Hysteroscopic Septotomy of a Complete Septate Uterus Using a Balloon with Methylene Blue (완전 중격 자궁에서 메틸렌 블루가 들어 있는 풍선을 이용한 자궁경하 중격 제거술)

  • A complete septate uterus with cervical duplication and a longitudinal vaginal septum is a rare uterine malformation. The dissection of the septum can be difficult because it is difficult for hysteroscopists to find out initial point, direction and final point of a complete septum. This study aimed the introduction of more efficient surgical procedure using a balloon with methylene blue. We have experienced three cases with a complete septate uterus. We performed hysteroscopic dissection of a complete uterine septum using a balloon with methylene blue and obtained good reproductive outcomes. So we report three cases with a brief review of literatures.

  • The design comparison and nonlinear analysis of totally prefabricated bridge substructure systems are performed. The prefabricated bridge substructures are designed by the methods of present design and load and resistance factor design (LRFD). For the design, the current Korea Highway Bridge Code (KHBD), with DB-24 and DL-24 live loads, is used. This study evaluates the present design method of KHBD (2005) and AASHTO-LRFD (2007) for totally prefabricated bridge substructure systems. A computer program, named RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), for the analysis of reinforced concrete structures, was used.

Document Summarization Method using Complete Graph (완전그래프를 이용한 문서요약 연구)

  • In this paper, we present the document summarizers which are simpler and more condense than the existing ones generally used in the web search engines. This method is a statistic-based summarization method using the concept of the complete graph. We suppose that each sentence as a vertex and the similarity between two sentences as a link of the graph. We compare this summarizer with those of Clustering and MMR techniques which are well-known as the good summarization methods. For the comparison, we use FScore using the summarization results generated by human subjects. Our experimental results verify the accuracy of this method, being about $30\%$ better than the others.

  • This paper was conducted on analytical solution using superposition and FEM analysis in the free vibration analysis of rectangular plates under uniform thermal loadings. Materials of three rectangular plates were aluminum, steel and stainless-steel respectively. Applied temperature conditions were from room temperature to $300^{\circ}C$ and boundary condition was free-free condition. Fully symmetric mode(FSM), fully antisymmetric mode(FASM) and symmetric-antisymmetric mode(SAM) were analyzed.

  • Recent advances in understanding the anatomy of complete atrioventricular septal defect have led to alternative methods of repairing these defects. Here we report two cases of complete atrioventricular septal defect repair by direct closure of the ventricular element of the defect. Follow-up for average of 3 months suggests that, when direct closure can be performed, the results can be comparable with those of the standard technique. Our initial success with this approach is encouraging; however, longer follow-up and more experiences are required to establish whether it will be broadly applicable.

  • A 6-month old girl who had pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect and major aortopulmonary collaterals underwent one-stage complete repair with unifocalization through a bilateral thoracosternotomy(clamshell incision). There were no serious postoperative compli cations, and the postoperative echocardio-graphy showed no residual ventricular septal defect or significant pulmonary artery stenosis. In this condition, great surgical variability exists regarding the sources of pulmonary blood flow. Recent clinical work has focused on a one-stage complete repair. The potential advantages of the clamshell incision are apparent in terms of mediastinal approach, postoperative results, and safety.

  • The matching preclusion set of a graph is a set of edges whose deletion results in a graph that has neither perfect matchings nor almost perfect matchings. The matching preclusion number is the minimum cardinality over all matching preclusion sets. We show in this paper that, for any $m{\geq}4$, the matching preclusion numbers of both m-dimensional restricted HL-graph and recursive circulant $G(2^m,4)$ are equal to degree m of the networks, and that every minimum matching preclusion set is the set of edges incident to a single vertex.

  • 전 세계적으로 하천 수질이 저하되고 있다. 이는 수생태계의 손상을 야기하고 인류를 위한 하천의 물 공급원 기능에 저해 요소로 작용한다. 오염된 수생태계에 대한 효과적인 맞춤형 관리전략을 수립하려면 수질의 시공간적 변동 요인을 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 시간적 및 공간적 변동성이 모두 중요하지만, 본 연구에서는 낙동강 전체 유역에서 나타나는 공간적인 변동성에 집중하여 하천 수질의 공간적 차이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 식별하고 그들의 상대적 중요성을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석을 위해 낙동강 유역 전역의 40개 수질오염총량관리 단위유역에서 5년 동안 수집된 하천 총인 농도와 유역특성 자료를 사용하였다. 총인 농도의 공간적 변동성에 영향을 미치는 주요 유역특성을 식별하기 위한 통계모델 선정을 위해 완전 탐색 접근법과 베이지안 추론이 적용되었다. 완전 탐색은 두 단계에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 1 단계 완전 탐색의 결과로 유역특성 자료들의 중요도가 선정되었으며 2 단계 완전탐색 결과로 통계모델이 우선 선정되었다. 우선 선정된 통계모델은 베이지안 추론을 통해 모델의 정확도와 불확실성이 분석되었고 공간적 변동성 분석을 위한 최적 모델이 선정되었다. 본 연구의 결과로 낙동강 하천 총인 농도의 공간적 변동성에 영향을 미치는 주요 유역특성에 대한 통찰력이 제공된다. 또한 식별된 주요 유역특성은 유역특성 변화에 대한 하천의 수질 반응을 예측하는데 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • One of the key technologies in providing data analysis in the deep learning while maintaining security is fully homomorphic encryption. Due to constraints in operations on fully homomorphically encrypted data, non-arithmetic functions used in deep learning must be approximated by polynomials. Until now, the degrees of approximation polynomials with composite minimax polynomials have been uniformly set across layers, which poses challenges for effective network designs on fully homomorphic encryption. This study theoretically proves that setting different degrees of approximation polynomials constructed by composite minimax polynomial in each layer does not pose any issues in the inference on convolutional neural networks.

Selection of all ceramic crown (완전 도재관의 선택)

  • The requirements for the successful treatment of all-ceramic restorations are not so different from the ones of conventional restorations. "The provisional restoration followed by an adequate tooth reduction" and "the accurately fitting prostheses with corresponding to final impression" can be the examples of them. Nevertheless, the one which all-ceramic restorations are distinguished from conventional restorations is the additional procedure of so called "bonding". In addition to the application of resin cement between "inner surface of restoration and outer surface of abutment", bonding technology can be also applied to the treatment process of "Post and Core" in particular if the abutments are non-vital teeth. Core build-up for all-ceramic crown is conducted with fiber post and tooth colored composite by considering the properties of the restorations transmitting light. We know well that a vital abutment is easier than a non-vital one to get the targeted goals for clinical success in connection with esthetics and structure. The creation of "Post and Core" with bonding technique is a decisive factor for a long-term success if the abutment is non-vital tooth with dentinal collapse. I would like to share my clinical experience about "post & core build-up and all-ceramic restoration bonding" out of several success strategies of all-ceramic crown with this review article.
