인터넷 붐을 타고 현재 WWW은 수많은 자료를 인터넷상에 축적했다. 단순히 www의 페이지만을 따져도 수 많은 페이지를 가지고 있고, 이제는 Gopher, Ftp, News group 또한 WWW 인터페이스를 통해 엑세스가 가능하다. 이러한 수많은 자료가 웹상에서 링크로 연결되어 있다. 자료가 늘어날수록 이러한 링크 또한 늘어난다. 이런 환경에서 전통적인 입력 장치인 마우스와 키보드와 더불어 Voice를 통한 Nevigating을 제공함으로써 좀 더 용이한 WWW의 사용을 제공하고자 음성지원 Web Browser를 설계하고자 한다.

Extensible Mark-up Language(XML) 문서의 활용범위가 넓어지고 수요가 크게 늘어날 것으로 예상됨에 따라서 XML 문서에 관련된 애플리케이션이 요구되는 현실에 입각해서, XML문서를 브라우징 할 수 있는 기반 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 연구에서는 XML의 변형된 문서의 브라우저와 달리 순수한 XML 문서를 브라우징 하도록 함으로서 일반사용자에게 텍스트 형태의 문서를 시각화 해서 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. XML 문서의 브라우징을 위한 문서 처리, Stylesheet 처리 Layout 처리, User Interface 처리 등의 필수적인 부분들을 처리하도록 하였다. 결과로서 XSL 처리 기술과 XML 브라우저 제작에 관한 기반 기술을 확보할 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 고장 데이터가 극히 적은 상황에서도 다수의 동일부품이 사용되는 경우에는 중단자료를 활용하여 최우추정법으로 고장수명분포를 추정할 수 있음을 입증한다. 부품의 수명분포로 와이블분포를 사용하며 모수의 최우추정치를 구하는 비교적 단순한 방법을 제시한다. 또한, 향후 주어진 기간동안 필요로 하는 적정 예비품수를 결정하는 확률적 방안을 제안한다 그리고 이와같은 방법을 포항방사광가속기의 주요부품인 광자막이와 수냉플랜지에 적용한 사례를 소개한다.

We are concerned in the estimation of lifetime distribution of a component having a few observed failure data and we demonstrate that we can use the maximum likelihood estimation utilizing the censored data when the number of components in use is quite large. Weibull distribution is assumed for the lifetime and a simple estimation procedure is introduced. We also propose the method of determining the optimal number of spares required for a specified period without introducing cost functions. The proposed methods are applied to the photon stop and the water-cooled flange which are major components in Pohang Light Source.

The histological responses of the flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus to copper were examined in the gill, hepatopancreas and kidney. In control group, from 5 weeks mucous cells and chloride cells were increased in the gill, and numerous hemocytes and some melano-macrophagocytes were observed in the hepatopancreas and kidney. The minimum concentration for histological responses was 0.05mg/$\ell$/7d. In this group gill and hepatopancreas showed chloride cell activation, hepatocyte activation, pancreatic zymogen reduction, and congestion, and melanomacrophagocytes were observed in the kidney. From the histological observations, the critical concentrations for dysfunctionality were 0.18mg/$\ell$/21d in the gill, 0.18mg/$\ell$/14d in the hepatopancreas and 0.08mg/$\ell$/14d in the kidney, respectively.

The structure of integumentary epidermis is studied in the bastard halibut, Paralichthys olivaceus based on the light and transmission electron microscope. Epidermal layer consists of supporting cells, unicellular glands and accessory cells. The supporting cells were classified into superficial cell, intermediated cell and basal cell. Superficial cell of epidermal layer is squamous or cuboidal and the surface is covered with numerous microridges. The supporting cells are connected to another cell with membrane interdigitations and desmosmes. And tonofilaments are developed in the cortical cytoplasm. Gland cells are classified into mucous cell and club cell. By the histochemical studies of the epidermal secretions the mucous materials are identified as neutral polysaccharides. Club cell has numerous vacuoles and microfilaments in the cytoplasm. Also chloride cells are observed in the epidermis, it cytoplasm is occupied numerous mitochondria.

This study is observed the skin of the parrot fish, Oplegnathus fasciatus that related study of epidermal alternation with environmental and physiological change. It composed of supporting cells, unicellular glands and accessory cells. The supporting cells are classified into superficial cell, intermediated cell and basal cell. Superficial cell of epidermal layer is squamous or cuboidal and contain nucleus of ovoid type. And its free surface has many microridge which covered with glycocalyx. Intermediated cell is ovoid and has a nucleus of round shape. Basal cell is columnar, and nucleus is situated in the upper cytoplasm. Gland cells are classified into mucous cell and club cell. By the histochemical studies of the epidermal secretions the mucous materials react on blue in ABPAS (pH 2.5). Club cell is observed numerous vacuoles and microfilaments in the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm of chloride cells are occupied with numerous mitochondria. Pigment cells are classified into two type. The one contain pigment granules of electron dense, and the other contain reflecting platelets.
