The satirical content of the absurd play, centered on Lee Keun-sam's play, represents the family image of a modern capitalist society where only duty is emphasized while the characters are lost in love with the family. They show humans becoming subordinate to economic logic as traditional relationships and family relationships change into material ones due to the rapid development of the economy. The narrator expresses the roles of the performer and the narrator together. It also presents the plot as a characteristic element of epic and absurd dramas, and directs actors as directors. It also foretells the events that will take place in the future, presents the inner consciousness of the characters in the play, and reduces and expands events and times. In terms of conflict, in order to fulfill the financial responsibility of their children, the professor translates them like a machine and the wife distributes the money they earn as they demand. The middle-aged professor and his wife are not willing to make a difference in the real world, so specific conflicts are not revealed. Therefore, no concrete conflict appears within this work. The plot of consisted of 22 epicentre compartments, consisting of a time frame from evening to the next morning. And no special events happen and show only one family's daily life. In addition, materials that show simple repetition of daily life such as newspapers, rice, birthdays, etc. are effectively showing the character of absurdity through repeated structure. The linguistic features of the absurd play focus on expressing anxiety, despair, fantasy and the sense of loss that the object's purpose has disappeared. The stage system avoids detailed portrayals of naturalist plays and creates a thoroughly simplified image that the theme of the play demands, which shows that the stage unit is also an important element that characterizes the absurdity of reflexes.
Downdrag force develops when a pile is driven through a soil layer which will settle more than a pile. There is no obvious criterion for application of the current pile design method considering the negative skin friction. Therefore, in this study, numerical analyses were performed to investigate the behavior of a single pile subjected to negative skin friction and their results were used to determine the applicability of the current design method. Including three different sites in Song-do area and two different cases with friction pile and end bearing pile conditions, total six cases were considered. The load-settlement relationships and the neutral points were estimated for different end bearing conditions and the allowable bearing capacity of piles with negative skin friction was investigated through parametric studies. Based on the results showed that the negative skin friction made a major influence on the settlement of a pile and its stress. However the allowable bearing capacity may not be influenced by the negative skin friction. Compared with the allowable bearing capacity obtained from the ultimate bearing capacity with the safety factor of 3, the current design method with the safety factor of 3 underestimated the allowable bearing capacities regardless of the end bearing conditions. On the other hand, the current design method with the safety factor of 2 yielded reasonable results depending on the end bearing conditions.
The fluxes of wet deposition(WD), throughfall(TF), stemflow(SF) and soil leachates were measured to understand base cation budgets on deciduous ecosystem impacted by acidic deposition in the north-western part of Tomakomai in Hokkaido, Japan. The flux of $H^{+}$ for wet deposition was $0.34kmo1_{c}$$ha^{2+}$ and the flux of base cation, $K^{+}$ /, Na$^{ + }$, $Ca^{2+}$ and $Mg^{2+}$ far throughfall plus stemflow wart 1.6 kmolc $ha^{-1}$ , 3 times higher level than that for wet deposition. The flux of base cation for canopy leaching(LI) was 0.95 kmolc ha$^{-1}$ , 2.8 times higher level than $H^{+}$ sources in wet deposition. The major mechanism of $^{+}$ consumption closely related to acidic neutralizing capacity of canopy. The ionic flux for soil leachates from Boil reservoir and proton consumption in soil was dependent on soil chemical states and exchangeable Ca in soil had a major factor of H$^{+ }$ consumption. The base cation budgets on deciduous ecosystem showed positive balance fur Na, Ca and Mg, while K was the negative value.

Traffic accidents are caused by several factors such as drivers, vehicles, and road environment. It is necessary to investigate and analyze them in advance to prevent similar and repetitive traffic accidents. Especially, the human factor is most significant element and traffic accidents by drinking-driving caused from human factor have become social problem to be paid attention to. The study analyzes traffic accidents resulting from drinking-driving and the effects of driver's attributes and environmental factors on them. The study is composed as two parts. First, the log-linear model is applied to analyze that accidents by drinking or non-drinking driving associate with road geometry, weather condition and personal characteristics. Probability is tested for drinking-driving accidents relative to non-drinking drive accidents. The study analyzes probability differences between genders, between ages, and between kinds of vehicles through odds multipliers. Second, traffic accidents related to drinking are classified into property damage, minor injury, heavy injury, and death according to their severity. Heavy injury is more serious than minor one and death is more serious than heavy injury. The ordinal regression models are established to find effecting factors on traffic accident severity.

The present study is a discussion in which the flow of 'social and cultural values' inherent in the creative advertising story is considered against Bart's symbolism and the creative symbol system, and attempted to reproduce the work through the cognitive thinking of the inmates. The interaction of correct social and cultural communication is not just a strategy for persuasion and effectiveness. Starting with these issues, I thought that experiencing the 'symbolic production' and 'cognition interpretation' of the most creative, aesthetic and implicit advertising stories was the realization of concrete cultural values. The reason why I pay attention to advertising as a target tool of the original school is that it gives anyone access to the social and cultural values based on the productivity of meaning, the sharing of meaning and social small-call work by paying attention to the most implicit symbols in a short period of time. I also think that with the trend of the times, it is well worth it as a tool of positive communication for social and cultural member harmony and solving future problems. The reality of social and cultural advertising stories conducted in conjunction with the analysis of meaning at the cognitive thought level is very appropriate to apply in creative classes for college students. The Dong-A Ilbo is a discussion that suggested that the work of realizing the cognitive meaning of advertising stories, a "symbol complex" based on creativity in a complex, multi-media era, will become an age-old communication tool to join university students' strategies for solving future problems
In this paper, a new interpolation model for the head related transfer function (HRTF) was proposed. In the method herein, we assume that the impulse response of the HRTF for each azimuth angle is given by linear interpolation of the time-delayed neighboring impulse responses of HRTFs. The time delay of the HRTF for each azimuth angle is given by sum of the sound wave propagation time from the ears to the sound source, which can be estimated by using azimuth angle, the physical shape of the underlying head and the distance between the head and sound source, and the refinement time yielding the minimum mean square error. Moreover, in the proposed model, the interpolation intervals were not fixed but varied, which were determined by minimizing the total number of HRTFs while the synthesized signals have no perceptual difference from the original signals in terms of sound location. To validate the usefulness of the proposed interpolation model, the proposed model was applied to the several HRTFs that were obtained from one dummy-head and three human heads. We used the HRTFs that have 5 degree azimuth angle resolution at 0 degree elevation (horizontal plane). The experimental results showed that using only $30\sim40%$ of the original HRTFs were sufficient for producing the signals that have no audible differences from the original ones in terms of sound location.
This paper examines the impact of ESG activities of domestic shipping companies on the cost of debt. It is known that companies with large information asymmetry tend to have high costs of debt. Corporate ESG activities have been identified as an effective means of reducing information asymmetry. By actively engaging in ESG activities, companies can lower the cost of debt by reducing information asymmetry. Therefore, this study aims to investigate whether these mechanisms, which have been observed in previous studies, also apply to domestic shipping companies. Multiple regression analysis is conducted on KOSP I-listed shipping companies from2010 to 2022. The cost of debt is set as the dependent variable, while the ESG rating is used as the explanatory variable. The analysis reveals that companies with a high level of ESG activities generally have a lower cost of debt. However, it is important to note that ESG activities of shipping companies do not seem to have a significant impact on their cost of debt. In fact, the level of ESG activities among domestic shipping companies is not particularly high (Hong, 2024). Despite these findings, domestic shipping companies should still strive for sustainable management to adapt to the rapidly changing business environment and meet the demands of the modern era. ESG management is a representative method for achieving sustainability. Therefore, shipping companies should not only focus on reducing the cost of debt but also on opening up the closed industry culture and communicating with capital market participants for sustainable growth. It is crucial for these companies to listen to the voices of stakeholders and embrace a holistic approach to sustainability.

Light is an important component among which plays a crucial role in determining the production and quality of fruit trees. Since the disturbance of light directly leads to reduced photosynthetic efficiency, their damage can be increased especially in fruit trees such as Japanese apricots with a short growing time. In this study, we investigated how the effects of shading condition can affect the production and quality of Japanese apricots according to increased damages by light disturbance in the main orchard complex. The average photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) level in Japanese apricots was rapidly dropped as the shading time was increased compared to the control (304 μmol/m2/s) and the PAR level decreased to 142 μmol/m2/s after shaded for eight hours. The maximum photosynthetic efficiency, with a PAR value of 900 to 1,000 μmol/m2/s, corresponds to the time period without shading and the time period with 2 hours of shading, and these times range from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. And the time period for shading for 4 hours was from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and under conditions of shading for 6 and 8 hours, the effect was a low amount of light. There was no difference in the weight of Japanese apricots during 2 hours shading time, however, it was significantly reduced as shading time were increased. The difference of the acid content and L/D ratio was not significant on shading time, but the SSC was decreased as times going on. In conclusion, our results indicate that the shading for more than 2 hours make negative effects to decrease the weight and SSC and the yield and affects directly to drop in fruit quality.
Previously, we synthesized a novel Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, MCS-5A. Also, we investigated the involvement of cell cycle regulatory events during MCS-5A-mediated apoptosis in HL-60(+p16/-p53) cells with up-regulation of p16 protein expression. In contrast, apoptosis was not observed in A549(-p16/+p53) cells. Therefore we propose that $p16^{INK4A}$ is a key enzyme for inducing apoptosis. In the present studies, we have explored the mechanism of $p16^{INK4A}$ -mediated cytotoxicity and the role of p16.sup INK4A/ overexpression in the induction of apoptosis in human tumor cells. The tumor suppressor gene $p16^{INK4A}$ is known as a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor (CKI) and cell cycle regulator. We expressed wild type $p16^{INK4A}$ in pcDNA3.1 vector and then transfected into non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell expressing different statue of p16$^{INK4A}$, p53 gene〔A549(-p16/+p53), H1299(-p16/-p53) and HeLa(+pl6/+p53) cell line〕. TUNEL assay (including propidium iodide staining following transfection of these cell line with pcDNA3.1-pl6) indicate that p16$^{INK4A}$-mediated cytotoxicity was associated with apoptosis. This is supported by studies demonstrating an induction of caspase 3 cleavage due to the transfection of A549, H1299 and HeLa cells with pcDNA3.1-pl6. These results suggest that p16$^{INK4A}$ has a new function of inducing apoptosis which is not related with the function of tumor suppressor gene p53.
Cyanobacteria are a very old group of prokaryotic organisms that produce very diverse secondary metabolites, especially non-ribosomal peptide and polyketide structures. Although some cyanobacteria produce lethal toxins such as microcystins and anatoxins, some may be useful either for development into commercial drugs or as biochemical tools. Detection of unknown secondary metabolites was carried in the present study by a screening of 98 cyanobacterial strains from Cyanobiotech GmbH in order to establish a screening process, isolate pure substances and determine their bioactivities. A degenerated polymerase chain reaction technique as molecular approaches has been used for general screening of NRPS gene and PKS gene in cyanobacteria. A putative PKS gene was detected by DKF/DKR primer in 38 strains (38.8%) and PCR amplicons resulted from a presence of NRPS gene were showed by MTF2/MTR2 primer in 30 strains (30.6%), respectively. A screening of interesting strains was performed by comparing PCR screening results with HPLC analyses of extracts. HPLC analysis for a detection of natural products was performed in extracts from biomass. 5 strains were screened for further scale-up processing. 7 pure substances were isolated from the scale-up cultures and tested for bioactivities under consideration to purity, amount and molecular weight of substances. One substance isolated from CBT 635 showed cytotoxic activity. This substance may be regarded as Microcystin LR.
