대의 수질정화 기술개발과 생물다양성을 창출하는 수변완충지대 조성 기법을 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 수변완충지의 추가적인 조성과 보완, 시험완충지 생태구조 및 기능 기초조사, 시험완충지 오염부하 저감효과의 실험 및 분석, 수변완충지대 설치 구상 등의 연구를 수행하여 수변완충지대 조성 시 설정 폭을 산정할 수 있게 하였다. 수행 지역은 한강수계 지역으로 남한강 수변인 경기도 양평군 병산리에서 실시하였으며, 잔디와 갈대, 갯버들, 혼합지역, 자연그대로의 상태(대조지역)의 5 구역으로 구분하였고, 거리별, 깊이별 샘플을 채취하여 유입수에 대한 오염물질 제거효율을 도출하고, 이를 이용하여 수변완충지대의 설계 시 필요한 유역의 폭, 면적, 길이 등과 같은 설계인자를 도출할 수 있도록 하였다.

Monitoring Ovarian Function by Solid- Phase Chemiluminescence Immunoassay

  • 여성의 난소기능은 뇨중 Oestrone-3-glucuronide를 간편한 solid-phase 의 화학발광성 면역학적 측정법 (Chemiluminescence Imrnunoassay(CIA) 에 의하여 그 기능이 탐지될 수 있다. Oestrone-3-g1ucuronyl-6-bovine serum albumine에 대한 antiserum의 IgG fraction은 polystyrene 실험관벽에 흡착시켰으며, 항원으로서는 est r one-3- gl ucuronyI-6-aminoethyl-ethyl-isoluminol 을 항원 (antigen) 에 labeI 시킨 것이다. 시험 대상물인 뇨는 매일아침뇨(early morning urine) 을 희석 (1:1000 V/V)한 후 100mcl 를 취하여 이를 각기 이중분석액으로 택하였다. 시험관 내에서 결합반응 (1 hour at $4^{\circ}C)이 일어난 후에는 시험관내의 액체를 전부 흡입 폐기시켰으며, 항체반응이 일어난 후 ( antibody-bound fraction )에는 완충액 (400mcl)으로 한번 세척시켰다. 그후 염화수산화물(2N , 200mcl)을 가지고 $22^{\circ}C$에 60 분간 방치 혼합케 한 후 효소(microperoxidase) 와 과산화수소를 가하면서 산화작용에서 발생되는 발광양을 10초동안 측정하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 위에 기술한 분석방법을 평가하면 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. Calibration curve sensitivity$3.12{\pm}0.75$ PG/tube ($mean{\pm}SD$)였고, lntra-assay precision(CV%) 9.52 (20 replicates;$38.4{\pm}3.66$nmol/1) 와 8.81 (15 replicates; $102.4{\pm}8.82$nmol/1)였다. Inter-assay precision(CV%) 은 11.9 (mean of 4 pools-7.03, 23.16, 52.11 과 117.53 nmol/1)로 2개월 동안에 걸쳐 시행되었고, 평균 비이어스(mean bias)는 -0.78 로 28에서 448 nmol 범위로서 매일아침 "뇨"의 차이분(different aliquots)은 좋은 결과를 얻었다. 건강한 여성으로부터 채취된 뇨중 Oestrone-3-glucuronide 의 농도(nmol/1)를 보면 월경주기의 여포기와 배난기 및 황체기에 있어서 각기 $40.2{\pm}9.9$ , $102.3{\pm}39.4$$84.3{\pm}13.3$nmol/1였다. 이와같은 결과는 동일한 검사뇨를 방사면역학적 방법(RIA)으로 측정 (6 menstrual cycle)한 결과와 유사한 측정치를 얻으므로서 간편하고 진보된 좋은 방법중의 하나라고 사료되는바이다.
