본 논문에서는 한국전자통신연구원 가상현실연구개발센터에서 개발한 MPEC-2 비트스트림 편집 시스템인 솔거(Solger)를 중심으로 기술하였다. 압축 영역인 비트스트림의 편집은 저장공간의 절약, 신속한 편집 및 비트스트림 화질의 열화를 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 컨텐트의 효율적인 이용을 위한 필수 기술인 디지털 컨텐트 비선형 편집 기술에 관련된 편집, 시각특수효과, 전환효과,MPEG-2codec, 음향효과, 영상합성, 타이틀링 등에 대하여 살펴보기로 한다.

수치정사사진지도를 제작하기 위한 기반 자료로 스캐닝한 수치항공사진영상과 항공사진의 왜곡 보정을 위한 표정, DEM의 추출과 편집 및 편위 수정에 이르기까지 다양한 처리절차가 필요하다. 또한 영상과 벡티 자료의 중첩을 통해 생선한 영상지도의 편집과 지도제작 작업에는 다양한 미적 요소가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 수치항공사진 영상을 이용하여, 영상에 내포하는 기하학적 변위를 3차원 모델링 결과와 수치표고모델을 이용하여 소거하고, 수치정사사진을 제작한 후에, 1/5,000 수치지도에서 필요한 레이어와 중첩시킨 수치정사사진지도를 제작하여 그 정확도를 분석하였으며, 각 처리 단계별 문제점의 분석과 개선방안을 제시하였다.

In a recent year, the broadcasting system has been changed from analogue to digital all over the world, not just in Korea, and Korea aims at accomplishing 100% digital broadcasting by 2013. The HD(High Definition) Video Format, which currently plays a key role in digital broadcasting system, has been gradually extended in the field of broadcasting and movie. Additionally, many kinds of camcoders and editing systems have been rapidly converted into the digital types, and they are supporting to photograph and video editing systems with the various types of image formats such as SD(Standard Definition) format, HD format, 2K, 4K, etc. Tape Video Storage System, which has been usually used in the stage of photographing by this day, is gradually evolving into Tapeless Video Data Storage System. Thus in this study, Video Compression method of HD format photographed by Sony PMW-EX3, one of major tapeless camcoders, is studied and also the way of applying it effectively in Avid Media Composer, a non-linear editing system, is discussed.

In this paper, we developed an Android application named VIVID where users can edit the moving captions easily on smartphone videos. This makes it convenient to set the time range, text, location and motion of caption text on the video. The editing result is uploaded to web server in html and can be shared with other users.

본 논문에서는 비디오 카메라를 이용하여 촬영한 영상신호의 편집 시스템과 편집 방법, 그리고 효율적인 영상 관리를 수행하는 영상 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 아날로그 비디오 카메라로 촬영한 아날로그 비디오 신호 또는 디지털 비디오 카메라로 촬영한 디지털 비디오 신호를 컴퓨터 시스템을 이용하여 볼 수 있는 비디오 스트림 데이터로 변환시킨다. 컴퓨터 시스템에 구비된 사용자 인터페이스를 이용하여 입력되는 사용자의 요구에 따라 변환된 비디오 스트림 데이터를 내용 또는 일자별로 인덱스화하여 저장하며 사용자가 인덱스 정보를 이용하여 비디오 스트림 데이터들을 검색하고 편집한다.

영화에서의 표현 방식은 매우 중요한다. 하나의 이야기가 편집 기법을 통해 상반된 내용으로 바뀔 수도 있기 때문이다. 때문에 편집 기법은 점점 정교해지고 있으며, 이에 따라 영화 예술도 추동되고 있다. 연구자는 영화의 연출과 구성, 리듬과 몽타주 등의 기법을 분석하여 편집이 영화에 끼치는 영향에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 그럼으로써 편집 기법과 영화의 상호성에 대한 체계화에 기여하고자 한다.

동영상 데이터가 갖는 복잡하고 다양한 관계성 때문에 기존의 키워드 기반 정보 검색 방법에는 한계가 있으면 비디오 내용에 기반해 검색을 하는 내용기반 검색기법이 요구된다. 현재 MPEG-7에서도 비디오 내용 표현 방식에 관한 국제 표준화 작업이 시작되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상정보와 음성정보를 사용해 비디오의 원하는 부분을 내용에 기반해 검색할 수 있는 비디오 편집 및 검색 시스템을 개발하였다.
