A Study on the Web-based Map Algebraic Processor (웹 기반 지도대수 처리기에 관한 연구)

  • "The "Map Algebra", beeing recognized as a viable theoretical framework for GIS (Geographica Infonnation System), models map layers as "operands" which are the basic unit of geo-processing, and a variety of GIS commands as "operators." In this paper, we attempt at lifting some limitations of map algebras proposed in GIS literature. First, we model map layer as "function" such that we may employ the notion of meta operator (or, higher-order funtion) available in the functional programming paradigm. This approach provides map algebraic language with "programmability" needed in GIS user language. Second, we extend the semantics of, and improve on the sytactic structure of map algebraic language. Mer the data model and language associated with map algebra are formalized, we proceed to design and implement a prototype of map algebraic processor. The parser of the language in our prototype plays the role of transforming the native and heterogeneous user language of current GISs into a canonical map algebraic language. The prototype, named "MapSee" is a proof-of-concept system for the ideas we propsed in this paper. We believe that the uniform interface based on the map algebraic language will make promising infrastructure to support "Internet GIS." This is because the uniform but powerful interface through the Web clients allow access to both geo-data and geo-processing resources distributed over the network.to both geo-data and geo-processing resources distributed over the network.

  • We improve a new probabilistic public key cryptosystem, in which the one wav function was defined only on the discrete logarithmic functions, proposed by Okamoto and Uchiyama. The plaintexts are calculated from the modular product of two these functions, one of which has a fixed value depending on a given public key. The improvement is achieved by a well-chosen public key assuming an unit element 1 as the fixed function value. Because it is possible to reduce the number of operations at the decryption. Also the concrete method for a public key of our improved scheme is suggested.

  • 2000년 후반을 기준으로 서울시는 인구 1,030만명(남한 전체인구의 25%), 가구 수 350만 가구, 자동차 등록대수는 240만대(남한 전체등록대수의 20%)인 반면, 서울시 전체면적은 605.5 $\textrm{km}^2$으로서 전체 남한 면적의 약 0.6%에 해당하는 거대도시이다 또한 대기오염측면에서 볼 때, 대기오염물질이 확산되기 어려운 분지형태이고, '88-'92년 동안의 대기안정도를 산출한 결과, 약한 안정 및 안정상태가 45% 정도로 대기오염 확산이란 측면에서 매우 불리한 특성을 지니고 있다(어수미 등, 1997) 이러한 토시에서 빈번하게 일어날 수 있는 대기오염현상이 Haze(or smog)이며, 시정장애가 동반된다.   • We investigate a probabilistic public key cryptosystem proposed by Paillier. It is based on the discrete logarithmic function and the messages are calculated from the modular product of two those functions, one of which has a fixed value depending on a given public key. The improvement is achieved by a good choice for the public key so that it is possible to get efficient schemes without losing the onewayness and semantic security. Also we suggest the method to get the public key for our schemes.

  • Diffie-Hellman 의 공개 키 암호 프로토콜이 제안된 이후 이산 대수 문제의 어려움이 프로토콜의 안전도와 깊이 연관되었다. 유한체를 이용한 암호 기법을 ElGamal 이 세웠으나, Index-Calculus 알고리듬에 의해 유한체위 에서 이산 대수 문제가 subexponential 알고리듬이되 어 ElGamal 기법의 안전도가 약해졌다. Nonsupersingular타원 곡선을 선택하여 유한체대신 ElGamal 암호 기법에 적용하면 안전한 암호 시스템을 설계할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 콤퓨터 구현시 용이한 nonsupersingular 타원 곡선을 선택하는 방법, 유한체위에서의 연산, 평문을 타원 곡선의 원소로 임베드(Imbedding) 하는 방법 등 타원 곡선을 암호시스템에 적응하기 어려운 점들에 대한 해결 방법을 소개하고, 실제로 콤퓨터로 구현하여 그 실행 결과와 ElGamal 기법을 개선한 Schnorr 기법을 실행한 결과를 밝혔다.

  • Sea dike construction for the tidal flat reclamation works in estuary and coast may change the characteristics of tidal motion and wave conditions in the region. In turn, a new hydraulic condition provides the impacts on sediment transport pattern and forms a new morphological environment. Also, morphological changes during the closure works of sea dike are closely related with a safy of sea dike. Therefore, the prediction of morphological changes is required secure the safe closure work and the economic design of sea dikes. To investigate morphological changes due to sea dike construction, hydrodynamic changes of tides and waves have to be evaluated, then sediment transport and sea bottom changes are computed. Mathematical modelling is required for representation of interrelation of tidal motion, wave and sediment transport. In this study, numerical model MORSYS is applied to compute the hydrodynamics and morphological changes around the closure gap for Saemankuem dike. This model allows a flexible integration of the module for waves, currents, sediment transport and bottom changes.

  • 2009년 우리나라의 자동차 등록 대수는 1,700만 대를 넘어섰고, 곧 2,000만 대를 넘어설 것이라고 한다. 1911년 고종황제의 어차로 국내에 겨우 2대의 차량이 도입 된지 100년 만에 실로 엄청나게 많은 자동차가 등장하게 된 것이다. 그뿐만 아니라 황제가 타던 차에서 이제는 출근이나 쇼핑은 물론이고, 가족과 함께 즐거운 여행을 떠나는 데도 없어서는 안 될 생활필수품이 되었다. 하지만 이렇게 편리함을 주는 자동차가 때론 운전 미숙으로 인해 가족들에게 씻을 수 없는 큰 상처를 남기기도 한다. 그렇다면 자동차 속에는 어떤 과학적인 원리가 숨어있는 것일까?

  • A systematic procedure to design fuzzy PID controllers is developed in this paper. The concept of local fuzzy control cell is proposed by introducing both an adequate global control rule and membership functions to simplify a fuzzy logic controller. Fuzzy decision is made by using algebraic product and parallel firing arithematic mean, and a defuzzification strategy is adopted for improving the computational efficiency based on nonfuzzy micro-processor. A direct method, transforming the typical output of quasi-linear fuzzy operator to the digital compensator of PID form, is also proposed. Finally, the proposed algorithm is applied to an DC-servo motor. It is found that this algorithm is systematic and robust through computer simulations and implementation of controller using Intel 8097 micro-processor.
