Measuring the Connectivity of Nodes in Road Networks (도로 네트워크의 노드 연계성 산정에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes a model for measuring the connectivity of nodes in road networks. The connectivity index between two nodes is characterized by the number of routes, degree of circuitousness, design speed, and route capacity between the nodes. The connectivity index of a node is then defined as the weighted average of the connectivity indexes between the node and other nodes under consideration. The weighting factor between two nodes is determined by the travel demand and distance between them. The application of the model to a toy network shows that it reasonably well quantifies the level of connectivity of nodes in the network. If flow of rail networks can be measured in the same scale as that of road networks and the capacity of rail links can be estimated, the model proposed in this paper could be applied to intermodal transportation networks as well.

  • 전 세계적으로 기후변화, 인구증가, 도시화에 따른 물, 에너지, 식량 등 필수 자원의 수요량 증가로 인한 수급 불균형으로 글로벌 자원안보 위기가 대두되고 있다. 특히, 국내의 경우 경제성장로 인한 중산층 증가와 도시 인구 팽창에 따른 물, 에너지, 식량 등 필수 자원에 대한 수요 증가로 인해 유한한 자원에 대한 대응책이 시급한 실정이다. 또한 국내 자원의 대외 의존성이 높아 국제 자원 시장에 크게 영향을 받기 때문에 물-에너지-식량의 연계를 통한 자립적 자원확보가 필요하다. 국내에서도 수자원 자체만의 기존 기술 한계를 극복하기 위한 물-에너지, 물-식량 연계신기술 개발과 지속가능한 활용방안이 필요한 실정으로 현재 미국, 일본, 유럽 등 주요 선진국을 중심으로 물관리와 연계한 에너지의 효율화 및 수자원이 갖는 에너지의 회수와 적극적 활용이 추진되고 있다. 이를 반영하여, 국내의 경우 독립적으로 구분되는 이수, 치수, 물순환 건전화 등 주요 물관리 이슈에 대하여 에너지, 식량 분야를 연계한 통합적이고 효율적인 지속가능 방안제시가 필요하다. 이를 위해 자원안보의 선제적 대응을 위한 구체적이고 실질적인 물-에너지-식량의 연계 기술이 필요하며, 국내 실정에 적합한 기술의 도입이 필요하다. 즉 (1) WEF 데이터공유 및 범정부적 의사결정을 위한 다부처 협업체계 구축을 위한 Bigdata기반 부처간 데이터베이스 구축 및 공유 (2) 기후변화 적응 자원연계 솔루션 개발 및 넥서스 영향평가 툴 개발을 위한 자원 효율성 증대를 위한 연계 기술 고도화 (3) 국내(미래넥서스시티 versus 지자체자립형넥서스마을), 해외 on-demand형의 미래자원관리 패키지기술 실증을 위한 국내외 Testbed구축 및 운영 (4) 기술의 실현을 위한 제도, 정책의 개선 및 국민 공감대 형성을 위한 WEF 넥서스 거버넌스 수립 및 개선으로 구분할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 물-에너지-식량 분야 상호 연계를 통한 분야별 "생산-가공-유통처리" 효율 30% 개선, 20C SOC 시설산업기반에서 21C 사회 인프라 국민 서비스 산업으로 전환을 통한 국가 신산업기반 구축, 4차 산업혁명의 Data Technology 분야에서 세계 최초의 공공기반 WEF 연계 패키지 기술 개발 들이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on Reliability Improvement of Traffic Information by Integrating Security and Traffic AVI Data (방범-교통 AVI의 통합 DB를 활용한 교통정보 신뢰성 개선방안 연구)

  • AVIs on the road are installed for (1) security (2) and for traffic, and they are various managed by (1) police department, (2) local government, (3) national highway management, (4) Korean highway corporation. But although the collected data of the plate number, the travel time, the picture of the car are same, they are used in purposes of its installation because the managements are different and the data are difficult to be connected with each other. For this reason, this study is to appraise the application for creating traffic information by integrating these data, and to suggest the introduction of spatial detection system which integrated security-traffic AVI DB for the purpose of reliability improvement of center's velocity. The estimating sections of link travel information seems to be expanded, and the error rate between the center's velocity and the experimental value will be reduced if integrated DB of traffic and security AVIs is used for creating traffic information. Also, the crime prevention and arrest rate is expected to rise in the future.

  • An integrated water resources management is highly required to use efficient water and preserve water quality due to the limits of water resources development and water pollution. K-WEAP was developed, which supports the water resources planning and evaluation within a fully integrated interactive system. In this study, we present three applications of K-WEAP. First, we examined the usefulness of K-WEAP as a water resources planning tool through its application to the National Water Resources Plan. Second, the conjunctive use of surface water and groundwater in the Geum river basin with K-WEAP was evaluated, and its results show how to support to set up a sustainable groundwater management plan. Finally, we confirmed the function of the integrated water quantity and quality management in K-WEAP, which conducted by comparing the simulated results of water quality in both QUAL2E and K-WEAP.

A Study of the Visual Components and Characteristics of the Integrated Identity of Winter Olympics - Focused on the Cases of the Vancouver, Sochi, and Pyeongchang Winter Olympics (동계올림픽 통합 아이덴티티의 시각적 구성요소와 특성 연구 - 밴쿠버, 소치, 평창 동계올림픽 사례중심으로)

  • A case study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of the visual components affecting the integrated identity design of Winter Olympics for its establishment. The targets of the investigation were limited to the Winter Olympics held after 2010, including the Vancouver, Sochi, and Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The first survey investigated the characteristics of the visual components, and the second survey analyzed the design characteristics, including connectivity, variability, expandability, and connectivity and could draw the following results. The integrated identity of Winter Olympics maintained the connectivity, providing the integrated recognition of visual components, and there was a variability according to its use. In addition, connective images were maintained with each other. However, it was noted that there was little expandability utilized flexibly according to the applied media in the emblem and slogan even in the various changes. Hopefully, these results will be utilized as the basic data for the development of integrated identity strategies, effective for the production of the design of the emblem of the Olympics in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the developmental strategies of information literacy program based on the integrated topics to promote inquiry abilities of middle school students who take part in the free semester system. To that end, the content of the 2015 revised curriculum on a national level was analyzed to develop 6 inquiry themes that incorporate Korean, Social Studies, Music and Art. The instruction and learning guide were consisted of three stages of forming a background knowledge, researching and creating and evaluating the conclusion of the research. The detailed activities for research step were consisted of the four steps of recognition of the problem, information analysis and interpretation, compilation of information and evaluation for each activity. Among the themes "environment" and "appreciation" were applied to a public library and a middle school library as a trial. The trial application saw that students took an interest in programs that subject themes are link with various topics. They were also very satisfied with such programs.

  • In this study the infrastructure of PKIMS(ParK Information Management System) was constructed based on SDI(Spatial Data Infrastructure) not only to provide the consistent spatial information of the space called park but also to share the latest information so that administrative officers could make people satisfied for their information request and promote consistent policy for the park management. PKIMS was developed by integrating with SDI for all life cycle of spatial data such as the data generation, use and share so that the efficiency and executive of administrative services could be acquired. Moreover, this construction of successful application system based on SDI would be the very good sample for implementation of NSDI(National Spatial Data Infrastructure).

  • 최근에 들어 환경보전과 지속가능한 하천관리의 중요성이 대두되고 있으며, 통합물관리에 있어 수리량과 수질을 연계한 통합 모니터링의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 수리량과 수질 분야에 대한 모니터링 기술은 지속적인 연구가 이루어져 왔으나, 각 분야의 개별적 연구로 인해 수리량과 수질을 통합하여 모니터링 하는 기술 개발은 미흡한 수준이다. 또한 수질 측정은 수질오염공정시험기준에 있는 채수 기준에 따라 채수하여 측정하고 있으며, 채수 지점은 하천의 수심별로 달리하여 정해진다. 수리 측정은 현장계측을 통한 2차원적 계측으로 진행하고 있어 수질 측정 시 채수지점과 수리 측정지점은 일치하지 않는다. 동일 지점에서의 수질과 수리량을 동시에 고려하고 있지 못한 모니터링은 본류와 지류의 혼합거동이 많은 국내 하천 특성을 반영하지 못한다. 또한 현재의 수질·수리 모니터링은 ADCP나 다항목수질측정기 같은 고가의 장비를 운영하며, 홍수기와 같은 고위험 계측 조건에서 인력을 통해 측정하고 있기에 고비용의 장비운영비와 인명 피해를 야기시키고 있다. 따라서 무인 원격 기술을 적용한 하천 모니터링 기술과 수질과 수리량의 데이터 연계를 통한 3차원 모니터링 기술의 확보는 하천관리에 있어 매우 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 수중 무인 원격이동체인 ROV와 무인 원격이동체(USV)를 활용한 3차원 수질·수리 모니터링 기술 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 국내 하천 특성을 고려한 혼합거동을 분석하기 위해 ROV에 수중 GPS 장비와 수질센서를 부착시켜 수중 내 2차원으로 측정되는 수리량과 동일한 좌표를 가지는 수질자료를 계측하여 하천의 연직 분포와 수평적 분포를 통해 화학적 수리적 거동을 분석하여 하천의 3차원 혼합거동 양상을 판단할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 무인 원격이동체를 통한 3차원 수질·수리 모니터링 기술은 하천의 3차원 분석에서 수질·수리량 보간 자료로 활용 가능하며, 효율적인 모니터링을 통하여 하천 전반 및 통합물관리에 있어 크게 기여할 것이라 사료된다.

Eco-innovation Policies and Policy Integration : The Finnish Case (환경친화적 혁신정책과 정책통합 : 핀란드 사례)

  • The integration of environmental and innovation policies is perceived to be essential in order to deal efficiently with environmental and innovation problems. This study analyzed environmental policy integration in Finnish technology policies in view of system transitions and policy integration. Finnish environment-innovation policy integration is assessed empirically by focusing on the policy strategies, implementation, and evaluation processes. Furthermore, this study compared Korea's environment-innovation policy integration with that of the Finnish experience, and drew up policy implications from the comparative study in order to come up with Korean contexts. Moreover, since green growth and eco-innovation are core issues in Korea today, it is important to ensure that system transitions and policy implementations take into account the various forms of policymaking, as well as political, organizational, and procedural activities.

Experiences of Public Visiting Nurses on the Linkage Cooperation of public case management: Focus Group Interview (방문건강관리사업 담당자의 공공부문 사례관리 연계협력 경험: 포커스 그룹 인터뷰)

  • This study was conducted to identify the linkage and cooperation experiences in public case-management services of visiting health care practitioners. Focus group interviews were conducted with three people in charge of providing visiting healthcare services in public health centers. A semi-structured interview questionnaire was developed in advance through discussions among researchers In response to the interview questions, study participants described in detail the success and failure factors associated with linkage and cooperation that they experienced while providing visiting healthcare services. The interview data were analyzed qualitatively to identify the main themes and sub-themes reflecting visiting nurses' experiences with linkage and cooperation. The three main themes were: 'Guidelines act as positive performance factors for community-based linkage and cooperation', 'Unstable employment and lack of an integrated system act as barriers to linkage and cooperation', and 'Necessary for multidimensional approach to promoting linkage and cooperation'. Based on these results, the authors propose the development of clear linkage and cooperation standards and procedures, thereby ensuring job security for visiting nurses. Moreover, an integrated information system should be developed and implemented.
