도시농업 및 커뮤니티에 대한 사회적 관심에 편승하여 근래 도시의 커뮤니티가든(Community Garden)이 주목받고 있다. 북미의 커뮤니티가든은 농작물 생산 위주의 개인텃밭을 포괄한 지역사회의 구성원과 함께 만들어가는 오픈스페이스의 형태로, 화훼 등을 포괄하는 개념으로 간주되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 커뮤니티가든의 발상지인 북미 중에서도 가장 선진적인 사례로 손꼽히고 있는 미국 워싱턴주 시애틀(Seattle)시의 피패치(P-Patch)를 대상으로, 85개의 현장 전수조사를 통하여 공간설계 및 디자인요소를 추출하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 분석결과, 첫째 시애틀 피패치의 일반적인 디자인 구성요소는 기반시설, 지원시설, 휴게시설, 특수시설, 친환경시설 등 다섯 가지 기능으로 대별할 수 있는데, 지원시설로는 공구함(Tool Shed)이나 수전시설(Spigot)이, 친환경시설로는 도마(Cutting Board)나 퇴비함(Compost Bin)이 대부분 설치되어 있다. 둘째, 피패치의 공간구성 및 디자인적 특징으로는 이용자 수요 및 입지적 특성을 반영한 유연한 정원 설계를 들 수 있다. 셋째, 피패치는 다목적형 기능을 겸비한 복합적 공공장소로서 공공의 제도적 지원과 시민운동을 연계하는 기회를 제공하고 있다. 넷째, 지속가능성을 담보하기 위해 다양한 이해관계자(이용자, 코디네이터, 운영진, 전문가, 지역주민, 자원봉사자 등)와의 파트너십 구축, 다양한 재원 조달 방안 모색, 체계적인 모니터링 시스템 구축 및 운영을 지속하고 있다.

This study discusses the core contents and implications of the design support policy of government in the creation of the designer-makers' business ecosystem through the analysis of 'Young man's Creative Work & Startup Support Project'. This case, which aims to cultivate a design brand based on maker technology and to create jobs for young people, suggests the role of government as a creative culture creator so that designer-makers are able to create creative activities in a more free and creative atmosphere. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the importance of efficient integration and reorganization of similar maker support policies implemented by each government department, the necessity of a roadmap for realizing this, and the support for quality improvement. As a result, the design support policy of government for the designer-makers' business activation should evolve into the qualitative development of intellectual property based on a mature shared culture and the discovery of a new production paradigm model of the manufacturing industry based on the open manufacturers beyond the economic and numerical goals of creating new jobs.

Business models in open market systems targeting smart phone users are determined by several important factors. First, by providing developers efficient technical platforms, it contains a setting for developers to learn, apply and improve the skills relating to the product category easily while they stay beyond a corporate boundary. Second, by the first condition, a huge population of talented developers becomes to join a specific open market where will invite more customers to use their applications. Hence it will attract more and more developer participants who will finally give a rise to a persistent market growth. Third, the evaluation system between platform providers and application producers, and one between application producers and application users may underlie the trust relationships between them. The research conducted a multiple embedded case study to test the success factors of open market based business models. It focused on smart phone game communities that have installed user evaluation, and feedback systems. The user innovation empowerment model within the social game networks has highlighted the theories on the roles and characteristics of lead users, and lead user network behaviors for future NPD participations.

Nowadays, the consuming society, the quality of wideness is increasing as the economic life level increases. Modern's any of large department stores, playing a very important role in the middle of our consuming culture, is creating a new life culture and life patterns including producing a new consuming value, too. This is a plan for a renewal design of an inner shop at a department store for brand launching in Seoul, which was planed to escape from the brand's own cold color to show up the product's color using indirect illumination. It was also considered clients' path lines who may keep at a distance to come into an expensive brand's store by designing the whole area as a show room, so there a window display and a harmony with the products let the shop be well functionalized.

This study aims to find out the influence of satisfaction of the product and shopping mall attributes on mall reliability, repurchase intention, and recommendation intention in internet open market. For this purpose, this study surveyed 266 male and female consumers in their 20's~40's for empirical analysis who have ever purchased clothing through internet open markets. Respondents are selected using the convenience sampling through online survey in August 2011. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis are carried out using SPSS for Windows 12.0. The results are as follows; First, it was identified that there were Significant differences in consumers' satisfaction on product and shopping mall attributes according to purchase price, degree of purchase, and the demographics. Second, it was identified that performance, sewing condition, the stability of the form, texture, harmony with other clothes, the response of people, fashionability, seller, origin, detailed explanation on products, interaction with shopping malls, and ease-of-use have significant influence on the reliability of open market. Third, it was identified that easiness to be active in, the stability of the food, design, suitability to T.P.O, price, origin, detailed explanation on products, product assortment, reputation of shopping malls, ease-of-use, and delivery charge policy have significant influence on the repurchase intention. Fourth, it was identified that easiness to be active in, the stability of the form, design, suitability to T.P.O, price, origin, detailed explanation on products, product assortment, reputation of shopping malls, ease-of-use, and delivery charge policy have significant influence on the intention to recommend.

This study proposes community based web service for contents providers and web designers to provide user-centered approach on Wordpress theme search and customizstion process. The contents and structure of theme information is analyzed and online communities on programming and Wordpress are studied to development of community based, theme contents service scenario. As a result, I launched 'Themettack' web service, I took beta testing with 20 users for 2 weeks, and found that theme template image and ideal theme contest services are the most satisfactory experiences. Various community contents which tested in this study and user participation data provided proper directions of Wordpress theme service as open source platform.

Open Housing System ideas were developed in Korea in the 1980s to satisfy the demand for variety indwelling spaces. This domestic attempt to apply open building principles was highly restricted and was applied only in support of middle-large size apartments rather than small size apartments. One of the problems was the conventional design of building structures. It was difficult to effectively satisfy the various lifestyles and transformation of dwellings because existing apartments were designed using a concrete wall structure approach, in which room sizes and arrangements were fixed by the placement of structural concrete walls. This was the result not only of structural analysis (other structural designs were possible) but also the result of the idea that the standard plan was suitable for a stable society and was easier to implement, and that change in social standards and technical upgrading was not going to happen. This study presents an apartment concept in which open building design methods were applied to satisfy the problem of various lifestyles and household sizes and preferences for small apartments. This concept also helps to create a more effective and long lasting building which decreases construction waste, saves resources and protects the environment by enabling the building to accommodate combining, increasing / decreasing, changing location or changing usage of rooms.

Most of the Korean multi-dwelling houses have less than 20 years of lifespan. Because the environmental issues such as energy consumption, limited resources, and demolition waste problems became been more and more critical, we now need to focus on long lasting and adaptable buildings. Korean wall bearing apartment buildings are constructed with site cast concrete for core, exterior, and interior together with pipes varied, so when the buildings are old and life style of the users changes, it is difficult to maintain and renovate these buildings. In this study, to resolve the problems described above, two types of Korean long life multi-dwelling housing models which represent improved durability and adaptability responding user's needs and life style changes were proposed with various methods as follows: Either column and beam structure or flat slab structure was used to utilize space better. To make maintenance easier and renovation economical for both public space and each unit, plumbing pipes, ducts, and conduits were clustered at the cores and public corridors with access doors and light weight partitions with steel studs and raised floors or above-ceiling spaces were used in lieu of site cast concrete walls and floor slabs with varied pipes.

This paper proposes an automatic generation technology of test case based on API in source code for software's quality improvement. The proposed technology is comprised of four processes which are analyzing source code by using the Doxygen open source tool, defining API specification by using analyzed results, creating test design, generating a test case by adapting Pairwise test technology. Analyzing source code by using the Doxygen open source tool is the phase in which API information in source code such as the API name, input parameter and return parameter are extracted. Defined API specification by using analyzed results is the phase where API informations, which is needed to generate test case, are defined as a form of database by SQLite database on the basis of extracted API information. Creating test design is the phase in which the scenario is designed in order to be composed as database by defining threshold of input and return parameters and setting limitations based on the defined API. Generating a test case by adapting Pairwise test technique is the phase where real test cases are created and changed into database by adapting Pairwise technique on the base of test design information. To evaluate the efficiency of proposed technology, the research was conducted by begin compared to specification based test case creation. The result shows wider test coverage which means the more cases were created in the similar duration of time. The reduction of manpower and time for developing products is expected by changing the process of quality improving in software developing from man-powered handwork system into automatic test case generation based on API of source code.
