계층적 베이지안 혼합 효과 모델을 사용한 비동차 마코프 체인의 분석 (Bayesian Hierarchical Mixed Effects Analysis of Time Non-Homogeneous Markov Chains)

  • 본 연구에서는 비동차 마코프 체인에서 개체들의 전이 행태를 분석하기 위한 계층적 베이지안 방법론을 사용하여 혼합 효과 모델을 소개 하였다. 모델의 모수들에 대한 사후분포가 분석적으로 구해질 수 없는 형태를 가지기 때문에 깁스(Gibbs) 샘플링 시뮬레이션 방법을 사용하여 조건부 사후확률로부터 샘플이 추출되었고, 실제 자료분석을 예를 사용하였다.

  • 세계각국에서는 원류의 소비절약과 대체연료의 개발에 발차를 기하는 등 유류파동에 휘말리지 않 으려고 노력하고 있다. 그러한 노력의 일찬으로 기존기한을 크게 개조 및 수정하지 않는 범위 에서 메타놀 등의 알콜류에 대한 연국가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그 예로서 가솔린에 10-20%의 알콜을 혼합하면 안티노크성이 증가되고 기관의 운전이 원활하다는 것이 오래전부터 알려져 있 었다. 자동차의 배출가스문제가 제기되면서 이와 같은 종류으 혼합연료를 배기대책에 이용하는 것이 검토되었다. 더욱이 가솔린이나 경유에 알콜 등의 함산소화합물, 기타 첨가제를 혼합하여 연소를 개신하고 배출가스를 저장하는 가능성에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되었다. 지금까지의 연 구에서는 알콜, 에테르 등 항산소화합물의 일부가 적당하게 이용됨에 따라 순수가 솔린만을 사 용하는 것 보다도 배출가스의 점에서 유리하다고 알려졌다. 또 최근에는 석유자원을 절약하는 보조연료로서 또 장래의 대체연료로서 그 평가의 관점이 바뀌고 있다.

메탄올 혼합 연료의 기화율 변화에 따른 연소특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Study on the Combustion Characteristics according to Evaporation rate of Methanol - Blended Fuel)

  • This paper describes the investigation of combustion characteristics of gasoline-methanol blend in constant volume combustion chamber. A constant volume combustion chamber was used to elucidate a basic combustion characteristics and the premixer was installed to control temperature and equivalence ratio. And the maximum pressure, combustion duration and flame propagation according to the evaporation rate were measured to determine the optimal temperature range for evaporating a blend fuel. These experimental results indicate that the combustion characteristics such as combustion chamber pressure and combustion were deteriorated by decreasing surrounding temperature of fuel. These experimental results indicate that the combustion characteristics such as combustion chamber pressure and combustion were deter orated by decreasing surrounding temperature of fuel injected. It was also found that the overall gasification process for methanol blend fuel was influenced by a combustion chamber temperature rather than a premixer temperature.

  • 조건을 나타내는 독립변수들을 어떻게 제어함으로써 우리가 관찰하는 값을 우리가 목적하고 있는 값에 가깝게 얻을 수 있는지를 연구하는 혼합모형의 통계적 제어문제를 처리하기 위한 방법에 대해서 고찰하였다. 기존 이론이 반응변수가 하나인 경우와 분산을 아는 것으로 가정한 경우를 해결한 것을 주목하고 미리 아는 것으로 가정한 분산을 사전분포를 따르는 변수로 보며, 반응변수를 두 개 이상으로 확장하여 다변량 선형모형을 설정하여 다변량 혼합모형에서의 베이지안 처리방법을 예와 함께 제시하였다.

  • In recent years, there has been an interest in early-injection diesel engines as it has the potential of achieving a more homogeneous and leaner mixture close to TDC compared to standard diesel engine. The more homogeneous mixture may result in reduced NOx and soot emissions and higher efficiency in homogeneous charge compression ignition engines. While earlier studies have shown that a reduction in NOx emissions from HCCI engine is possible, there are some significant problems including the control of ignition timing and combustion rate. In order to investigate the effect of EGR and hydrogen enriched gas on combustion characteristics and emissions, an experiments with single cylinder CRDi engine were carried out concerning the formation of various premixed charge, which can achieved by early injection, EGR and hydrogen enriched gas. EGR was not effective to further reduce NOx and PM emissions. It was found that NOx emissions were decreased with an introduction of hydrogen enriched gas and an adequate diesel fuel amount.

OH PLIF를 이용한 부분 예혼합 화염의 화염구조에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Flame Structure of Partially Premixed Flame using OH PLIF)

  • OH radical concentration have been measured in a methane-air partially premixed flames using PLIF. Excitation lines were selected $Q_{1}(6)$ branch, (1,0) band. The system is consisted of Nd:YAG laser, dye laser and frequency doubler to make pump beam for OH radical. On the direct photographs, flame height increases as fuel flow rate and equivalence ratio increase. And on the PLIF images, OH radical is distributed from premixed flame front to nonpremixed flame front through the flame structure with all equivalence ratio. OH overall concentrations increase with equivalence ratio. At the stoichiometric equivalence ratio, the peak of OH radical concentration exists strongly near the inner cone. As equivalence ratio is changed to richer, OH radical distribution goes thinly and the peak is increased as longitudinal direction. As the flow goes to the downstream, OH radical concentration decreases and broadens, because OH radical reacts with another species after OH formation at the initial oxidization. This phenomenon resembles radial distribution. At the l00cc fuel flowrate, the radial peak of OH radical exists from x/R=l.0 to 1.5.

  • The performance in the practical combustion system including reciprocating engines and gas turbine combustors is being much governed by turbulent reacting flow that is often analyzed by both a laminar flamelets concept and flame interaction. The characteristics of laminar flame interaction have been investigated numerically to provide basic understanding of wrinkled turbulent flames under concentration interaction resulting from inhomogeneity in fuel-air mixing, especially focused on the transition of flame characteristics such as diffusion flame, partially premixed diffusion flame, and triple-layer flame by the variation in the degree of premixedness. The extinction stretch rates to the premixedness have also been obtained in this paper. The boundary defining the regime of the existence of triple-layer flames as functions of both stretch rate and premixedness has been determined which agrees well with previously reported experiment measuring OH radical concentration peaks based on PLIF.

가솔린 예혼합 압축 착화 엔진의 농후 한계에서 연소와 노킹 특성 (Knocking and Combustion Characteristics at Rich Limit of Gasoline HCCI Engine)

  • Variable valve timing is one of the attractive ways to control homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) engine. Hot internal residual gas which can be controlled by variable valve timing(VVT) device, makes fuel evaporated easily, and ignition timing advanced. Regular gasoline was used as main fuel and di-methyl ether(DME) was used as ignition promoter in this research. HCCI engine operating range is limited by high combustion peak pressure and engine noise. High combustion pressure can damage the engine during operation. To avoid engine damage, the rich limits have to define using various methods. Peak combustion pressure, rate of cylinder pressure rise was considered to determine rich limit of engine operating range. Knock probability was correlated with the rate of cylinder pressure rise as well as the peak combustion pressure.

평면예혼합화염중의 N2O 농도변화에 관한 실험연구 (An Experimental Study of N2O Concentration Profiles in Planner Premixed Flame)

  • The Marine Environment Protection Committee(MEPC) which is the IMO's specialized committee on marine pollution related matters deals with GHG related issues to discuss and compile possible approaches on technical, operational and market based measures to address GHG emissions from ships. The nitrous oxide($N_2O$) which remains generally in the atmosphere for around 114 years is one of the green house gases. The global warming potential of $N_2O$ is 310 times than $CO_2$ in the given period 100 years. It seems that the $N_2O$ formation is influenced by the nitrogen compound contained in the fuel which is named as "Fuel N" during the combustion process or the NOx, SOx and $H_2O$ through the emission gases before exhausted into the atmosphere. This paper has carried out an experimental study of the $N_2O$ concentration profiles by the change of $NH_3$ flows in the planner premixed combustion with using $C_3H_8$ and air.

메탄/공기 예혼합화염에서의 수소첨가에 의한 소염 및 $NO_x$ 발생특성에 관한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of the Extinction and $NO_x$ Emission in Methane/Air Premixed Flame by Hydrogen Addition)

  • Lean premixed combustion is a well known method for low $NO_x$ gas turbine combustor. But lean combustion is usually accompanied by flame instability. To overcome this problem, the hydrogen ($H_2$) was added to main fuel methane to increase flammable limit. In this paper, the effects of hydrogen addition on lean premixed combustion of methane ($CH_4$) were investigated numerically. Results showed that the extinction stretch rate increases and the extinction temperature constant with relatively small amount of $H_2$ addition. The flame temperature and NO emission increase with $H_2$ addition at the same stretch rate and equivalence ratio but it could increase the range of lean extinction and extinction equivalence ratio limit. Eventually, the $H_2$ addition case showed almost same or lower NO emission than no addictive $CH_4$ case in the extinction condition.
