최근들어 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 오픈소스를 통한 소프트웨어 개발에 대한 관심과 참여는 국가적 규모의 지원과 활성화 방안에 대한 연구로 이어지고 있다. 그중에서 오픈소스 개발환경의 한 요소인 개발자들에 대한 이해는 가장 모든 관련연구에 우선하는 핵심적인 연구주제로 다루어져 왔으며, 연구자들은 국제적인 규모의 프로젝트를 대상으로 어떤이들이 무슨 동기로 참여하고 있는가에 대한 질문을 위주로 연구해왔다. 본 연구는 국지적 관점을 추가하여 이러한 연구노력의 연장선상에서 오픈소스 개발에 참여하고 있는 한국인 개발자들을 대상으로 탐색적으로 살펴본다. 본 연구는 한국인 오픈소스 개발자들은 누구인가라는 질문에 대한 답변을 기술통계적 분석기법을 이용하여 시도하고, 또 한국인 참가자들 오픈소스개발 참여에 대한 내재적인 동기와 외적(또는 환경적)동기에 대해 기존 연구들과 비교분석을 통해 이해하려고 시도한다. 이와같은 비교관찰을 토대로 한국의 오픈소스 개발환경에 대한 좀 더 포괄적인 지식을 얻어낼 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 또 오픈소스 개발과 관련한 기타 연구에 있어 인적요소에 대한 이해를 증진시키는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구는 방법론으로써 각종 국내외 오픈소스 프로젝트들에 가입하여 활동중인 한국인 개발자들을 대상으로 전자메일을 이용한 사전조사(설문)를 실시하였다.

Recently, the platforms for open science are being developed for helping researchers and scientists who are interested in convergence studies. This paper is focused on deriving a design method for an integrated architecture for knowledge infrastructure in science and technology and to set up the integration level of details and association between data and services in the integrated architecture. To facilitate the open science in research lifecycle, reconstructing individual services into modular and independent function blocks needs to be reusable and interoperable. The proposed design methodology is used for manipulating a service integration for the convergence service of S&T(Science and Technology) knowledge infrastructure. It can support to seamlessly access computing resources and the research results including artifacts digitally enabled scholars, researchers, and engineers participating in multidisciplinary collaborations.

P2P(Peer to Peer) 기술은 잠재적 능력에도 불구하고 컨텐츠의 저작권문제와 보안문제 등으로 인하여 많은 사람들이 충분히 활용하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 사용자(개인)와 소규모 서버를 운영하는 조직들이 정보 제공, 분배, 공유의 정보시스템 구조를 자신들의 목적에 맞게 자유롭게 만들 수 있는 프레임워크인 오픈웨어 (Openware)의 개발에 관한 것이다. 오픈웨어는 P2P기반 시스템으로 다음과 같은 특징올 갖는다. 1) 다수의 서버와 클라이언트로 이루어지는 구조로, 사용자의 목적에 맞게 집중형 혹은 분산형 구조를 자유롭게 혼합하여 정보시스템을 구성 할 수 있다. 이러한 정보 구조의 유연성은 다양한 형태의 협업(개인과 개인, 개인과 그룹, 그룹과 그룹)이 요구되는 응용 시스템의 기반을 제공한다. 2) 데이터 관점에서 오픈웨어는 개인이 데이터베이스를 손쉽게 생성, 관리 할 수 있고, 자신의, 데이터 혹은 데이터베이스 구조를 다른 사람이나 그룹과 공유 하거나 통합 할 수 있다. 3) 데이터 통신면에서 오픈웨어는 HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) 프로토콜만을 사용하는 웹 기반 시스템으로 인터넷에 연결 되어있는 누구와도 오픈웨어를 통해 협업이 가능하다. 4) 소프트웨어 이름에서 알 수 있듯이 오픈웨어는 Java, JSP, Apache, Resin등 공개소프트어로 만들어져 있고, 오픈웨어 자체도 공개소프트웨어이다. 오픈웨어는 개인과 그룹의 흠페이지 생성과 관리, 파일 공유 기능이 구현 되어있고, 데이터베이스 공유, 통합 기능을 이용하여 개인이나 그룹의 주소록관리, 일정관리 등이 가능하다. 오픈웨어는 사용자 흑은 개발자가 다양한 형태의 응용컴포넌트를 자유롭게 등록하여 기능을 추가 할 수 있는 확장성올 제공하고 있어서, 앞으로 e-메일, 매신저, 전자결재, 지식관리시스템, 인터넷 방송 시스템의 기반 구조 역할을 할 수 있다. 현재 오픈웨어에 적용하기 위한 P2P 기반의 지능형 BPM(Business Process Management)에 관한 연구와 X인터넷 기술을 이용한 RIA (Rich Internet Application) 기반 웹인터페이스 연구를 진행하고 있다.

Open science policies are spreading that disclose, share, and utilize research results produced through government public funds. As a policy to revitalize open science, interest in research support services that allow easy search, access, and reuse of results is increasing. To support services to provide researchers with various information, we propose a research resource knowledge graph model to meaningfully express the relationship between the scattered various outcome data. In this paper, it contributes to the improvement of the service of the national research data platform DataON by meaningfully connecting national R&D task information, researcher information, performance information, and research data information.

오픈 도메인 질의 응답 (ODQA, Open-Domain Question Answering)은 주어진 질문에 대한 답을 찾는 과업으로서 질문과 관련있는 지식을 찾는 "검색" 단계를 필요로 한다. 최근 이미지, 테이블 등의 검색을 요구하는 멀티 모달 ODQA에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되었을 뿐만 아니라 산업에서의 중요도 또한 높아지고 있다. 본 논문은 여러 종류의 멀티 모달 ODQA 중에서도 테이블 - 텍스트 기반 멀티 모달 ODQA 데이터 집합으로 Fusion-in-Decoder (FiD)를 이용한 멀티 모달 오픈 도메인 질의 응답 연구를 제안하며 베이스라인 대비 최대 EM 20.5, F1 23.2 향상을 보였다.

This study examines the relationship between firms' external search strategy and their innovation performance. In addition to revisiting the relationship between open search strategy and product innovation, we further extend the impact of use of external knowledge sources to process and organizational innovation. Using the 2010 Korean Innovation Survey (KIS) of manufacturing firms, we report that on average, venture firms search more widely (external search breadth) and deeply (external search depth) across a variety of external search channels than non-venture firms. We then further explore the impact of venture and non-venture firms' use of external search strategies on innovation performance. We find that both searching widely and deeply increase the likelihood of non-venture firm's successes in product, process and organizational innovation. Similar results can be found for the venture firm's success in organizational innovation. However, only searching deeply increases the likelihood of venture firms' success in product and process innovation.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a model for increasing international use of Korean scholarly journals. Recently DOI and open access are remarkable from the standpoint of increasing the opportunity of global exposition and citation of domestic scholarly journal papers. The data used in investigation and analysis were from KAMJE, KISTI, DOAJ and SCIMAGO. The model comprising DOI service and open access is obtained through analyzing DOI and open access utilization models and investigation on both.
