차세대 웹의 중심기술인 시맨틱 웹을 구현하기 위해서는 컴퓨터가 지식을 추론하고 처리할 수 있게 하기 위한 지식표현방법인 온톨로지가 필수적으로 요구된다. 이러한 온톨로지 생성의 중요성이 점차 커져 가는 실정에 따라, 생성된 온톨로지들의 재사용을 위한 방법이 관련 연구들 사이에 중요한 과제로 떠오르기 시작되었다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지의 재사용을 효율적으로 하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 우리가 제안하는 방법은 온툴로지를 사용자가 이해하기 쉽고 편집이 용이한 그래프 형태로 표현하는 방법으로 온톨로지를 UML로 변환하여 UML을 통한 온툴로지 재사용 방안을 제안한다. 우리가 제안하는 방법은 다음과 같다. OMG의 MDA 개념을 기반으로 기존에 생성된 온톨로지를 XML 파서를 이용하는 방법을 통하여 XMI로 변환한다. XMI로 변환된 온툴로지는 UML 도구를 사용하여 재사용 할 수 있다. UML로 변환된 온톨로지는 위 과정을 역으로 다시 수행함으로써 온톨로지로 변환된다. 이렇게 UML로 변환된 온톨로지는 UML의 장점을 그대로 가지게 된다. 이미 널리 사용되고 가독성과 편집력 그리고 상호 운용성이 높은 UML을 이용하여 온톨로지의 재 사용성을 높이고자 하는데 있다. 즉 사용자가 직관적으로 온톨로지의 전체 구조와 의미를 파악하는데 도움을 주며 편집 또한 용이하다. 이러한 방법을 바탕으로 UML을 통해 온톨로지를 쉽게 사용자의 온톨로지에 대한 이해와 수정을 도와 온톨로지의 재 사용성을 높이고 사용자간의 공유를 용이하게 만들 수 있다.

Current web search includes a lot of different results with information that user does not want, because it searches information using keyword mapping. Ontology can describe the correct meaning of web resource and relationships between web resources. And we can extract suitable information that user wants using Ontology Accordingly, we need the ontology to represent knowledge. W3C announced OWL(Web Ontology Language), meaning description technology for such web resource. However, the development of a special tool that can effectively compose and edit OWL is inactive. In this paper, we designed and developed an OWL authoring system that can effectively provide the generation and edit about OWL.

It is a difficult problem that learner have to need much times and efforts to search informations for problem solving. This is caused that the web based search system used by this time have the searching method of simple keyword matching. The searching method of simple keyword matching search informations by method of whether it is simply matched with keyword. Therefore, Learner have to much times and efforts to search informations, and may lose or be out of his bearing. To solve this problems, We design and implement a ontology based search system. This system is apply to PBL of social studies on middle school students. As a result, This system is more effect than the web based search system used by this time.

The ultimate purpose of cities is 'the enhancement of quality of life in city'. In order to achieve this, it is required to optimize the Ontology-driven ubiquitous services included in the U-City and UIS of regions and communities and so on. Almost U-Service's contents are related to spatial or temporal extent. So it is important to design Spatio-temporal event schema for efficient access to U-City. There is a rapid change into an urban society in the shape of Ontology-driven ubiquitous services in which a content on a region or an incident is newly reconstructed through various ideas with the influence of the ubiquitous environment.

To support service based on context-aware in ubiquitous computing environment, there are required context managing, context reasoning and context modeling technologies. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical ontology-based context management model and design a context-aware middleware based on this model for supporting active application adaptability and reflecting users' requirements dynamically in contextual changes. It also provides efficient support for inferencing, interpreting, acquiring and discovering various contexts to build context-aware services and presents a resolution method for context conflict which is occurred in execution of service. The proposed middleware can support the development and operation of various context-aware services, which are required in the ubiquitous computing environment.

본 논문에서 우리는 시맨틱 웹을 기반으로 하는 웹 서비스 발견, 실행, 구성 및 모니터링을 자동화하기 위한 목적을 가지는 DAML-S를 규칙기반 프레임워크로의 확장 및 통합방안에 관한 연구결과를 제시한다. 확장 및 통합된 형태의 DAML-S는 온톨로지 내부에 DamlRuleML로 인코딩된 형태의 규칙들을 포함한다. 내포된 규칙들로 보완된 DAML-S 서비스 온톨로지들은 서비스 발견, 실행, 구성 및 모니터링에서 확장 이전의 DAML-S가 가지는 한계점들을 극복하고 나아가 보다 지능적인 서비스의 구현을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 우리의 접근법은 온톨로지를 마크업하기 위한 노력과 규칙을 표현하기 위한 노력이 자연스러운 방법으로 통합될 수 있는 근간을 마련할 뿐만 아니라 규칙들을 이용하여 온톨로지들을 보완하고, 규칙들에서 사용되는 용어들을 온톨로지들에서 정의된 용어들 및 속성들로 표현할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 이와 같은 공헌이외에 우리는 실제 시나리오를 통하여 언급된 사항들이 가능하게 되는 방법들을 구체적으로 보인다.

최근 사회생활의 다변화로 인한 개인의 질환을 예방하고 건강을 증진시키기 위한 개인 웰니스 관리는 현대 사회의 성인에게는 필수적인 자기 관리에 해당된다. 본 논문는 이러한 웰니스 관리에 적절한 상황 모델로써 상황 데이터를 추론할 수 있는 SWRL 상황규칙과 불확실성을 표현한 베이지안 네트워크를 포함한 통합 온톨로지 기반 상황모델을 제시하였다. 제안한 상황모델에 포함된 추론 규칙은 웰니스 관리에 필요한 상황 서비스를 수행하는 액션들을 정의한다. 즉 상황 온톨로지에 SWRL 규칙을 포함함으로써 주로 웹 시멘틱에 사용되고 있는 OWL 언어를 상황인식 분야의 지식 베이스 구축에도 적합하도록 하였다. 그리고 웰니스 관리를 위해 상황 온톨로지로 표현되는 원시 상황 데이터는 센서 부정확성, 또는 개인 판단기준 차이로 인해 불확실성을 포함하므로, 어떤 논리적 상황 데이터는 불확실성을 고려하여 추론되어야 하기 때문에 본 논문은 상황 온톨로지 및 SWRL 규칙과 함께 베이지안 네트워크를 함께 표현할 수 있게 하여 OWL 상황 온톨로지 기반 규칙 추론뿐만 아니라 확률 추론을 용이하게 하였다.

It is unsuitable for Korean coastal information to work specific tasks because the coastal information of the current provides simple information, and thus the coastal information is required to reprocess. Therefore, this paper intends to present the ontology model for managing the coastal information using Geo-Ontology and seek application of ontology. The contents of this paper follow as; First of all, I considered the base theories for ontology and related researches. Second, I built Geo-Ontology which defines taxonomy of geographical features and their relationships. Third, I designed and implemented the coastal information ontology about basin of coast, Masan, using Geo-Ontology. Fourth, I carried out semantic queries and reasoning, assessment of the coastal information ontology. This paper will be a base study for many projects which are currently being conducted to integrate spatial information for more effective administrative works and easier maintenance and management of data. Also, this paper is significant in the sense that it is the study preparing for linked data.
