A Query-aware Dialog Model for Open-domain Dialog (입력 발화의 키워드를 반영하는 응답을 생성하는 대화 모델)

  • 대화 시스템은 사용자의 입력 발화에 대해 적절하고 의미 있는 응답을 생성하는 시스템으로 seq2seq 구조를 갖는 대화 모델이 주로 연구되고 있다. 그러나 seq2seq 기반 대화 모델은 입력 발화와 관련성이 떨어지는 응답을 생성하거나 모든 입력 발화와 어울리지만 무미건조한 응답을 생성하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 입력 발화에서 고려해야 하는 키워드를 찾고 그 키워드를 반영하는 응답을 생성하는 모델을 제안한다. 제안 모델은 주어진 입력 발화에서 self-attention을 사용해 각 토큰에 대한 키워드 점수를 구한다. 키워드 점수가 가장 높은 토큰을 대화의 주제 또는 핵심 내용을 포함하는 키워드로 정의하고 응답 생성 과정에서 키워드와 관련된 응답을 생성하도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 대화 모델의 실험 결과 문법과 입력 발화와 생성한 응답의 관련성 측면에서 성능이 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 관련성 점수는 본 논문에서 제안한 모델이 비교 모델보다 약 0.25점 상승했다. 실험 결과를 통해 본 논문이 제안한 모델의 우수성을 확인하였다.

  • 현재까지 한국어 맞춤법 교정 Task는 대부분 규칙기반 및 통계기반 방식의 연구가 진행되었으며 최근 딥러닝 기반의 한국어 맞춤법 교정에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 맞춤법 교정에서 문법적 또는 철자적으로 틀린 부분을 교정하는 것도 중요하지만 올바른 문장이 입력으로 들어왔을 때 교정을 진행하지 않고 올바른 문장을 출력으로 내보내는 것 또한 중요하다. 규칙기반 맞춤법 교정기 같은 경우 문장의 구조를 흐트러트리지 않고 규칙에 부합하는 오류 부분만 고쳐낸다는 장점이 있으나 신경망 기반의 한국어 맞춤법 교정 같은 경우 Neural Machine Translation(NMT)의 고질적인 문제점인 반복 번역, 생략, UNK(Unknown) 때문에 문장의 구조를 흐트러트리거나 overcorrection(과교정) 하는 경우가 존재한다. 본 논문은 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위하여 Correct to Correct Mechanism을 제안하며 이를 통해 올바른 문장이 입력으로 들어왔을 시 올바른 문장을 출력하는 성능을 높인다.

A Method for Measuring Inter-Utterance Similarity Considering Various Linguistic Features (다양한 언어적 자질을 고려한 발화간 유사도 측정 방법)

  • This paper presents an improved method measuring inter-utterance similarity in an example-based dialogue system, which searches the most similar utterance in a dialogue database to generate a response to a given user utterance. Unlike general inter-sentence similarity measures, the inter-utterance similarity measure for example-based dialogue system should consider not only word distribution but also various linguistic features, such as affirmation/negation, tense, modality, sentence type, which affects the natural conversation. However, previous approaches do not sufficiently reflect these features. This paper proposes a new utterance similarity measure by analyzing and reflecting various linguistic features to improve performance in accuracy. Also, by considering substitutability of the features, the proposed method can utilize limited number of examples. Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves 10%p improvement in accuracy compared to the previous method.

  • 채팅 모델은 인간과 컴퓨터가 신변잡기 대화를 나눌 수 있게 해주는 시스템으로 빠른 속도로 발전하는 인공지능 음성언어 비서 시스템에 필수적으로 사용되는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 검색기반 채팅 모델에서 발생하는 검색 효율 문제와 정확하지 못한 답변을 출력하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 색인어 정규화와 응답 필터링이 적용된 검색기반 채팅 모델을 제안한다. 색인어 정규화를 통해 99.3%의 색인 커버리지를 확보하였으며 필터링 모델을 통해 기존 검색 모델에서보다 향상된 사용자 만족도를 얻었다.

  • The early stage of Korean language education was to understand grammar. However, recent Korean language education aims to improve expressive ability for smooth communication. Hence, educational drama for education has gained attention as one of the effective ways of improving communication skills. Educational drama provides an actual conversational situation in which one can use appropriate words and grammar depending on the situation. Non-verbal expression such as body language and facial expression could be picked up so one also improves one's communicative abilities naturally. This means that educational drama shares Korean language education's goal of improving communicative ability. Moreover, the student becomes the core of the activity and finds solutions through cooperation with others, and this also helps improve social skills and self-esteem. This thesis covers methods of having interviews, re-writing texts to scripts, writing up post-script by imagining the following text, role-playing, and improving expressive ability by debating educational theatrical techniques. To make these activities successful, good quality VOD and learning materials shall be developed and used. Also, efficient training programs shall be created so that teachers make use of what they learn and improve their teaching skills.

  • As a communication language, non-text records and archives such as photographs, images, and videos are becoming more important than text records. As a result, domestic institution, organizations, and specialists related to record management have been emphasizing the necessity of the archive management system appropriate for the distinctive characteristics of image records. This paper summarizes the points to be considered for the establishment of the Korean audiovisual archives management system, based on the writer's experience of participating in the International Audiovisual Archives Management Training for professionals in the world(INA Frame) of 2018. In particular, various types of contents including cinema, broadcasting, cultural should be managed at the national level. Furthermore, the necessity of a new concept establishment for "public audiovisual heritage" is accentuated. In addition, the tasks regarding the establishment of foundation, such as the modification of the related systems and infrastructures, and the layouts of the institution or governance, should be reviewed and revised. Moreover, the preliminary tasks revised, should be lead to the establishment of stable management system for public audiovisual archives of Korea.

  • Since the 2000s, the number of foreign students in Korea has increased considerably. In late 2010, the government's strategy to internationalize higher education will bring the number of foreign students to 140,000 as of 2019 and soon to 200,000 by 2023. As the number of foreign students increases, the happy life of foreign students in Korea has become a very important social issue at a time when the population is shrinking. Increasing the satisfaction level of foreign students living in Korea is a matter that should not be overlooked given that our society will face problems of globalization and population cliff in the future. Recently, the number of Vietnamese students studying in Korea has been on the rise, raising the need to pay attention to their happy study lives. In this study, I would like to suggest a plan for the happy life of Vietnamese students in Korea. To that end, 90 Vietnamese students in Korea were surveyed on their satisfaction with living, economy, welfare environment, university education, language education and overall studying abroad. Foreign students entering Korean society should also work together in terms of living, economy, welfare and education so that they can recognize themselves as a member of our society and live happily abroad.

The Relationship among Toddler's Symbolic Play Level, Mother's Responsiveness and Verbal Interaction (만 2세 영아의 상징놀이 수준과 어머니의 반응성 및 언어유형 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among toddler's symbolic play level, mother's responsiveness and verbal interaction. The subjects were 56 pairs of 24-29 months old toddlers and their mothers. The toddler's symbolic play level was classified using categories by Gowen(1995). The mother's verbal interaction was coded during a 10-minute-free play session with her toddler using Caldera, Huston, and O'Brien's(1989) categories. PICCOLO(The Parenting Interactions with Child Checklist of Observations Linked to Outcomes) by Roggman, Cook, Innocenti, Jump, Norman, & Christiansen(2009) was used to investigate the mother's responsiveness. While the mothers played with their toddlers during a 10-minute-free play session, their interaction were videotaped. The data were analyzed by means, t-test, and correlations. The results of the study were as follows: First, the mean levels of the toddler's symbolic play were in level 3, 'the pretending others'. Also girls spent more symbolic play time with mothers than boys. Second, mothers' responsiveness was generally high in free play with their toddlers. Mothers frequently used 'questions' 'comments' and 'fantasy statements'. Mothers with girls used more 'questions' than mothers with boys. Third, there was a significant relationship among toddler's symbolic play level, mother's responsiveness and verbal interaction. Maternal responsiveness and 'fantasy statements' were positively related with the mean level, and the frequency of play. The 'questions' and 'answers' were also related with symbolic play level and frequency. But 'praise' was negatively related with symbolic play frequency. In conclusion, this study suggested that toddler's symbolic play level was related with mother's responsiveness and verbal interaction during free play.

  • Web-assemblies are a new binary standard designed to improve the performance of Web browser JavaScript. Web-assemblies are becoming a new web standard that can run at near native speed with efficient execution, concise representation, and code written in multiple languages. However, current Web-assembly vulnerability verification is limited to the Web assembly interpreter language, and vulnerability verification of Web-assembly binary itself is insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the safety of the web assembly itself. In this paper, we analyze how to operate the web assembly and verify the safety of the current web-assembly. In addition, we examine vulnerability of existing web -assembly and analyze limitations according to existing safety verification method. Finally, we introduce web-assembly API based fuzzing method to overcome limitation of web-assembly safety verification method. This verifies the effectiveness of the proposed Fuzzing by detecting crashes that could not be detected by existing safety verification tools.

Effect of Proton Pump Inhibitors, Mucolytics and Steroids on Voice Outcomes After Laryngomicrosurgery (후두미세수술 후 양성자펌프억제제, 점액용해제, 스테로이드가 음성에 미치는 영향)

  • Background and Objectives Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), mucolytics, and steroids were commonly recommended after phonomicrosurgery to prevent worsening of vocal fold (VF) scar formation and subglottal swelling. However, there is no consensus about whether laryngeal reflux and thick discharge are associated with the voice outcomes following phonomicrosurgery in benign VF lesions. The purpose of this study is to examine voice outcomes of use of PPIs, mucolytics,and steroids after phonomicrosurgery. Materials and Method This randomized controlled study is performed with patients undergoing laryngomicroscopic surgery for VF polyp and cyst. Participants were randomly assigned to 1) no medication, 2) PPIs, 3) PPIs+mucolytics, and 4) PPIs+mucolytics+steroids for 2 months postoperatively. Grade, roughness, breathiness, asthenia, and strain (GRBAS) scale, stroboscopic examination, aerodynamic assessment, acoustic analysis, and Voice Handicap Index-10 (VHI-10) were performed pre- and post-operatively at 2 months. Parameters were compared among four groups. Results Among 85 patients, a total of 50 patients were included. The VHI-10, perceptual and acoustic parameters improved in all groups after surgery. However, there was no significant difference in those parameters among all groups. Conclusion PPIs, mucolytics, and steroids did not significantly influence voice outcomes after phonomicrosurgery in patients with benign VF lesions.
