The study aims to identify the complex effects of information security (IS) environments and individuals' IS-related perceptions and value dissimilarity that negatively affect insiders' IS compliance activities. In detail, the study aimed to confirm the roles of prospective and inhibitory anxiety, and value dissimilarity in the process in which a competitive psychological climate negatively affects IS compliance intentions. The study obtained 387 samples from the firm's workers with IS-related regulations and verified the research hypotheses established using the AMOS 22.0 and Process 3.1 tools. As a result, the competitive psychological climate negatively affected IS compliance intention by increasing individual's IS-related prospective and inhibitory anxiety. In addition, IS-related value dissimilarity had an interactive effect with prospective and inhibitory anxiety and had a negative effect on IS compliance intention. This study has practical implications in terms of presenting information and values to be provided to employees to achieve internal IS goals and has academic implications in terms of applying the complex effects of IS-related anxiety and value dissimilarity.

Intolerance of Uncertainty is associated with numerous psychopathologies, including generalized anxiety disorders. However, several studies differ in the factor structures applicable for the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS), and there exists a debate regarding the factorial and construct validity. Thus, in the current study, the IUS was newly translated to explore and verify the structures and factors relative to the cultural background of Korea. The study involved an exploratory factor analysis of randomly extracted data from 260 of 533 adults selected. Results determined that a prospective factor of 3 items and inhibitory factor of 5 items was appropriate. In addition, a confirmatory factor analysis and correlation analysis of the remaining 273 data revealed that a structural model comprising of the 8-items two factors model was well suited (x²=37.699, TLI=0.951, CFI=0.969, RMSEA=0.063, SRMR=0.039), and showed significant static correlation with worry, depression, and state-trait anxiety.

Fluorescent images using near-infrared light have no worry about radioactivity, and images can be checked in real time during surgery. Therefore experiments using fluorescent images for monitoring lymph node biopsy are actively under way. Fluorescent imaging equipment uses high heat-generating components such as LED and camera, thus uses water-cooling system as a stable heating suppression means. However in the fluorescent image equipment, the water cooling system takes a large volume which is a disadvantage in terms of miniaturization of the equipment. Even if the air cooling system is used for miniaturizing the equipment, heat generation is a problem. In this paper, we have experimented with the air cooling method using PWM control for the miniaturization of the equipment, and confirmed the constant quality of the fluorescent image and the suppression of the heat generation without any problems even when the equipment is used for a long time.

21세기는 생명, 환경, 정보를 주제로 새 시대를 맞이하고 있다. 20세기 절대빈곤에서 벗어나기 위한 성장제일주의의 경제개발정책은 짧은 시간에 성공적으로 달성되어 높은 문화수준과 산업사회를 이룰 수 있었다. 한편, 국민생활향상과 산업발전에 결정적 역할을 해왔던 수자원개발은 동강에서, 시화호에서, 지리산, 인천 앞바다에서 개발 부작용으로 생태와 환경이 심한 몸살을 앓기 시작하고 있다. WTO에 의한 시장개방으로 생산구조가 붕괴되고 농촌지역이 공동화될 것을 걱정하고 있다. 누군가는 농촌에서 농사를 짓고 살아야만 국가의 산업구조가 유지되고 아름다운 국토의 자연환경을 보전할 수 있다. 농촌은 식량생산을 위한 공간과 인간생활을 위한 공간 등 두 가지 기능을 가진 공간이다. 쾌적한 농촌을 이룩하려면 농업생산성을 향상시켜 농업소득을 높이고, 농공단지의 활성화와 농촌관광과 휴양시설에 의한 농외소득을 강화해야 한다. 또한, 농업은 식량의 안정적 공급은 물론 홍수 및 토양침식 억제, 수자원함양, 수질정화, 대기정화, 생물 다양성 등 환경보전적 기능이 WTO에 대응하여 쌀시장을 지킬 수 있는 논리로 새롭게 평가받고 있다. George Brokeway (경제인의 종말, 1991)의 “ 이윤극대화라는 경제원칙이 인간의 자연파괴와 기상이변 앞에 모순을 드러내고 있어 경제학의 인간화를 요구하고 있다.”는 지적에 비교우위론자들은 다시 한번 귀기울여주기 바란다.

In contrary to the expectation of which it has a role to increase the transparency of and the responsibility of self-governing, the participatory budgeting even though aggravates perfunctoriness of participation and local conflicts in Korea. The problems are caused not from the institutional vices of participatory budgeting but from others which each part of people, participating in the budgeting process, have a misunderstanding on the participatory budgeting. Under the consideration that the misunderstandings of citizen and local officials are one of main reasons of a derailing of the participatory budgeting, the study aims to examine empirically the gap between the citizen's understanding on the participatory budgeting and the official's, focused on Daeduck-ku, Daejeon.

The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in longevity factors for 3 age groups: centenarians, octogenarians, and sexagenarians. There were 389 elderly Korean subjects who participated in this study. This included 109 centenarians who participated in the 1-wave study that examined the longevity factors using the health behaviors and psychological reactions. The study that examined the longevity factors by using odds ratio of the logistic regression analysis. The major findings indicate that female centenarians and octogenarians scored the highest in abstinence from alcoholic drinking than males from these same 2 age groups (OR=9.04, CI=4.04, 20.24). Centenarians scored higher in non-visiting hospitals (OR=11.48, CI=5.56, 23.70) and showed little emotion when watching sad scenes, upon comparison with the younger 2 age groups. Also, centenarians scored higher in laughter (OR=11.59, CI=5.04, 26.63), showing no anxiety (OR=12.49, CI=6.42, 24.32), and displaying indifference towards games, when compared with the younger 2 age groups. The findings imply that Korean centenarian leads to a life of longevity is the result not only of psychological reactions but also of health behaviors. Also, these results support future studies of improvement of longevity factors.

The purpose of this paper is to examine learning motivational process models, based on Self-Determination Theory(SDT) in academic settings. I examined if SDT's assumptions would fit for Korean adolescents, using a learning motivation scale(LMS), Basic Needs-autonomy, competence, and relatedness-Satisfaction Scale(BNSS), academic grades and life-quality scales, and also tried to search for the adequate motivational process models for Korean adolescents through regression analysis and structural equation model analysis. The results of this study are as follows. Basic needs satisfaction influences positively on the development of self-determinative motivation, which influences positively on academic achievement. But academic achievement and self-determinative motivation doesn't always influence on subjective well-being positively. And Korean adolescents who study autonomously or achieve good grades, are not better in a dimension of subjective well-being than others. Basic needs satisfaction while growing is more important than any other variables to improve adolescents' autonomous motivation, academic achievement and subjective life qualities.
