This study investigated and analyzed overseas construction supervision systems to propose improvements for domestic supervision practices. The findings indicate a need for strengthening the role and responsibility of the ordering organization, sharing the workload and reducing the burden on supervisors, establishing a supervision work evaluation system. By implementing these recommendations, it is anticipated that the quality and effectiveness of construction supervision can be significantly enhanced.

Purpose: This study was to identify the effects of a manual booklet as an aid to clinical performance in newly graduated nurses. Methods: The research design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study was performed from June 14 to September 17, 2010 with an experimental group (n=23) and a control group (n=22) using a questionnaire with 45 new nurses who graduated from nursing colleges in 2010, and had less than 12 months work experience at a general hospital in B city. A pocketable nursing-work manual booklet was provided for the experimental group nurses so that they could use it as a reference in the work place. Results: Scores on performance of nursing work showed a significant difference between the experimental group and control group (t=-5.257, p=.001). Conclusion: Results of the present study indicate that a manual booklet of nursing work is very helpful in improving the clinical performance of new nurses. New nurses, who have some knowledge of nursing learned at school but have less clinical experience, can be helped effectively with a practical manual booklet for improving their work performance.

This paper deals with the improving issues and methods for 119 dispatcher's work and training manual in order to improve their emergency response ability in Korea. Firstly, it was investigated and compared on manuals and training methods for the reception of emergency calls between South Korea and the USA. And then, specific improvement methods were considered by questionnaire for 95 dispatchers who work at 119 communication center in Gyeonggi-do in the basis of surveys. As a result, people and equipment related to 119 have been continuously upgraded, however, their work depend on their personal experiences and capabilities but because of the insufficient pretraining for the dispatchers. Also, the manpower is still insufficient overall compared to the work. Therefore, it is necessary to secure the expertise of the dispatchers through the systematic training program and proper training and test standards for 119 dispatchers, and to prevent errors in the logic of the situation and systematize their work by standardizing the response work and arranging appropriate manpower.

본 연구는 코로나19 대응을 위한 업무연속성계획의 가동 경험을 분석하여 체계를 개선한 내용을 다루고 있다. 코로나19는 전 세계적으로 팬데믹을 일으킨 대유행병으로, 감염병 확산으로 인한 위기 상황에서 업무연속성을 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 전력에너지 공기업은 위기대응 체계를 구축하고 필수 대응 사례를 분석하여 업무연속성을 유지하는 방안을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 근무환경 분리, 핵심인력 확보, 비상대응 업무계획 수립 등 다양한 대책을 시행하였다. 코로나19 상황에서 전력에너지 공급업무의 연속성 확보를 위한 이러한 대책들은 효과적으로 시행되었고, 감염병 재난관리에 대한 매뉴얼로 활용하고 있다.

The study, on the one hand, reflects the recent social interest in crisis management including user safety and library disaster preparation, and, on the other hand, presents a detailed safety management manual that is a reference for library work sites concerning accidents that may occur in public libraries. The proposed safety management manual consists of safety management elements for the four areas of 'safety management planning', 'safety management for each crisis type', 'information resource restoration', and 'safety management checklist', as well as their detailed sub-categories. This allows each public library site to use the manual to establish safety management plans according to their situation and educate their employees.
