In recent years, many studies on the public library services for individual vulnerable groups have been performed in Korea. From the standpoint of public libraries with limited human and physical resources, however, all proposed alternatives are difficult to accommodate due to overload and in an integrated perspective, the several alternatives have a logical contradiction and possibility of realistic conflicts. Focusing on these facts, this study proposed an integrated direction and strategic plan to strengthen knowledge and information services of public libraries for five vulnerable classes, ie., the disabled persons, multi-cultural families, the elderly, rural residents, basic living subsidies.

It is not easy to achieve the essential goal of knowledge management, which is to strengthen individual competence and organizational competitiveness, only by collecting distributed knowledge in the centralized knowledge repository conducted so far. In order to establish a sustainable knowledge ecosystem, we must expand knowledge production through exchange and cooperation, not independent knowledge production. Through this, producing meaningful and high-value knowledge resources becomes possible. Therefore, this study aims to design an integrated service platform that stores science and technology knowledge resources and reproduces and evolves knowledge through opening, sharing, and utilization. In order to evaluate its excellence, Five experts evaluated the designed platform on detailed items classified into planning adequacy, platform effectiveness, platform efficiency, and roadmap adequacy. The evaluation score averaged 95.56 points for the above four evaluation items.

다양한 분야에 소속된 사람들이 사용하고 있는 개념들을 기존의 워드넷과 같은 지식베이스가 모두 포함하지 못한다는 한계점이 지적되었다. 본 연구에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 위키피디아 문서집합의 분석을 통하여 해결하고자 한다. 위키피디아는 현재 320만개 이상의 유/무형의 개체에 대한 상세한 설명을 포함하고 있으며, 현재도 해당 분야의 전문가들에 의해 지속적으로 제목(주제) 생성 및 내용 작성이 수행되고 있다. 이에, 위키피디아 문서는 지식베이스의 개념 확장을 위해 아주 유용한 자원이 될 수 있으며, 본 논문에서는 이러한 위키피디아 문서 제목의 개념화를 통해 기존의 지식베이스와 연결하는 의미적인 방법을 기술한다. 이를 이용한 간단한 실험을 통하여 본 연구가 우월한 가능성이 있음을 파악하였다.

Various linguistic knowledge resources are required in order that machine can understand diverse variation in natural languages. This paper aims to devise an automatic construction method of linguistic resources by reflecting characteristics of online contents toward continuous expansion. Especially we focused to build NE(Named-Entity) dictionary because the applicability of NEs is very high in linguistic analysis processes. Based on the investigation on Korean Wikipedia, we suggested an efficient construction method of NE dictionary using the syntactic patterns and structural features such as metadatas.

The purpose of this study is to develop evaluation indicators for special libraries. Finally. overall nine evaluation areas including library management. human resources. information resources, finance resources. facility resources. information uses. information services. information sharing and library specialities and 70 evaluation indicators in consideration of the special libraries' characteristics and environments were developed based on the results of the survey of the experts and librarians of the special libraries and on the application of statistical analysis.

우리 나라의 경우는 선진외국과는 달리 국가연구개발 및 기술개발사업의 수립에 있어서 확산 지향적 관점에 의한 접근이 시작단계에 머무르고 있어서 국책기술개발의 전략성 부족, 개발된 기술의 산업적 이전 내지는 확산의 미약, 및 산업경쟁력제고에로 연계부족 등의 현상이 노출되어 왔다. 또한 21세기 지식기반확립을 위한 고도정보화의 구축과 국가경쟁력 제고의 기반이 되고 있는 초고속정보통신기반사업에서의 효율적인 기술개발을 위해서는 국가 정책적 목표와 기술적 목표를 동시에 고려한 기술확산을 기초한 자원배분 우선 순위설정에 관한 체계적인 연구가 요구되고 기존연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 고에서는 이러한 점을 중시하여 연구활성화 및 연구결과의 정책적 활용도 증대를 위한 탐색적 연구의 일환으로 확산을 기반으로 한 초고속관련 기술개발사업에 대한 자원배분 우선순위 설정에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 구체적인 연구의 진행은 모형화 및 통계적 검증을 지양하였다. 먼저 기술개발과 우선순위에 관한 기존연구를 분석하여 자원배분 우선순위표를 작성하였으며, 이를 델파이 방법을 통하여 전문가들에게 조사하여 우선순위에 대한 가중치를 도출하였다. 끝으로 우선순위표를 이용하여 초고속관련 분야에서 이루어진 기존연구결과를 재구성, 종합/체계화하였다.

The ecosystem of the Library has been radically changing in the advent of ubiquitous information service technology. We are already aware of the digital library due to popularizing digital information resources and we are impressed with Library 2.0 and Social Semantic Digital Library of user-centered, service-oriented library. We summarize the ultimate goal of the evolution of library systems as knowledge services and propose a logical model of library system for the realization of knowledge services. This local model can be applied for a library framework to harmonize the diverse knowledge resources, active users with participation and collaboration, the innovation of library business and ubiquitous information service technologies to achieve the missions of library in knowledge-intensive society.

공정계획(process planning)이란 제품에 대한 설계정보 및 제한된 가용자원에 대한 정보를 바탕으로 비용, 생산량을 고려하여 원자재를 원하는 형태로 변형시키기 위한 방법의 체계적인 결정과정이라 할 수 있으며, 생산계획(production planning: scheduling)이나 작업계획(operation planning)과 연계하여 설계와 생산을 연결하는 교량 역할을 수행한다. 이러한 공정계획 작업을 컴퓨터에 의해 자동화하기 위한 컴퓨터 원용 공정계획(computer aided process planning : CAPP)은 변환적 방식(variant approach)에서 시작되어 창생적 방식(generative approach)으로 발전되어 왔으며 인공지능 기법을 응용 한 지식기반 CAPP(knowledge based CAPP) 방식에 이르기 까지 CAM-1's CAPP, APPAS, GARE, SIPS, XCUT등 수많은 연구가 행해 졌다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 부품 업체인 K사의 공정계획 사례를 바탕으로 범용성이 있는 개방형 공정계획 시스템의 개발을 목표로 한다. 본 시스템에서 i) 설계정보는 객체지향에 의해 표현된 형상특징을 사용하고 ii) 공정계획은 국부적 공정계 획과 전체적 공정계획 과정(golbal planning)으로 구별하였고 iii) 공정계획을 위한 정보는 지식 베이스(knowledge base : KB) 와 데이타 베이스(data base : DB)로 구분하였다. 또한 iv) 정보의 모듈화를 통하여 임의의 제조라인에 적합하도록 개방형을 추구하였다.

This paper studies on Multiple Ontology to share and reuse know1edge stored in every system under the Distributed Web Environment using idle resource connected the Internet. Multiple Ontology is to convert to be able know1edge sharing between ontologies constructed by one and the other. This study focuses on as follows; To compose the Distributed Web Ontology multiple system, Construction Method of the Distributed Web Environment and Composition of Multiple Ontology for Know1edge sharing and reuse. System Composed by using the jini technology has constructed extension of heterogeneous systems and effective web computing environment. Also, through 'distribution operation, practical know1edge exchange among Multiple Ontologies under the Distributed Web Environment has been processed excellently.

National libraries have a responsibility to intensively develop, preserve, and provide national collections, which are the knowledge and cultural heritage of a country. In particular, in order to achieve 'advancing the base for access and preservation of national knowledge resources' among the four goals to fulfill the mission of the National Library of Korea, it is necessary to strengthen the national knowledge resources by expanding the external scope to not only domestic materials but also foreign materials. In other words, The National Knowledge Information Center collects the latest and retroactive data produced in Korea, as well as high-quality academic materials produced, distributed, and preserved in foreign countries as well as materials related to Korea. This study drew implications by investigating and analyzing the status of foreign collection and services of national libraries in developed countries. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to compare and evaluate the current level of collection of foreign collections of the National Library of Korea, and then present a strategy to secure high-quality academic and foreign materials related to Korea.
