전기화재(III) -전기기기의 출화요인과 감식-

  • 우리의 일상생활을 보다 편리하게 하여주는 전기기기가 급속히 보급함에 따라 이러한 기기의 수요는 날로 증대하고 있다. 한편 이러한 기기에 의한 전기화재도 기기의 구조와 경년열화, 공사, 작업이나 취급 등 각종 요인에 의해서 발생하고 있다. 여기에서는 우리가 접하게 되는 여러 전기기계기구 중 조명기구에서 백열전구, 가정용 전기기기중 전기다리미, 배선재료 중 전선과 개폐기, 그리고 주거생활이나 사무실 등에서 쓰이는 기기 중 냉난방기기를 대상으로 하여 출화요인과 감식요령에 대한 알아보기로 한다.

열사이클 열화에 따른 광유와 식물유의 절연파괴전압 분석

  • 송전 및 배전계통에 운영되고 있는 유입식 변압기는, 생분해성이 좋아 보다 더 친환경적인 식물성 절연유로 대체되어 가고 있으며, 미국등지에서는 이미 10여년 전부터 식물성 절연유를 사용한 변압기를 배전 및 송전 계통에 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 광유계 절연유를 대체하는 식물성 절연유를 사용한 배전급 변압기 및 기존의 광유계 절연유를 사용하는 동일한 용량의 배전급 변압기($1_{\phi}2010KVA$ 13200-230V)를 제작하여 열사이를 형태의 복합 열화를 시켜, 식물유 및 광유를 채취 분석하고 그 열화 기구를 연구하였다.

  • The relationship between the DC degradation characteristics of the ZnO varistor and the ambient sintering-process is investigated in this study. ZnO varistors made of Matsuoka's composition were fabricated by standard ceramic techniques. The ambient sintering-process is performed at the extraordinary electrical-furnace which is equipped with the vacuum system. The Gas of sintering process was oxygen, nitrogen, argon, air respectively. The microstructure of ZnO varistors be made use of SEM equipment. The condition of DC degradation tests were conducted at $115\pm2^{\circ}C$ for periods up to 13 h. Current-voltage analysis is used to determine nonlinear coefficients($\alpha$). Resistance-frequency and capacitance-frequency analysis are accomplished to the understanding of electrical properties as DC degradation test. From above analysis, it is found that the ZnO varistor sintered in oxygen atmosphere showed superior properties at the DC degradation test.

  • The objective of this paper is to demonstrate degradation phenomena through DC degradation tests and predicts degradation phenomena as a function of time from the tests. The ZnO varistor used in this investigation were fabricated by standard ceramic techniques. Especial, these were sintered in nitrogen atmosphere, at 2 h, for $1300^{\circ}C$. The conditions of DC degradation test were 115$\pm$$2^{\circ}C$for 0, 2, 4, and 8 h, respectively. To demonstrate the degradation phenomena of ZnO varistors, Voltagecurrent analyses were performed before and after the degradation test, and frequency analyses were used with the time of the degradation tests. It was found that the degradation occurred in not grain but grain boundary and the degradation behavior of varistors was unsymmetrically degraded with the direction of tests.

  • Material degradation of Cr steels in using for boiler tubes was studied in the relation of microstructural changes like carbide behavior and mechanical properties of hardness and creep-rupture life. The carbide dissolution was occurred in 2Cr steel of T22 during high temperature operation. And the grain refinement within martensite lath of 12Cr steel of X20 was derived by the high temperature-long time exposure. But the specific phenomena of material degradation which might be represented by hardness or creep-rupture time of the used tubes were not shown in all the tubes of T22 and X20 even in the fire-side using.

Estimation of Fracture Toughness Degradation of High Temperature Materials by Nonlinear Acoustic Effects (비선형 음향효과에 의한 고온 재료의 파괴인성 열화도 평가)

  • In order to develop an ultrasonic evaluation method for properties degradation of high temperature materials, a number of Cr-Mo-V steel samples were heat-treated and their damage mechanism was examined. Ultrasonic parameters such as velocity, attenuation, and more recently developed nonlinear acoustic parameter were measured. The nonlinear acoustic parameter was found to be most sensitive to material degradation mainly attributed to the precipitation of impurities in grain boundaries. When compared to the electrical resistivity results, the nonlinear parameters showed similar behavior. There existed a relatively good correlation between the nonlinear parameter and the fracture appearance transition temperature (FATT) obtained by Charpy V-notch impact test. Based on the relationship between the FATT and the fracture toughness ($K_{IC}$), correlation between the nonlinear parameter and $K_{IC}$ was established.

  • The five classes of the thermally aged CF8M specimen are prepared using an artificially accelerated aging method. Namely, after the specimens are held for 100, 300, 900, 1800, and 3600hrs at 430$^{\circ}C$ respectively, the specimens are water-cooled to room temperature. The impact energy variations are measures for both the aged and virgin specimens through the Charpy impact tests in addition to the microstructure observation, tensile, hardness and fatigue crack growth tests. From the present investigation the following results are obtained : 1) The difference among the thermally degraded specimens can be distinguished through their microstructures, 2) Hardness and tensile strength are increased to 300hrs, degradation specimen, while elongation and reduction area are decreased to 3600hrs degradation specimen, and impact energy is decreased to 1800hrs degradation specimen, 3) The FCG rates for thermally degraded specimens are larger than that of the virgin specimen.

Using XRD and SEM the phase and microstructure of samples were analyzed respectively. The conditions of DC degradation tests were conducted at 115$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$ for 13 h. Current-voltage analysis is used to determine nonlinear coefficients($\alpha$). Frequency analysis are performed to understand electrical properties as DC degradation test. From above analysis it is found that the ZnO varistor sintered in oxygen atmosphere showed superior properties at the DC degradation test and degradation phenomenon of ZnO varistor is caused by the change of electrical properties in grain boundary. These results are in accordance with Gupta’s degradation model.

  • This paper deals with an experirrental study of a nondestructive testing system using a solenoid eddy currnet sensor to inspect deteriorations in overhead distribution lines, such as broken wires, severe local corrosion or zinc loss. Corrosion rrechanisrn for ACSR and ACSR-OC is discussed and characteristics for a solenoid sensor to insprt the georretrical pararreters of the coil and testing materials impOOance are briefly analyzed. A measurement system having a constant current source, a signal processing unit and a motor driver is impIemented. This instrument has such capabilities as detecting the sensor output and estimating dinHlsions of the testing conductors, continuously. As a result, it was shown that the eddy current sensor with an encircling coil could effectively estimate the diatreter change due to deteriorations in overhead distribution lines. lines.

  • Due to the environmental regulations of the International Maritime Organization, shipyards are conducting various researches to improve the efficiency of ships, and efforts are being made to reduce the weight of ships. Recently, composite materials including CNT materials have the advantage of being able to reduce weight by 40% or more compared to general steel plate materials, and have the advantage of being able to be used as a substitute for ship clamps or door skins. Therefore, in this study, to predict the life of composite materials including CNT materials, the results were compared through the accelerated deterioration test method and the life prediction using machine learning techniques. The accelerated degradation test used the Arrhenius model equation, and the machine learning method predicted the life using a regression analysis algorithm.
