Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is rather unique. Most of HCC patients have underlying chronic liver diseases with or without cirrhosis and the prognosis of HCC depends on the liver function, as well as the tumor extent. Non-invasive diagnosis of HCC can be made with certain risk factors and specific imaging findings (e.g. hypervascularity). Patients with HCC can receive surgical resection, radiotherapy, and systemic chemotherapy as other solid malignancies. HCC has more treatment options such as liver transplantation, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) and radiofrequency ablation (RFA). A variety of practice guidelines for HCC has been published by many academic societies. Different healthcare systems and availability of resources also affect the practice guidelines; therefore, practice guidelines have similarities and dissimilarities. Herein, we review the current status of practice guidelines for HCC and future perspectives for the improvement of guidelines are also discussed.

When a scintillator block is constructed using fine scintillator pixels, the scintillator block located at the edge of the scintillator block results in overlapping images. To solve this problem, a light guide was inserted between the scintillator block and the photosensor, and images of all scintillation pixels were separated and acquired. However, loss of light may occur through the light guide, which eventually affects the quality of the image due to a decrease in energy resolution. Therefore, in this study, a detector was designed that can separate scintilltion pixels better by using a reflector on the side of the light guide and can secre excellent energy resolution by minimizing light loss. For comparative evaluation with previous studies, flood images were obtained through DETECT2000 capable of light simulation, and the degree of separation and light collection rate were evaluated. When a reflector was used on the side of the light guide, all materials showed excellent separation regardless of the material of the light guide, which showed better separation results than previous studies. In addition, the light collection rate was more that five times better when the reflector was applied than when it wa not. If this detector is applied to a small animal positron emission tomography, it will be possilbe to secre excellent image quality through excellent spatial resolution and energy resolution.

It is urgently needed to develop programs supporting lifelong education for nurses and students of nursing, which are not restricted by time or space and use personal computers or smartphone. The purpose of this study is to develop CCC(Clinical Care Classification) System into a education program and provides guideline to support clinical tasks for students of nursing. Comparing the search times of the book guideline and the web guideline developed, this study found that it was over 3.5 times faster. And its error rate was over four times lower. This result shows that it can provide accurate intervention for patients since it approaches to intervention and evaluation guideline fast and precisely in the actual tasks of nursing.

The 21st century is as an age of culture, and cultural goods presenting the cultural spirit of one nation should reflect the tradition, culture, and techniques of that nation. The twelve horary signs of the gods are the creatures of our nation's native religion and thought have existed from the unified Silla period to today. Therefore, many things belong to the category of cultural goods, but in this study the guidelines for the design of cultural goods are limited to the characters of the twelve horary signs. For this study concept and classification of cultural goods, Korean traditional formative special qualities, concepts and composite elements, symbolic meanings and special qualities, personifications, and unique images of twelve horary signs of are researched. According to the results of the research guidelines for the design of cultural goods, images of cultural goods, classifications applying to each subject, the formative special qualities of Korean traditions, personifications, and concepts on the development of cultural goods are presented..

This study developed subject guides for modern Korean literature materials that National Library of Korea owns. These were developed through processes such as domestic and foreign case studies, research on user's awareness, and theoretical investigation of modern Korean literature and subject guides in order to reflect characteristics unique to modern Korean literature which existed under special historical conditions. The results of acquiring actual data are as follows. First, this study acquired bibliographic data on 23,731 cases of works and information about figures regarding 117 authors of modern Korean literature. Second, this study covered raw data generated by the corresponding authors from 1894 to 1945 and the derived data generated by other authors until now on the basis of that. Third, an attempt was made to cluster the relevant information through arrangement system by author, genre and time period. The above-mentioned study results are regarded to be significant because an attempt is made to systematize and structure modern Korean literature existing in a complicated condition to such an extent that it was not possible for even the relevant academic world to find exact statistical data on author at that time.

This study aims to develop a guideline of environmental assessment for tidal current energy development in Korea. Based on an extensive discussion of the environmental effects of tidal current energy, this study provides an appropriate guideline for environmental assessment on tidal current energy development in Korea. The guideline includes a method for proper site selection and specific techniques for environmental impact assessment. The guideline for environmental impact assessment consists of four steps - including current condition investigation, impact predictions, identification and incorporation of mitigation measures, and post environmental monitoring - to effectively predict and assess impacts of tidal current energy development on the ocean environment. It is expected that the guideline can facilitate the often demanding environmental assessment review process and to reduce the time taken for it.

The purpose of this study is to develop a design guideline to provide user-friendly experience and convenience for the online support system for the curriculum at primary/secondary schools. To achieve the objective, best practices of overseas on the online support system for curriculum as well as prior research were analyzed. In addition, UX/UI usability problems and needs were derived through a survey of 74 professionals and teachers who are monitoring NCIC and high school credit system sites. Based on the analysis of best practices of overseas and survey results, the draft of the design guideline was derived, and Delphi method was conducted by experts to re- vise the design guidelines and evaluate their validity. This study is meaningful in that it suggests the direction of improvement of the system currently being serviced and the direction of the design of the system to be developed in the future, by providing design guidelines that can be generally applied to online support systems that perform tasks related to the curriculum.

최근 교통에 대한 관심도 환경보호와 건강의식이 강화됨에 따라 차량 중요성이 강조되던 시대에서 보행자의 안전과 편리중심으로 바뀌고 있다. 그러나 최근 수년간 발생한 교통사고 사망자 중 40%가 보행자이고, 이 수치는 OECD에서 가장 높은 수준이다. 본 연구는 방재디자인기반의 보행자 안전사고 예방을 위한 횡단보도 안전표지디자인 가이드라인 연구로 디자인 전문가 10명을 대상으로 심층면접을 통해 디자인 문제점을 발견하고 현재의 횡단보도안전표지를 개선방안을 제시하였다.
