This study performs opinion mining of newspaper articles, based on topics extracted by topic modeling. We analyze the attitudes of the news media towards a major issue of 'presidential election', assuming that newspaper partisanship is a kind of opinion. We first extract topics from a large collection of newspaper texts, and examine how the topics are distributed over the entire dataset. The structure and content of each topic are then investigated by means of network analysis. Finally we track down the chronological distribution of the topics in each of the newspapers through time serial analysis. The result reveals that both the liberal newspapers and the conservative newspapers exhibit their own tendency to report in line with their adopted ideology. This confirms that we can count on opinion mining technique based on topics in order to analyze opinion in a reliable fashion.

The study aims to analyze the posts of depression-related Facebook groups to understand major topics discussed by group users. Specifically, the purpose of the study is to identify the topics and keywords of the posts to understand what users discuss about depression. Depression is a mental disorder that is somewhat sensitive in the online community, which is characterized by accessibility, openness and anonymity. The researchers have implemented a natural language-based data analysis framework that includes components ranging from Facebook data collection to the automated extraction of topics. Using the framework, we collected and analyzed 885 posts created in the past one year from the largest Facebook depression group. To derive more complete and accurate topics, we combined both automated and manual (e.g., stop words removal, topic size determination) methods. Results indicate that users discuss a variety of topics including depression in general, human relations, mood and feeling, depression symptoms, suicide, medical references, family and etc.

There has been research to understand users' information behaviors using book circulation data of public libraries. In this study, we examined the subject areas of books simultaneously borrowed by users of public libraries and aimed to identify the relationships among the subject areas. To accomplish this, we utilized the Korean Decimal Classification codes of 984,790 loaned books in 2019 to transform the lists of concurrently borrowed books, totaling 22,443,699 records, by the same users on the same day, into vectors using the ITEM2VEC technique. Next, we extracted ten highly related classification codes for each classification code, utilizing a total of 522 classification codes to create a network. We identified 15 communities within this network and examined the characteristics of each community. Among the 15 communities, those consisting of two or more main classes allowed us to identify meaningful thematic associations. This study, grounded in users' book usage behaviors, has suggested the topics of books that could be borrowed together. The findings offer valuable insights for library collection development and placement, recommending related subject materials, and revising classification systems.

This study investigated the intellectual structure of the latest trends in Korean addiction research in the social sciences. A network analysis of keywords with co-word occurrence was performed on 172 papers from the KCI database based on the data from the year of 2019, and a total of 432 keywords were extracted. The network analysis was performed using several programs: Bibexcel, COOC, WNET, and NodeXL. As a result of the study, keywords related to addiction type, study subjects, research methods, and research variables were found, and a total of 20 clusters were identified. Furthermore, to identify and measure weighted networks, the relationships between each keyword were explored and discussed in detail through a network analysis of global centralities, local centralities, and betweenness centralities. The study indicated that the latest issues were focused on smartphone addiction and provided implications for the future research and practice that fields and topics of relationship addiction, food addiction, and work addiction should be more considered. Further, the study discussed the relationship between drug addiction-crime, alcohol addiction-family, and gambling addiction-motivation and the necessity of qualitative study.

본 논문에서는 차세대 원자력발전소 주제어실에서 감시 및 제어용 디스플레이 기기의 증가에 따른 정보처리계통(Information Processing System)의 네트워크 부하 감소를 위해 주기적 Subscription방식의 통신 프로토콜을 구현하고, 실험을 통하여 실질적인 디스플레이 수와 각종 운전상태에 대해서 기존의 프로토콜에 비해 우수한 성능을 나타냄을 보였다.

The purpose of this study is to derive research subject that has been overlooked in previous studies and contribute to seek to the direction of research in rural development by analyzing the studies in the last 30 years on rural society. In this study, Social Network Analysis was used for identifying the changes in research themes and connection structure of keyword. The study shows that in the previous Roh Moo-Hyun's Administration from 1986 to 2000, the convergence of the research is not active. In terms of the connection structure of keyword, lots of keywords are connected to the 'Migration, IMF, Satisfaction, Green Tourism' but its form is not complicated. In the Roh Moo-Hyun's Administration from 2001 to 2007, the academic exchanges and convergence of keywords on rural development were promoted research. The connection structure of keyword was formed like a complex cluster associated with 'The Rural Elderly, Rural Tourism, Rural Development Policy, Urban-Rural Comparison'. Although some scholars who study 'Women's Studies, Tourism' formed the cluster, its form is still passive. Since 2008 until now, the keyword network of rural development research clustered densely and formed singly. It reveals that the convergence of research subjects has proceeded actively. And studies such as the 'Community, Participation, Social capital, Quality of life, Social networks, Alternative food movement' have begun.

Recently, with the introduction of social network services, studies that try to make use of them for the various purposes have been actively developed. In order to proceed with the research that takes advantage of social network services, it is necessary to review the relevant literature and to identify trends in researches. However, the researches of social network service since 2007 are massive amount, so to review the huge amount of relevant research literature is a very difficult task. Therefore, in this study, we analyze systematically the tendency of research related to social network service focusing on Twitter. Especially, we use the SLR(Systematic Literature Review) technique for systematic literature survey and analysis. For the literature survey, we select five well-known literature resource sites and 128 studies of literature that are surveyed. In order to identify various research trends, we conduct the survey with two research groups: researches since 2007 and researches since 2011. As a result of the investigation, since 2007, the researches associated with "Application", "User Activity" and "User Content Analysis" main study topics have been mostly carried out. In addition to the result, the trend of secondary study topics in a main study topic, trends in research based on the number of citations and the scale of the experimental data and characteristics of the author are analyzed from a variety of perspectives.

Convergence science research is activated, and digital humanities research is also encouraged in humanities. Therefore, this study attempted to propose a experimental study that applies Text mining and Entitymetrics methods to historical materials. Annals of King Seonjo, revised Annals of King Seonjo, Miscellaneous Record of the War and Writings on Imjin War were used, also network analysis and DMR topic models were used to explore topic changes and common entities in historical sources. Through the results, it was possible to propose the availability of quantitative analysis for text data, presenting a timing change of a specific topic, and an undiscovered relationship between person entities.

본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명에서 가장 중요하게 대두될 수 있는 융합R&D정책에 대해 소셜 네트워크 분석을 통해 새로운 대안을 제시하려고 한다. 연구장비, 연구성과의 자료들을 활용하여 연구장비 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 융합R&D의 특성 및 구조분석을 실시하며, 연구장비 공동활용 및 다학제 협력연구를 통해 창출될 수 있는 새로운 융합R&D정책에 대한 접근을 시도하려고 한다. 나아가, 연구개발과 사업화 사이에서 더욱 중요한 역할을 할 수 있는 분석과학기술에 대한 정책적 플랫폼 구축관점 대한 시사점을 찾아내려고 한다. 이를 위해 계량적 접근과 비계량적 접근을 동시에 활용하여 연구주제에 대한 타당성을 확보할 것이며, 앞으로 미래산업 및 유망기술에 대한 전략적 선별에 있어 일부 근거를 제시해줄 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 우리나라 기초과학 및 기초과학인프라에 대한 발전적 정책방안과 융합연구 및 융합연구의 사업화에 대한 정책적 관점을 제시하도록 한다. 분석자료는 한국기초과학지원연구원(KBSI) 현황자료를 중심으로 살펴보며, 분석방법은 소셜네트워크분석(SNA:Socail Network Analysis)을 활용한다.

Analyzing research paper published from 2005 to 2010, this study aims for analysing the research paradigm on multi-culture and understanding the structural characteristics of the multicultural knowledge via scientometric. Co-word network constructed by keywords in documents and their co-occurrence relationships is a kind of mapping knowledge structure. A total of 4,521 and 1,373 papers published between 2005 and 2010 were retrieved from the KRF Registered Journals and Proposed Journals. This paper employs k-core analysis method in the field of mapping knowledge structure to analyze keyword co-occurrence network of multicultural research in Korea. And Netminer 3 is employed to visualize the networks in this paper.
