지상파 DMB 서비스가 본격적으로 시작되면서 각 서비스 사업별로 다양한 데이터 서비스를 통한 수익모델을 강구하고 있다. 지상파 DMB는 여타의 다른 디지털 방송 시스템에서와 같이 비디오 연동형 혹은 독립형의 데이터 서비스가 가능하며, 이동통신망, 와이브로 등의 무선통신망과 연동하여 다양한 양방향 데이터 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 자바 기반의 다운로드형 애플리케이션을 이용함으로써 플랫폼 독립적인 데이터 서비스를 제공하기 위해, 현재 국내 표준화 및 국제 표준화가 동시에 진행중인 지상파 DMB 미들웨어 기술에 대해 소개한다. 또한, 표준화중인 DMB 미들웨어가 제공할 수 있는 서비스의 특징과 이의 서비스 예를 간략히 소개한다.

As a representative of the convergence of broadcasting and communication, the data service provide viewers new services such as games, weather services, and stock trading services on TV. The data service, however, has failed to gain the popularity with the viewers due to the short of killer services and the dominating power of TV programs. The paper introduces an MHP-based method for semantically integrate a data service to a TV program by allowing the data service to utilize the content of the TV program, which changes as time goes on.

본 논문에서는 사물인터넷 서비스와 블록체인 플랫폼간의 연동을 위한 아키텍처를 제안한다. 블록체인은 다양한 산업분야에서 데이터 신뢰성 및 안전성 측면에서의 효율성을 제공한다. 반면에 데이터 쓰기 및 읽기에 대한 낮은 성능 때문에 실제 서비스 적용하기 어렵다. 특히 사물인터넷 서비스와 같은 다량의 데이터가 발생하는 분야에서는 블록체인을 실질적으로 적용하기 어렵지만, 사물인터넷은 프라이버시 및 데이터 보안 측면에서 많은 보안 문제를 야기할 수 있는 분야로써, 블록체인을 통한 데이터 추적 및 신뢰성 보안을 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같이 실시간성과 신뢰성을 보장하기 위한 사물인터넷 연동형 블록체인 플랫폼 아키텍처를 소개한다. 실시간성을 유지하기 위해서 단일 피어 검증을 통한 실시간 데이터 관리를 활용하며, 신뢰성 유지를 위해서 합의를 통한 분산원장을 활용한다. 단일 피어 검증 데이터는 합의 과정을 거치기 이전에 데이터를 수신받은 단일피어가 분산원장과 별도의 상태 데이터베이스를 통해 실시간 데이터를 저장하여 실시간 서비스에 제공한다.

유비쿼터스 건강관리를 가능하게 하는 U-health의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 다양한 U-health 서비스들이 개발, 제공 되고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 서비스들이 제한적이고 독립적으로 구성되어 있어서 다른 서비스와의 연동을 통한 폭넓은 서비스의 제공이 어렵다. 이러한 서비스 연동을 위해서는 U-health 데이터 및 단위 서비스를 체계적으로 관리하고, 맞춤형 U-health 서비스 개발에 필요한 단위 서비스 검색 방법이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 온톨로지를 이용하여 U-health 데이터 및 서비스들을 체계적으로 명세하고 관리하기 위한 방법과, 온톨로지 정보를 이용하여 의미적으로 서비스를 검색할 수 있도록 하는 서비스 브로커링 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 이를 활용해 스트레스 관리 U-health 서비스를 구축한 사례를 설명한다.

When implementing Enhanced TV services, the time synchronization between the video stream that forms the background and the data contents overlaid on audio/video is an important issue. Currently, however, the basic method of synchronizing the data in the MPEG-4 environment is based on absolute time values. For more efficient synchronization when developing Enhanced TV content, this paper proposes a content-based synchronization in which the data content varies depending on the video content. The proposed content-based synchronization method is implemented by defining BIFS nodes more widely, based on scene keywords, and then using the metadata of MPEG7.

현재 통신 시장의 패러다임이 음성 서비스 위주에서 IP 기반의 데이터 서비스 중심으로 변화하고, 개방화된 유무선 인터넷 서비스를 제공하려고 함에 따라 이동 통신망과 인터넷 망을 연동하는 개방형 유무선 게이트웨이는 필수적인 사항이 되었다. 이를 위해서 UMTS 이동 통신 시스템에서는 GGSN 이라는 개방형 유무선망 연동 게이트웨이를 제공하고 있다. UMTS 이동 통신 망에서는 무선 인터페이스를 통해 전달되는 IP 패킷을 위한 GPRS 망을 정의하고 있다. UMTS GPRS 망은 패킷 스위치 기능을 하는 SGSN 과 무선망과 인터넷망간에 연동을 위한 GGSN 을 중심 축으로 하여 구성되어 있으며, 이들간은 GTP 프로토콜를 이용하여 통신을 한다. 본 논문에서는 개방형 유무선 연동 게이트웨이인 GGSN 기능 구현을 위한 프래임웍 설계 및 구현에 관한 논문이다.

Because the movie has the characteristics of a cultural product where experience is important, a promotional strategy is used to convert viewers into movie audiences by providing indirect experiences of movies through professional movie information programs. Considering that the movie information program is a strategic publicity medium that raises the audience's intention to watch a movie, a study on the data service that provides useful additional information to the viewer in conjunction with the movie information program is meaningful. Against this background, this study contains the core research contents in the development of data service linked with movie information program. Specifically, additional information of the movie information program was defined. And to provide the additional information to the data service, the digital broadcasting international standard DVB-SI-based additional information transmission method was devised.

멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 위해 Havi, Jini, LonWorks, UPnP, SLP 등 여러 미들웨어들이 현존하고 있음에도 불구하고, 홈네트워크가 계속 진화함에 따라 다양한 정보가전들에 대해 특화된 새로운 미들웨어들이 계속해서 등장할 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문은 홈네트워크 상에서 이질적인 미들웨어 간의 상호 연동을 위한 통합 구조 방식에 대해 고찰하고, 효율적인 멀티미디어 서비스 지원을 위하여 기존 방식과는 달리 이질적인 미들웨어를 통합하는 표준 메소드 기반의 통합 구조를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 HOMI 구조 (HOmenetwork Middleware for Interoperability)는 이기종 미들웨어간의 연동을 위해 표준 메소드를 사용하여 이기종 장치들이 서비스를 인식하고 사용할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공한다. HOMI는 이러한 인터페이스를 통하여 기존의 통합 미들웨어 구조와는 다르게 표준 메소드를 사용하여 장치들간의 연동을 가능하게 함으로써 홈네트워크를 위한 이기종 가전들간 연동의 효율성과 편리성을 향상시켰다. HOMI는 댁내에 존재하는 멀티미디어 데이터 관리를 위하여 통합 멀티미디어 데이터관리 매니저를 두고, 장치들간에 연동이 가능하도록 함으로써 분산되어 있는 멀티미디어 데이터와 서비스를 언제 어디서든지 서비스 받을 수 있도록 지원한다. 마지막으로 HOMI는 통합 미들웨어를 위한 중앙 집중형 구조에서 멀티미디어 데이터 전송에 의한 부하 문제를 Agent들을 여러 장치에 분산할 수 있도록 함으로써 해결하였다.

빌딩이 지능화 되어감에 따라 많은 제어 시스템이 생겨나게 되었다. 그리고 이들을 통합하여 연동 서비스를 제공하기 위한 노력들이 이루어지고 있다. 그동안 빌딩에 도입된 자동화 및 제어 시스템은 공급업체도 다양할 뿐만 아니라 업체별로 시스템 통신 방식도 상이하기 때문에 공급업체에 의해 종속되는 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 이와 같은 문제를 인식하고 개방형 표준 프로토콜을 사용하려는 노력들이 있었고, 현재는 BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus 등의 개방형 프로토콜을 각 설비의 특성에 맞게 혼용하고 있다. 그러나 각 설비별로 데이터 포맷과 통신 방법이 틀리기 때문에 완벽한 통합과 연동 서비스는 이루어 지지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 빌딩 시스템간의 데이터 공유, 빌딩 어플리케이션과 다른 비즈니스 어플리케이션간의 데이터 공유 및 통신이 가능하도록 XML 웹 서비스를 제안하고 구현하였다.

According to a statistical survey, despite the continuous improvement of the economic level, the participation rate of donations is decreasing. As a cause of this phenomenon, the problem of reliability of donation organizations is a big part. In order to increase viewers' intention to donate, this study developed a donation campaign linked data service that shows information that can increase the credibility of donation organizations and storytelling of donation recipients. Specifically, a user scenario of a data service that is properly operated in conjunction with a donation campaign that is broadcast shortly was defined, and a user interface was designed by reflecting the characteristics of the TV platform. In addition, a prototype based on the DVB-MHP standard was developed to analyze the effect of the data service utilization on viewers' intention to donate.
