An existing unit of power plant is considered to refurbish it for possible application of carbon capture and storage(CCS). Conceptual design of the plant includes basic considerations on the national and international situation of energy use, environmental concerns, required budget, and time schedule as well as the engineering concept of the plant. While major equipment of the recently upgraded power plant is going to be reused, a new boiler for air-oxy fired dual mode operation is to be designed. Cryogenic air separation unit is considered for optimized capacity, and combustion system accommodates flue gas recirculation with multiple cleaning and humidity removal units. The flue gas is purified for carbon dioxide separation and treatment. This paper presents the background of the project, participants, and industrial background. Proposed concept of the plant operation is discussed for the possible considerations on the engineering designs.

본 연구에서는 지리정보시스템(GIS)을 이용하여 철도 연변 낙석, 산사태 관련 공간정보를 검색 및 출력 등 관리할 수 있는 정보시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 전국 철도 노선 중 낙석 및 산사태 발생 가능성이 높은 경춘선, 영동선, 중앙선, 태백선, 정선선의 2.5km 혹은 5km 반경 지역에 대해 철도 관련 정보, 각종 지도 관련 정보, 지형분석 정보, 수문기상 정보, 현장 조사된 낙석 관련 정보 등 각종 공간 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 그리고 구축된 공간 데이터베이스를 관리하는 철도 연변 낙석, 산사태 정보시스템을 개발하였다. 본 정보시스템은 보기환경, 테이블환경, 차트환경, 레이아웃환경, 프로젝트환경 등 5개로 구성되어 있다. 본 정보시스템의 기능은 구축된 공간 데이터베이스를 입력, 검색, 출력 뿐 아니라 자료 변환, 자료 및 범례 편집, 라벨 생성, 화면 확대, 축소, 지도 작성, 그림 편집, 문자 DB 관리, 차트작성, 도움말 등 다양하다. 본 정보시스템은 ArcView의 스크립트 언어인 Avenue를 이용하여 개발되었고 풀다운 메뉴 및 아이콘 방식을 채택하여 사용자가 사용하기 쉽게 개발되었다. 구축된 공간 데이터베이스와 개발된 정보시스템은 낙석 및 산사태 관리 및 분석을 위한 기본 자료 및 도구로 사용될 수 있다.

인간 게놈프로젝트가 거의 완성되어 감에 따라서 해독된 유전자의 암호를 바탕으로 기능을 밝히는 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 그중에서 디스플레이 프로테오믹스에 관한 연구가 주목을 받으면서, 세계적으로 2-DE 데이터베이스가 많이 구축되었다. 이 데이터베이스를 구축하기 위해서는 자동화된 구축도구가 필요한데, 이 도구를 개발하기 위해서는 데이터베이스 통합이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 생물학적 실험을 통하여 얻어진 펩티드 질량으로써, 다수의 펩티드 질량검색기를 통합하여 자동으로 단백질을 인식하고, 인식된 단백질에 대한 정보를 제공하는 다수의 프로테옴 관련 데이터베이스의 통합을 통해서 2-DE 데이터베이스를 자동으로 구축하는 도구와 데이터베이스 구축결과를 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop rail rockfall and landslide information system to manage spatial database using GIS. For this, a spatial database containing information such as railroad, map, topographic analysis, meteorological data, and rockfall has been constructed for 2.5 km or 5 km buffer zone from the Kyungchun, Youngdong, Jungang, Taebak and Jungsun Rairoad where risk of landslide occurrence potential is high. For management of the spatial database, railroad rockfall and landslide information system has been developed. The information system consists of view, table, chart, layout and project environment. The functions provided in the system are data conversion, editing, labeling, zoom in and out, map making, graphic editing, text DB management, charting, on-line help as well as input, retrieve and output of spatial database. The system was developed using ArcView script language Avenue, and consisted of pull-down menus and icons for easy use. The spatial database and the information system can be used to rockfall and landslide management and analysis near the railroad as basic data and tool.

As youth employment has become a social issue every year, the government is pushing for policies to support youth start-ups to create jobs voluntarily as a way to enhance the youth employment rate. In the case of young people in Gangwon Province, the number of people moving to other regions is increasing. This research is intended to empirically analyze the actual achievements of youth start-ups through the 'Youth Start-up Project' in Gangwon-do. It was divided into four categories: participation in government support, education completion, intellectual property right retention, and certification retention, which are characteristics of start-up companies, and hypotheses that they will have a positive impact on start-up performance (sales amount, duration of existence, or whether they are retained or not). Age and geographical factors (Yeongdong and Yeongseo) were injected as control variables to see how they affect them. Furthermore, empirical analysis was conducted by setting up a hypothesis that the characteristics of start-up companies and subsequent support between start-up performance would have a positive intermediary effect. The research results showed that the remaining characteristics, except for education completion, had a positive impact on sales, and that the more participation in government projects, the longer the duration of the company's existence. In addition, the level of participation in government support projects was significant in the direction of the government. The analysis results of the parameter, follow-up support, had a positive impact on the start-up performance, and the subsequent support mediating effect showed the mediating effect of the start-up performance, except for geographical factors. The results of this study suggest the need for customized support suitable for the characteristics of youth start-ups in order to enhance the performance of young start-ups. Support agencies need to refer to corporate characteristics for smooth management and selection. In the Gangwon-do area, the government should seek to provide timely and organic support for start-up companies in order to produce successful start-up cases.
