A Study on the Development of a Construction Field Management Model based on BIM (BIM기반 건설현장 관리모델 개발에 관한 연구)

  • As the amount of construction information used in the growing construction field increases, the importance of efficient construction field management has been growing. Accordingly, this study aims to identifythe application situation and possibility of BIM through theoretical examinations and domestic & overseas case studies of BIM, and attempts to suggest an approach to the formulation of an efficient construction field management model through the implementation of phase-oriented and cooperation entity-oriented analysis in the construction field. In the future, the conclusions of this study should be used to formulate an actual construction field management model and apply it in the field.

Design of The Geographic Information Database Structure for Census Mapping (센서스 지도제작을 위한 지리정보데이타베이스 구조연구)

  • In order to minimize vectorizing tasks, which require huge reso¬urces and time and to support the census mapping effectively, the geographic information databases structure has been studied. The steps of the new approach are as follows. : Step 1, Scanning the maps of the whole country and storing the image data in raster format. Step 2, Vectorizing the data of specific items for Census operation such as Enume¬ration District, and then linking to attribute data in the text format. Step 3, Designing the database with a Tile and Multi-layer structure to make a continuous map logically. Step 4, Implement Censlls Mapping System(CMS) for efficient mapping and retrieving. As a consequence of this study, the cost, manpower and time effectiveness was proved and it was confirmed to produce lIseful and high-qual ified maps for the Census. In the future, this system wi II be able to provide many organizations and individuals with the various data based on geographical statistical information.

A Plan for Building up the Rational Defense Acquisition System (합리적 국방획득체계 구축을 위한 방안)

  • This paper examines several inefficient problems generated from a management process of defense acquisition system, and suggests several alternatives to remedy the current acquisition-related problems. This might help MND to reform the current DAPA's acquisition system. The offered elements are to, first, redefine function of mid-term plan & budget allocation between MND and DAPA, second, devise economic acquisition management and force development to build integrated management system of requirement-acquisition-operation & maintenance, third, build Workforce Management Act(WMA) and Professional Education System(PES) for strengthening expertise and institutionalizing manpower rotation of requirements & acquisition-related fields, fourth, implement weapon systems' Total Life Cycle Systems Management(TLCSM) and improve developmental & operational test and evaluation. These are essential elements in minimizing confusion & conflict emanating from surrounding acquisition program among MND-DAPA-Each Services.

  • Ministry of construction and transportation has been enforcing extensionally design phase VE(Value Engineering) to the construction costing more than 10 billion won, an importance of design phase VE accordingly is raising to get rid of a waste of cost and noneffective factors previously in construction projects. Although there are legal supports and technical effects, an effect about an introduction of design phase VE can not be applied properly because of several problems at the process. So, in this study, present competency factors of design phase VE to highly raise the output through organizing an effective team at the beginning stage of design phase VE. Find out 29 competency factors through characteristics of design VE team for the check list, classify by team knowledge, team work skill, and team attitude. Get an efficiency regarding importance and find out Competency Evaluation items of design VE team, present a Competency Evaluation plan for indicating an objective standard to Competency Evaluation by measuring relative importance as to each Competency Evaluation item.

  • Value Engineering(VE) is being applied as an useful tool to eliminate the waste of cost and noneffective factors previously in construction projects. Ministry of construction and transportation' has been accordingly enforcing extensionally design phase VE to the construction costing more than 10 billion won, an importance of design phase VE. Although there are legal supports and technical effects, an effect about an introduction of design phase VE can not be applied properly because of several problems at the process. So, in this study, try to find out competency factors of design phase VE to enforce a competency of VE team as a basic database for developing a check list, and estimate weight. For the result, find out a competency evaluation item and organize as a team knowledge, a team work skill and a team attitude. Perform a first survey to verify a reliability and propriety regarding the found competency evaluation, perform the second survey competency as to evaluation item of the found 1, 2, 3 class and then estimate the weight by AHP.

  • Nowadays, as IT environment is changing rapidly, traditional infra system such as hardware, software, and development methodology are changing as well. Legacy system has been filled with Intellectual property such as invested budget and development period for the time of IT is developing. Many countries around the world are having troubles with how to manage the legacy system. It is time to study on a development method and the implementation of supporting tool to reuse or process the legacy system. In this paper, it proves the definition, concept and also background of legacy system by showing real market and technology trend. Developed to handle the concrete development methodology, procedure and reference. We can get more profitability and productivity advance by reuse of legacy system and maintenance cost-saving through legacy migration.

  • Simulation system was introduced and used a lot in the fields of aviation, vessel, and medical treatment. 3D Simulation system has been used quite insufficiently as it requires a lot of system resource and huge amount of computer calculation. As the graphic card performance and simulation function developed, however, PC based simulation has been activated and is verified of its possibility as an educational software. However, educational institutions need to invest huge amount of budget and manpower to purchase and maintain CT Equipment. For such a reason, educational institutions entrust their students to hospitals for indirect experience of operation or for mere observation. This study, therefore, developed a CT Virtual reality education system with which medical CT Equipment can be directly operated in PC based 3D Virtual environment.

  • 이상에서 소개된 정보통신부 리눅스 활성화 방안을 요약하면 다음과 같다.1991년 개발된 리눅스가 최근 저비용 고효율 안정성 등의 여러가지 이점 때문에 대표적인 PC서버용 운영체제로 부각되고 있다. IBM, Intel, Sun 등 세계적인 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 업체들이 공식적으로 리눅스 지원을 시작하면서 Windows NT에 대적하는 새로운 서버 운영체제로 부각되었고, 이에 따라 다른 여러 업체들도 리눅스 시장을 선점하기 위해 활발한 개발활동을 전개하고 있다. 본 활성화 방안은 국내에서 리눅스 활성화를 통해 다음의 목표를 달성하기 위해 마련되었다. 추진목표는 첫째, 저가격 고성능의 리눅스를 이용한 PC 보급 확산으로 인터넷 이용환경 구축 예산을 절감하고 교육정보화 등 정보화사업에 리눅스 적용을 통해 국민의 보편적 이용환경을 조성하는 데 있고, 둘째, 리눅스 기반기술 개발을 통해 소프트웨어 기술을 국제수준으로 향상시키고, 셋째, 리눅스의 보급 활성화를 통한 국내 소프트웨어 산업을 육성하는 데 있다. 구체적 추진전략은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 리눅스 한글환경 표준화 및 리눅스 기반기술 개발 등과 같은 원활한 리눅스 보급을 위한 연구개발을 추진한다. 둘째, 리눅스 환경하의 다양한 응용 개발 촉진체계를 구축한다. 셋째, 공공분야에 대한 리눅스 보급을 추진한다. 셋째, 공공분야에 대한 리눅스 보급을 추진한다. 정보화사업 추진 시 리눅스 활용을 적극 추진하고 교육정보화 사업의 기본장비로 활용하는 시범사업을 추진한다. 또한 산 학 연의 리눅스 전문가들로 리눅스 협의회를 구성하여 리눅스 보급 확산을 위한 활동을 추진하게 될 것이다. 이 과정에서 기업들의 요구사항 및 이용활성화에 대해서 협의가 이루어질 것이다. 새 천년에는 시작부터 국가간에 치열한 정보화 경쟁이 있을 것이다. 정보화 환경이 얼마나 저비용 고효율으로 잘 구축되었느냐, 그리고 정보화 인력을 얼마나 갖고 있느냐가 그러한 국제사회에서의 경쟁력을 좌우하게 될 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 리눅스의 활성화는 매우 중요하다. 본 활성화 방안이 성공적으로 수행되어 우리나라가 아시아의 리눅스 메카로 떠올라 새천년에 우리나라가 정보화 선진국에 진입하도록 정부에서는 최대의 노력을 기울일 방침이다.

  • This study aims at identifying the development strategies for capacity building of intermediary agencies from the survey and analysis of intermediary agencies in the private sector which play an important role in the economic development of Chungnam province. From the review of the literature, we defined the concept of intermediaries as an institute or program which builds and maintains the proper relationship among the various actors. In order to determine the current situation of intermediary agencies and their roles in Chungnam province, we selected nine private industrial institutes and carried out a questionnaire and interview survey. It was identified that they have very limited knowledge of the role of intermediaries, while mainly focusing on the traditional function of lobbying groups. Therefore, a policy needs be developed to allow them to participate in regional development projects, in order to improve their capability to facilitate network activities for regional economic development.

  • Modernization projects are actively underway to replace conventional logistics equipment for the development of the 21st century logistics management system. The modernized logistics system is expected to expand to each troops on future. In this paper, we deal with simulation of automated logistics center to analyse the current system. Especially, the alternative to the same scale is designed based on needs of military distinctiveness. As a result, it can be effectively compared the current system. The result obtained in this design process is comprehensively analyzed by the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The proposed method in this study is allowed to cost-effectively evaluate current and future automated logistics center. And, that is expected to contribute to modernization projects of the military logistics system.
