  • The development of Electromagnetic Communication technology have made our life abundant. However, the countermeasure of EMI(Electromagnetic Interference) are more important socially as increase of a main cause on electromagnetic waves occurrence. It is required that the absorbing ability of an electromagnetic wave absorber is above 20 dB, the bandwidth of which is required from 30 MHz to 1,000 MHz for satisfying the international standard about EMI and also will be required from 30 MHz up to 5,000 MHz in the bandwidth. In this paper, we proposed the square projection type absorber satisfying the above requirements and carried out broadband design using the equivalent material constants method.

  • In this study, it was investigated fire resistance properties of high strength concrete column using Engineered Cementitious Composites(ECC) permanent form as a countermeasure for explosive spalling of concrete on fire. As a test result, it was appeared that ECC permanent form is available as fire resistance method of high strength concrete if it is developed manufacturing technique and scheme for application controlling heat penetration through interface of permanent form and high strength concrete, and setting up mix proportion and thickness of ECC.

A Convergent Investigation on Thermal Stress Analysis due to Piston Head Shape (피스톤 헤드의 형상에 따른 열응력 해석에 관한 융합 연구)

  • In this study, thermal stress analysis by shape of piston head was conducted to investigate the shape of a durable piston. As the result, the farther the temperature is from the part where the temperature is applied, the lower the temperature can be seen. Depending on the shape of the piston head, the heated area became different. So, it could be seen that it affected the piston column part and the skirt part. This study showed that three models produced the least stress from the center of the piston head in the same way. Model A showed the smallest stress resulting in the yield compared to the other two models. Model B is a plate type piston head with a concave shape of the piston head, indicating that it is the model that has the least effect on the surrounding area at the center of the piston head. Model C showed the greatest stress resulting from the yield. The results of this study are also thought to be useful for designing the shape of durable pistons. By utilizing the thermal stress analysis due to piston head shape, this study is thought to conform with the aesthetic design.

Development of Raising Device for Greenhouse Column Using a Pneumatic Cylinder (공압실린더를 이용한 온실기둥 상승장치 개발)

  • As many consumers prefer good quality food, farms have used various facilities to cultivate products for satisfying their desires. Among them, the most representative facilities are plastic and glass multi-span greenhouse. The height of both plastic greenhouse and glass greenhouse is around three meters high in Korea. As a result, the crop productivity is limited. The solution is to increase the height of the greenhouses to improve the greenhouses' environment. The device for raising columns consists of a stop device, a pneumatic cylinder, and a vertical member. Pneumatic cylinders were designed with a diameter of 160 mm and a stroke length of 50 mm, taking into consideration the safety factor of 1.5. In addition, the air flow was controlled by nozzle to achieve a time of less than 30 seconds per stroke. It was calculated that $21.5L{\cdot}min^{-1}$ of air was needed to complete in less than 30 seconds. Accordingly, the diameter of the nozzle is designed to be 0.5 mm. When the pressure was 0.9 MPa, the average raising force was 13,805N, which was close to the calculated value of 15,612N. The field test results show that any inconsistency in the row columns was not generated. and that it is considered applicable to the actual glass and plastic greenhouses.

Ultrastructure of the Gill of the Parrot fish, Oplegnathus fasciatus (돌돔 (Oplegnathus fasciatus) 아가미의 미세구조)

  • The ultrastructure of the gills of Oplegnathus fasciatus was examined by means of light and transmission electron microscopes. The gills have primary and secondary filaments (lamellae). The following cells are identified and described : epithelial cell, pillar cell, chloride cell and mucose cell. The simple epithelial layer consists of squamous epithelium containing a large nucleus and the surface is covered with some of microridges. The lamella pillar structures are characterized by axial microtubules and lateral membrane interdigitations. Chloride cells contain a lot of mitochondria and specifically developed tubular systems. The rough endoplasimic reticulum and golgi complex, and some of mucous granules were observed in immature mucous cells. The mature mucous cells were AB-PAS positive, globular in shape, and had mucous granules of similar size with various electron densities.

Hydrodynamic effects of heater lengths on pool boiling critical heat flux (히터 길이가 수조비등 임계열유속에 미치는 수력학적 영향)

  • In the study, pool boing critical heat flux (CHF) was experimentally investigated depending on the length of heaters. A smooth silicon oxide surfaces are used as the boiling surfaces. As the results of pool boiling experiments based on distilled water in ambient pressure condition, the CHF decreased as the length of the heater increased. By the high speed imaging, it was shown that the number of vapor columns increased as the length of the heater increased. Comparing the number of vapor columns and the CHF according to the heater length, the change in the CHF according to the heater length was analyzed based on the hydrodynamic instability.

  • 화재로 인한 건물의 화해 정도는 건축구조불의 안전성에 크게 영향을 미치게 된다. 특히, 철근 콘크리트 구조물이 화재로 인하여 고열을 받게되면, 그 구조적인 내력이 저하되므로, 이에 대한 안전성 검토는 매우 중요하다. 콘크리트의 고온성상은 시멘트의 종류, 골재의 석질. 배합, 함수율, 재령에 따라 달라진다. 또한, 화해를 입은 콘크리트조 건물은 수열조건에 따라 매우 복잡한 양상을 띄게된다. 일반적으로 화재 건물의 콘크리트 부재에서 나타나는 화해는 각 부재의 폭열 또는 콘크리트의 박리에 의한 주근의 노출 등 직접적인 손상과 보의 변형 기둥의 좌굴, 열팽창에 의한 전단균열 등의 2차 적인 피해가 있다. 그 화해 정도는 지진피해의 파괴현상과 유사한 경우도 있다. 이와 같이 콘크리트 부재의 화재 정도를 검토하기 위해서는 콘크리트의 고온성상 파악이 중요하다.(중략)

  • Recently, the low-emissivity glass has been used to reduce the energy loss through building windows. However, it simply reduces the inflow of solar rays and has a relatively high heat transmission coefficient. To solve the problems, a high-efficiency vacuum glazing has been under development but it has not been actively used due to its high price and insufficient performance. In this paper, the effects of internal pressure, pillar (spacer) height, pillar diameter, pillar interval, emissivity etc. on the performance of vacuum glazing have been analyzed with three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics and structural analysis. As a result, the performance of vacuum glazing was predicted more accurately and major factors that determine the performance of vacuum glazing were optimized.

  • 인구증가와 지속적인 산업발전으로 인하여 에너지 소비가 급증하게 되면서 효율적인 에너지 사용의 필요성이 크게 대두되었다. 특히 건물의 창문을 통해 많을 에너지 손실이 일어나 이를 해결하고자 현재 로우이(low-emissivity)유리를 사용하고 있으나 이는 태양광의 유입을 줄이는 단순한 방법으로 여전히 상대적으로 높은 열관류율을 갖고 있다. 이를 해결하고자 현재 단열성능이 좋은 고효율 진공유리가 개발 중이나 아직 가격 및 성능 등의 문제로 본격적인 보급은 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 내부압력, 지지기둥(spacer)의 길이 및 지름 등이 진공유리 성능에 미치는 영향을 3차원 수치해석을 통하여 알아보았다.
