Increase in dental hygienists' competency and self-directed capacity after capstone design course on community dental hygiene (캡스톤 디자인 지역사회치위생학 수업이 치과위생사 역량 및 자기 주도력 증가에 미치는 효과)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to verify the effect on students' competency and self-directed capacity after a capstone design teaching method with community dental hygiene class. Methods: The study participants were 34 dental hygiene students taking a 4-year community dental hygiene course at a university located in City C. The research tool consisted of 52 questions on major competency and 20 questions on self-directed capacity. Results: After the capstone design class, overall dental hygienists' competency increased (p<0.05), and competencies of clinical dental hygiene and community health promotion showed a high increase (p<0.001). As a result of analyzing the increase in dental hygienists' competency according to self-directed learning ability, the group with low self-directed capacity showed high improvement in clinical dental hygiene competency and community oral health promotion competency. Conclusions: This study confirmed that the capstone design course in community dental hygiene improved students' competency and self-directed capacity, and suggests that it is an excellent teaching method for training competencies required for future society.

The Effect of Physical Computing Education to Improve the Convergence Capability of Secondary Mathematics-Science Gifted Students (중등 수학과학 영재를 위한 피지컬컴퓨팅 교육이 융합적 역량 향상에 미치는 영향)

  • Our study is composed of Arduino robot assembly, board connecting and collaborative programming learning, and it is to evaluate their effect on improving secondary mathematics-science gifted students' convergence capability. Research results show that interpersonal skills, information-scientific creativity and integrative thinking disposition are improved. Further, by analyzing the relationship between the sub-elements of each thinking element, persistence and imagination for solving problems, interest of scientific information, openness, sense of adventure, a logical attitude, communication, productive skepticism and so on are extracted as important factors in convergence learning. Thus, as the result of our study, we know that gifted students conducted various thinking activities in their learning process to solve the problem, and it can be seen that convergence competencies are also improved significantly.

The Path Analysis of Multicultural perception, Cultural competence and Professional self-concept of Nursing students (간호대학생의 다문화인식, 문화적 역량 및 전문직 자아개념의 경로분석)

  • This is a study path analysis for relationship among multicultural perception(MP), cultural competence(CC) and professional self-concept(PSC). The survey was performed on 245 nursing students in one university. Data was collected using structured questionnaire and analysed with PASW 18.0, AMOS 18.0. Model fit indices were in good agreement with recommended level($x^2/df=1.170$, GFI=.992, AGFI=.970, RMSEA=.027, CFI=.995, NFI=.967). Based on path model CC showed a direct effect on PSC while MP, satisfaction in major(SM), and interpersonal relationship(IR) showed a indirect effect. The MP and SM showed a direct effect on CC while IR showed a indirect effect and SM and IR showed a direct effec on MP. The findings indicate the necessity of developing educational programs to enhance nursing student's MP and CC for increasing of PSC.

Evaluation of Competence Level of Caregivers Using Fuzzy Theory (퍼지이론을 이용한 요양보호사의 역량수준평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the competence level of the caregiver and verify empirically the evaluated score of the competence level of the caregiver depending on the type of career and employment to propose a measure to improve the quality of care services. To more accurately evaluate the competence level of caregiver, the collected data were analyzed using fuzzy relationships for identifying the extent of relationship, after setting weighted values for the evaluation factors for working levels and service qualities. Such approach has a significance in that individual evaluation factors and individual's competence levels for caregivers may be more suitably and exactly identified. The analysis results are as follows. Care skill, reliability, assurance, typicality were statistically significant according to the caregiver's career. Also, according to the types of employment, job consciousness, responsiveness, empathy, typicality were statistically significant. To improve the competence level of the caregiver, it may be seen that improvement of job consciousness considering the career and employment types and making environments for acquiring the care skills should be done, while providing stability of the employment types rather than careers is more meaningful to improve the quality of services.

Relationships among Information Resources Use, Problem Solving Ability, Nursing Information Literacy Competency in General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 정보자원이용, 문제해결능력, 간호정보활용역량의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine relationships among information resources use, problem solving ability, nursing information literacy competency in general hospital nurses. The descriptive correlational study design was used. The data were collected from 141 nurses working in the two general hospital located G city using self-reported questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistics 20.0 program. As results of multiple regression analysis, the factors affecting nursing information literacy competency were problem solving ability and electronic information resources use. And this model could explain 38.0%(F=43.73, p<.001). Considering the findings from this study, nurses need to develop problem solving ability and electronic information resources use improvement program for them.

농업경영체의 경영자역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 시장지향성의 매개효과 중심으로

  • 최근 국내에서는 인구감소에 따른 일부 지역소멸이 화두가 되고 있다. 대부분이 농촌지역으로 여러 가지 원인이 있으나, 원인 중의 하나로 농업경영체의 성과 미흡에 따른 소득향상의 어려움이 있기 때문이다. 이를 극복하기 위해 정부와 지자체에서는 다양한 정책을 수립하여 지속해서 지원하고 있지만 큰 성과를 내지 못하고 오히려 농엉경영체의 요구사항만 많아지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 경영자역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향관계를 살펴보고 경영자역량과 기업성과 간에 있어 시장지향성이 매개역할을 하는지에 대해 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 농업경영체의 경영자역량을 독립면수로 하여 히위변수에 창의적역량, 네트워킹역량, 자기통제역량, 기술적역량을 선정하고 종속변수에는 기업성과를 매개변수로 시장지향성을 선정하고 연구를 진행하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 농업경영체의 경영자역량이 기업성과에 영향을 미칠 수 있고 시장지향성이 매개효과가 있을 것이라는 인과적 경로를 검증하고자 한다. 세계적인 불확실한 경제환경과 빠르게 변화되고 있는 국내 산업의 구조변화는 농업경영체들이 적응함에 있어 어려움이 존재하고 있는 상황에서 농촌에서 기업활동을 하고 있는 농업경영체 경영자역량의 주요 요인들을 설정하여 연구를 진행하였고 경영자들이 기업성과를 달성함에 있어 도움이 될 것이다.

Relationship Between Self-Reflection, Critical Thinking Disposition, Muti Cultural Experience and Cultural Competence in nursing students (간호대학생의 자아성찰, 비판적 사고성향 및 다문화 경험과 문화적 역량과의 관계)

  • As Korea has been rapidly transformed to be a multi cultural society, it becomes essential for nursing provider to develop cultural competency. The purpose of this study was to identify impact of self-reflection, critical thinking disposition and multi cultural experience on nursing student's cultural competence. A convenience sample of 148 nursing students was obtained from a university in Gyeonggi Province. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression. Significant relationships were found between self-reflection, critical thinking disposition, multi cultural experience and cultural competence in nursing student. The result of multiple regression indicates that critical thinking disposition (${\beta}=0.27$, p=.005), self-reflection (${\beta}=0.21$, p=.040) were the most consistent predictors of cultural competence and explained 26.0%. Thus, it is necessary to develop multi cultural education program including self-reflection and critical thinking disposition. The findings suggest the necessity to explore further various factors affecting the cultural competence and to conduct research for establishment a theoretical model.

  • 날이 갈수록 치열해지는 글로벌 경쟁 환경하에서 살아남기 위해 많은 기업들은 조직 구성원들의 역량 강화를 통한 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위하여 다양한 활동들을 하고 있으며, 이러한 활동중 하나로 액션러닝을 많은 기업들이 채택하여 활용하고 있다. 그러나 액션러닝 과정은 경영층과 팀 리더 차원에서의 적극적인 지원 및 관심뿐만 아니라 참여하는 구성원들도 적극성을 갖고 수행되어야 역량 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 또한 기업의 문화 및 제도 역시 액션러닝이 원활하게 진행될 수 있도록 뒷받침되어야만 성공할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 LG CNS에 도입하여 성공적으로 운영하고 있는 액션러닝의 역량강화 사례를 살펴보고 그 효과성을 분석해 봄으로서 글로벌 경쟁에서 살아남고 더 나아가 글로벌 IT서비스 기업과 대등한 수준에서 경쟁하기 위해 역량 강화를 원하는 여러 IT서비스 업체들에게 역량 향상을 위한 하나의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

신제품 개발조직의 지식역량 향상에 관한 연구

  • 지식사회, 지식경제의 등장과 더불어 기업의 자원으로서 지식(knowledge)의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 마케팅 전략의 한 분야로서의 신제품 전략에서도 신제품 개발과정에 있어 기업(혹은 신제품 개발 팀)의 지식과 지식의 활용 능력을 어떻게 확장할 것인가가 중요한 전략적 이슈(issue)가 된다. 신제품 개발 과정에서는 필연적으로 불확실성-시장 불확실성과 기술 불확실성-이 존재하며 불확실성을 해소하기 위하여 정보와 지식의 중요성이 부각되고 기업내의 다양한 조직-특히 R&D, 생산, 마케팅-과의 지식공유·통합과정이 중요시된다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 첫째, 기업이 가지고 있는 지식을 제품으로 구체화하는 과정이 신제품 개발(New Product Development; NPD)과정이며 구체화 과정에서 개발의 효율성과 효과성을 어떻게 달성할 것인가에 관한 문제를 다루고자 한다. 둘째, 기존의 신제품 성과 요인으로 제시되고 있는 많은 요인들을 '지식역량(knowledge competence)'의 개념으로 정리하고 이러한 지식 역량과 신제품 경쟁우위 간의 인과적 관계를 살펴봄으로써 신제품 경쟁우위에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대한 분석을 하고자 한다. 셋째 신제품 개발조직의 지식역량을 향상시키기 위한 전략적 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이론적 배경으로 기업을 지식의 결집체로 인식하고 있는 지식거점관점(knowledge based perspective)과 이러한 지식자원의 활용에 초점을 맞춘 조직학습(organizational learning) 이론 그리고 심리학에서 다루고 있는 분산된 인지이론(distributed cognition theory)을 활용한다.

An Analysis on the Educational Needs of College Faculty: A College Case (전문대학 교수의 교육요구도 분석: A대학 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to elicit the competencies of college faculties and their educational needs depending on the careers. 110 full-time professors from A college in Gyeonggi-do participated in this study from November 27 to December 7, 2018. The findings are that competencies of college faculties were found as 10 teaching competencies and 7 general competencies, and most of the competencies showed differences in importance and performance. In addition, according to the t-test and Borich needs analysis, there were differences in the educational needs of faculties depending on the three careers: a group with less than five years of experience, a group with six to ten years of experience, and a group with more than 11 years of experience. The results of this study suggest the systematic education and training program to improve the competencies of college faculties are necessary and show designing a concrete road map and training manual is needed.
