A Study on the Obstacle Factors and the Development Strategy of High Value Occupational Training for Women (여성 고부가가치 직업훈련의 장애요인과 발전방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive obstacle factors to 'high value vocational training' and to suggest development strategies. The training aims to solve the quantitative and qualitative problems of female employment by providing professional training in high value areas such as ICT, SW and knowledge service. To verify the training to meet these objectives, 48 processes operated in 2018 were analyzed and field monitoring was conducted. As a result of the analysis, problems were identified and improvements were derived in terms of learners management, training course design, field practice operation, and performance evaluation. Based on these results, researchers suggested four ways to develop high value vocational training. First, select learners based on combined talent and second, strengthen the project of linking enterprises and structured field practices. Third, establish a performance evaluation system of its own and manage performance and fourth, expand support for excellent training courses and provide consulting for course development. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for establishing policies for high value occupational training. In the future, quantitative research should be conducted to clarify the performance and problems.

The Moderating Effects of Gender and Major on the Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Orientation and Entrepreneurial Intention (대학생의 기업가정신이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 성별 및 전공의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Youth unemployment including college graduates has become more serious in recent years. It is very necessary to study the factors affecting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions. These days, the number of female entrepreneurs has been increased dramatically. There have been many successful entrepreneurs with technology background in Korea. Until now, there have been not so many empirical studies examining moderating effects of gender and college major. A lot of studies have examined the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention of college students. The purpose of this article is to examine gender and major as moderators in the relationship. Until now, there has been very few research investigating the moderating effects of gender and major on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Survey questionaries were given to 400 college students randomly chosen in Gangwon-do. Finally, 334 surveys were used to analyze the relationship. The findings of our study are as follows. First, similar to previous studies, entrepreneurial orientation of college students has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, participation both in school entrepreneurship courses and out of school entrepreneurship education does positively affect entrepreneurial intention. Gender and major are moderating variables between entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Third, compared to male students, female students with low entrepreneurial orientation show much lower entrepreneurial intention. Fourth, compared to Non-STEM students, STEM students with low entrepreneurial orientation show much lower entrepreneurial intention. Thus, in order to improve entrepreneurial intention among college students, it is very important to develop entrepreneurial orientation, especially for female and STEM college students.

Effects of Jinyeosoo Clean Mist on the Improvement of Facial Skin in Middle-aged Women (진여클린미스트를 이용한 중년여성의 안면피부개선 효과)

  • In this study, 20 middle-aged women aged from 35 to 55 were studied from October 12, 2020 to November 15, 2020 to find out the effects of improvement of facial skin of Jinyeosoo Clean Mist. Among the 20 participants, 10 were divided into experimental group and 10 control group. The Janus facial skin scope system (PSI Co.) used on the skin to measure pore, wrinkles, elasticity, UV pigmentation, and skin tone observed depending the difference in light sources. The facial examination took place 10 minutes after cleansing to stabilize and a total of 4 examinations were carried out after every week of using Jinyeosoo Clean Mist for 4 weeks. For statistical processing, SPSS statistics program 21.0 was utilized to compare the mean averages of pre-experimental and post-experimental data from the above two groups - the experimental group that used Jinyeosoo Clean Mist (hydrogen ion mist) 1 and 2 and the control group that did not use the subject products - and the corresponding sample t-test was used. As a result of the analysis, the group that used Jinyeosoo Clean Mist showed difference in pores (t=3.280, p<.05), wrinkles (t=4.353, p<.01) and elasticity (t=3.003, p<.05), skin tone(t=3.280, p<.01) under the statistical significance level.

Work-Family Balance Policies Responding to Low Fertility (저출산 대응을 위한 일-가정 양립지원정책)

  • The total fertility rate of our nation has been in the world's lowest level with constant falling since it reached an all-time low in 1983. The increase in economic participation of women, difficulties to balance work and family life, and traditional gender role and family norms in our society have been blamed for causing low birth rates. In addition, the current economic recession and increased polarization of wealth make it more difficult for working families to balance work and family life, resulting in lowering fertility rates. The Korean government has recently prepared the second five-year basic plan(2011-2015) to deal with low fertility and population ageing. The basic plan aims at providing support for working families in balancing work and family life and helping people ease the burden of marriage, childbirth, and raising their children. The work-family balance policies based on gender equality will do much to increase fertility rates in the future. In this context, this study examined current status and problems of balancing work and family life in our society, the Korean government and corporate policies for work-family balance, and the effects of policies on childbirth. Suggestions for future directions are presented.

The effect of family care program in workplace on turnover intention and work-family interaction for married working women (기업의 자녀돌봄지원제도가 미취학자녀를 둔 기혼여성의 이직의향 및 일-가정 상호작용에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how having a family care program in the workplace for working women with preschool children affects these women's work and family life. This study employs a panel analysis based on data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families. The major results are as follows. First, financial support for nursery care is only significantly related to the turnover of married women with preschool children. Second, the negative effects of work on the family are significantly influenced by financial support for nursery care and maternity leave. Third, financial support for nursery care is also significantly related to the positive effects of work on the family. In conclusion, a family-friendly care program including financial support for nursery care and maternity leave in the workplace is an important support system for working mothers in raising their children.

  • Car Navigation market is rapidly emerging in Korea recently. And it adds the multiple functions which are various traffic and travel information, DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) TV, game, movie and music. It is evolving as a killer application device of Car Infotainment (Information & Entertainment). On the other hand, the technical barrier which is pushing into the market is low and the competition is intense in process of time. In the market situation, the design differentiation is embossed with important element. In this case study, focused on inkel which specialized in Audio/Video launching into the Car Navigation market with the new brand 'WideTouch', we tried to provide successful product design strategy based on proactive research on the market for the design differentiation through the target segmentation of the new generation, middle-aged and a woman consumer.

  • As the developing of the information technology, M2M market that is using communication between devices is growing rapidly and many companies are involved in M2M business. In this paper, the concept of telematics and vulnerabilities of vehicle network security are discussed. The convergence of vehicle and information technology, the development of mobile communication technology have improved quality of service that provided to user but as a result security threats has diverse. We proposed new business model that be occurred to the participation of mobile carriers in telematics business and we analyzed mobile radio communication network security vulnerabilities. We proposed smart phone and Vehicle authentication scheme with M2M device as a way to solve vulnerabilities.

Design of Customized e-Business Training Supporting System (E-TSS) for Developing Countries (개발도상국을 위한 맞춤형 E-비즈니스 교육지원시스템 설계)

  • Global economy is moving to digital economy accelerated by the rapid development of ICT (information and communication technology). However, the progress in e-business in developing countries has been slow due to the lack of experience, technology, and basic infra structure. One way to solve this problem is to provide them with customized e-business solution, training, and contents service. In this paper, we design an E-business Training Supporting System (E-TSS) for developing countries. It consists of a simple business blog to support business web page and a customized e-business solution. The E-TSS is customized for individual country. This customization becomes more effective utilizing an intelligent agent based upon recognizing unique characteristics such as language and time. The E-TSS is implemented and utilized by APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Women's e-Biz Center.

  • In this paper, in order to clarify the effect and characteristics of rural women enterprise in rural areas, AWATAKE Restaurant at Kita Ward, Kobe is taken as a case study, and its management and operation condition, and the effects towards the region are analyzed. As a result, it can be concluded that: 1) according to the local employment and purchase of local food products, the economic effect towards the area shows a returning 73% of the gross sales to the area, 2) lifestyle technology which is empowered by women and food culture which is used as a start in the enterprise activities, are functioning as new workplace to cultivate technologies own by the women, moreover, members have never decreased, and most of them stayed for as long as 10 years, 3) however, the average age of the members are high and decreasing, leaving a new task on how to encourage participation of young members, 4) lastly, rural women enterprise is easy to manage, and also received cooperation from family in the members' working environment.

사업경력 유무에 따른 사업에 대한 태도의 차이에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 조사대상자의 사업경력, 즉 사업운영경험이 있는지의 여부, 사업실패경험이 있는지, 현재 사업을 하고 있는지에 따라 사업 및 가족기업창업과 관련한 태도에 어떤 차이가 있는지를 조사하였다. 또한, 사업 및 가족창업 관련 태도에 영향을 미치는 변수는 어떤 것인지를 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 정리 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남성이 여성보다 사업운영경험, 사업실패경험이 많았고, 현재 사업을 운영할 가능성이 많았다. 사업을 운영한 경험이 있는 경우 그리고 사업을 운영하고 있는 경우 대학원 졸업자의 비중이 많아 사업자가 고학력자임을 알 수 있었고, 연령이 평균 45세로 비사업자보다 연령이 높았으며, 부모가 창업한 경험이 있는 경우가 많았다. 둘째, 사업운영경험이 있는 경우, 사업실패경험이 있는 경우, 현재 사업을 운영하는 경우 대체로 사업에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 갖고 있었고, 사업실패후처리 평가 시스템에 대해 부정적 태도를 보였으며, 사업실패두려움이나 사업실패위험에 대해 강하게 인지하고 있었고, 가족창업에 대해 적극적인 태도를 보는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 남성 그리고 사업경험이 있는 경우 사업에 대해 긍정적 태도를 가지고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 또한, 남성, 사업실패위험에 대해 강하게 인지할수록, 사업실패경험이 있는 경우 사업실패에 대해 더 두려워하고 있었다. 끝으로, 남성, 부모가 창업한 경험이 있는 경우, 사업운영경험이 있는 경우 가족창업의지가 적극적인 것으로 밝혀졌다.
