This study suggests strategies business strategies of specialty contractors by interaction analysis between business performance indicators and construction business indicators depending on operation types. To analyzing this research, a database was analyze for construction orders and business performance indicators for specialty contractors with KRW 7 billion from 1997 to 2010 yr. For organized management oriented specialty contractors, the amount of construction orders is directly affecting the corporate stability and therefore decreasing orders can negatively affect the owner's equity ratio. However, considering that the turnover ratio of total liabilities and net worth is affecting the owner's equity, an asset management plan needs to be established in a way to increase sales to the owner's equity secured with increase in construction orders. For a single leader oriented specialty contractors, the owner's equity ratio is also significantly affected by change in the amount of construction orders and some countermeasure is required. But, as liability ratio is affecting the amount of construction orders, some sort of countermeasures to decrease liability ratio is required.

This study examined the relationships between the service convenience of restaurant kiosks and customer value, satisfaction, and trust. To this end, analyses were conducted with adults aged at least 18 years throughout the country who reported that they had used restaurant kiosks at least once over the last year. Information on restaurant kiosks was provided to minimize the possibility of errors in the survey. According to the results, first, the decision-making convenience and the convenience of restaurant kiosks were shown to have significant effects on the customer value. On the other hand, the place convenience and transaction convenience had no significant effect on customer value. Second, customer value was shown to have significant effects on trust and satisfaction. Third, trust was shown to have significant effects on satisfaction. If a restaurant considers kiosks in terms of customer service convenience, not labor cost reduction, they will maintain long-term relationships and enhance their differentiation by increasing satisfaction and trust. This study aims to present differentiated marketing strategies and practical implications of restaurants that have introduced kiosks.

This study analyzes the effects of success factors for starting business of food service industry on management performance giving executive suggestions. For this study, a survey was conducted to 270 restaurant founders in Daegu city. 237 copies of questionnaire were selected to take a regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The results of the test are as follows. First, the founder's personal characteristic factor has influence on business result. Concretely speaking, those who have enterprising characteristics proved to have influence on management performance. Second, physical surroundings, service and marketing factors had significant effects on business performance. Service factor among them was the most influential factor on business performance. Third, food quality and health-orientation factors had significant influence on business performance. Consequently, it is important to develop recipes for improving health and high-quality food materials because of well-being trends among people.

The Korean fresh pork loins in vacuum packaged were obtained from three different Korean export companies and investigated for meat color, TBARS(thiobarbituric acid reactive substance) and VBN(volatile basic nitrogen). The fresh pork loins were stored at 2$^{\circ}C$ for 50 days and analyzed with an interval of 5~10 days. The L* values of meat from the company II and III were relatively higher than those from the company I. The L* values of loins from the companies II and III were increased until 35 days of storage and decreased after that period. The TBARS values were increased as the storage time increased for meat from all companies. Although the TBARS values of all loins were similar at the beginning stage of storage, those from the companies II and III were higher than loins from the company I after 40 days of storage. There were no significant difference in VBN among loins from three companies during the storage.

Using 1996 annual observations for 69 bus firms in Seoul, this paper measures firm-level efficiency with data envelopment analysis(DEA) and identifies firm characteristics indicative of differential efficiency in these firms with Tobit regression analysis. The paper then conceptualizes that these firms produce two kinds of output(city/seat bus kilometers or city/seat bus Passengers) using four inputs (labor vehicle, fuel and maintenance). The findings show that, on an average, these firms have only a little input saving potential of 0.9 percent, while not a little output increasing potential of 12.9 percent. On the other hand, it is discovered that these firms operate more efficiently with a lower ratio of maintenance employees to total employees. Furthermore, it appears that both the ratio of seat buses to total buses and average speeds positively affect efficiency in this industry.

The main purpose of this paper is to analysis the growth process of new emerging Korean society in Georgia, the USA by investigating changes in the regional distribution of Korean business located in metro Atlanta region. More specifically, it aims to identify the characteristics of spatial distribution of Korean business in metro Atalanta through their locational trends since 1980s. To this end, it has explored the history of Korean migration into Georgia and the locational trends of Korean firms in metro Atlanta by industries. As a result, the main location of Korean firms has expanded into the northeastern regions of Atlanta due to the development of transportation, new regional development, education environment and changes in residential distribution by ethnic. Also, the main Korean business has transformed from retails and restaurant to real estate and finance because of changes in market strategies, institutions and Korean local migration.

Most construction works in a building site are progressed by many work categories and sub-contractors. Therefore there are many difficult things of management of construction-information because variable occurrences are happened to manpower and material resources. For this reason, various management systems are suggested, but the application of these systems are difficult because only construction company manages these systems and sub-contractor's participation, understanding and financial ability are insufficient. In addition to that, there are other problems such as lost information when it is carried, perversion and distrust of information by hand and lots of time and labor are necessary for collection, analysis, and management of information which are offered for daily report. so the purpose of this study is for improvement of reporting process with making an analysis of productivity effects and an analysis of function and problem of daily report. I intend to suggest the direction of improved daily report system for better productivity of construction work through input information and management of cooperation enterprises.

The rapid trends toward outsourcing have created more complex and fragmented multi-tier supply chains for Engineering, Procurement & Construction(EPC) industry. Working with suppliers and sub-suppliers requires continuous integration activities during project execution. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing the performances and relationship satisfaction of second-tier suppliers participating in the project-based supply chain. This study proposes the network embeddedness, collaboration, information-sharing and flexibility as antecedents variables, and collected the survey responses from the second-tier suppliers having experiences with complex projects. The statistical results indicate that the collaboration with supply chain leading firm and first-tier supplier has significant impact on the performances and relationship satisfaction of second-tier suppliers. It was also found that the information-sharing and flexibility influence the network embeddedness as well as collaboration, and that the embeddedness have significant impact on the collaboration.

This study used a learner acceptance model to investigate the effect of SNS characteristics on user satisfaction and visit intention. A structured self - report questionnaire was administered to 172 college students. Structural equation modeling was applied using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results of this study are as follows: First of all, the usefulness of informativeness did not affect the usability of the extracted SNS characteristics, and the usability did not affect usability. (+) Influence of. The characteristics of SNS can be utilized as a marketing tool to increase customer 's use and influence the customer' s intention to visit and further to create customers. In the future, various age groups will have to be surveyed. By examining the correlation between the degree of food companies' involvement in SNS and consumer visits, one can see how SNS activities of restaurant companies affect marketing activities.

Recently, the construction policy is rapidly changing and construction project becomes larger and more complex. Specialty contractors are in charge of the actual construction work, but they are considered to have low competence level. To strengthen competence of specialty contractors' employees, above all, it is essential to evaluate and to analyze the competence factors level for specialty contractors' employees. However, there is no in-depth research on competence factors level for specialty contractors. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the competence factor in order to find the high priority factor. The result of this study can be utilized for development of effective educational program for enhance specialty contractors' competence.
