The Jurassic granites, commercially called Yangu stone in the Pocheon-Euijeongbu area, have generally compact and coarse-grained textures, which could be classified into two types; grey granite(Gg) and light pink granite(Gp). Specific gravity, absorption ratio and prosity of Gg and Gp in physical property are 2.64 and 2.61, 0.32 % and 0.44 %, 0.86% and 1.13 %, respectively. These higher values of two latters of Gp than those of Gg are due to the more abundant microcracks in Gp. Compressive strength og Gg than those of Gg are due to more abundant microcracks in Gp. Compressive strength og Gg and Gp are 1,726 kg/cm2 and 1,717 kg/cm, respectively and bestrength has a positive proportion with Qz+Af+Pl(quartz+alkali feldspar+plagioclase) modes without trending with Bt+Ac(biotite+accessories). Tensile strength has the positive proportions with Qz+Af+Pl and Bt+Ac. While Bt+Ac has a negative trend with abrasive hardness, Qz+A+Pl shows a positive one. These may suggest Qz+Af+Pl mainly affects on strenghts potentional dimension stone than Gp.

Purpose: The study examined obesity conditions and related factors in middle aged Korean women who had been diagnosed as obese based body mass index (BMI) or waist circumference (WC) measurement. Presently, BMI alone, WC alone, or BMI + WC were used as obesity measures. Methods: Subjects were 488 women 40~64 years of age living in one city, Korea. Structured questionnaires concerning general characteristics, health behavior practices, and chronic disease history were completed by each subject. Results: The proportions of obesity were 42.4% by BMI, 39.3% by WC, and 51.3% by the combination of both measurements. Chi-square test revealed significant associations of obesity with age, education level, menopausal status, frequency of excessive eating, and history of diabetes mellitus or hypertension. These associations were similar for the three measurement schemes. There was significant positive relationship between BMI and WC, whereas the relationship between BMI and WHR (waist-hip ratio) was not significant. Conclusions: The combination of BMI and WC measurement may be a valid way to evaluate the obesity status in middle-aged women. Developing an obesity management program that includes control of excessive eating, and consideration of menopausal status and history of chronic diseases would be prudent.

과거 식물상에 대한 정보가 없었던 경기도 양주시 장흥면에 위치한 장군봉(425.0 m)의 식물상을 2020년 4월부터 10월까지 총 3회에 걸쳐 조사하였다. 본 조사에서 확인된 조사지 내 관속식물은 양치식물 8과 10속 9종 1변종 10분류군, 나자식물 3과 4속 6종 6분류군, 쌍자엽식물 62과 144속 198종 7아종 16변종 2품종 223분류군, 단자엽식물 6과 29속 38종 1아종 5변종 1픔종 45분류군으로 총 284분류군을 확인할 수 있었다. 장군봉 일대의 특산식물은 은사시나무 (Populus tomentiglandulosa T.B.Lee), 키버들 (Salix koriyanagi Kimura), 병꽃나무 (Weigela subsessilis (Nakai) L.H.Bailey), 백운산원추리 (Hemerocallis hakuunensis Nakai)의 4분류군이 분포하고 있었고 산림청에서 지정한 희귀식물로는 취약종 (VU) 등급의 주목 (Taxus cuspidata Siebold & Zucc.) 1분류군이 확인되었다. 느릅나무 (Ulmus davidiana var. japonica (Rehder) Nakai)를 포함하여 I등급 10종, 함박꽃나무 (Magnolia sieboldii K.Koch) 등 II등급 4종, 병조희풀 (Clematis heracleifolia DC.) 등 III등급 8종, IV등급에 해당하는 바위말발도리 (Deutzia grandiflora var. baroniana Diels) 등 총 25종이 식물구계학적특정종에 속했다. 침입외래식물은 미국자리공 (Phytolacca americana L.), 유럽점나도나물 (Cerastium glomeratum Thuill.), 청비름 (Amaranthus viridis L.) 등 20분류군을 확인할 수 있었고, 생태계교란야생식물인 환삼덩굴 (Humulus japonicus Sieboid & Zucc.), 돼지풀 (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.), 단풍잎돼지풀 (Ambrosia trifida L.), 미국쑥부쟁이 (Aster pilosus Willd.)의 4분류군이 확인되었다.

본 연구에서는 DMZ 일원인 경기도 파주시 광탄면과 양주군 백석면에 걸쳐있는 박달산(363m) 주변의 관속식물상을 조사하였다. 파주시는 동쪽은 양주시, 서쪽은 한강을 경계로 김포시, 북부는 임진강을 경계로 북한과 접하고 있다. 남쪽은 고양시, 북쪽은 연천군에 접하고 있으며, 북위 37° 42'~38° 07', 동경 126° 41'~127° 01'에 위치한다. 박달산은 파주시 광탄면 경계에 위치하였으며, 현재 명칭은 박달나무가 많아서 박달산이라고 부르고 있으나 예전에는 독수리가 많아서 수리봉이라는 명칭으로 부르기도 했다. 박달산 주변에 분포하는 관속식물 현황은 79과 211속 288종 3아종 36변종 4품종 331분류군으로 조사되었다. 양치식물은 5과 10속 11종 1변종 12분류군, 나자식물은 2과 3속 5종 5분류군, 쌍자엽식물은 63과 154속 208종 3아종 22변종 3품종 236분류군, 단자엽식물 9과 44속 61종 13변종 1품종 78분류군으로 조사되었다. 희귀식물은 취약종(VU)에 속하는 왜박주가리(Tylophora floribunda Miq.) 1분류군, 약관심종(LC)에 속하는 태백제비꽃(Viola albida Palib.), 이팝나무(Chionanthus retusus Lindl. & Paxton) 2분류군이 조사되었다. 특산식물은 키버들(Salix koriyanagi Kimura), 외대으아리(Clematis brachyuran Maxim.), 서울제비꽃(Viola seoulensis Nakai), 오동나무(Paulownia coreana Uyeki), 백운산원추리(Hemerocallis hakuunensis Nakai) 5분류군이 조사되었다. 침입외래식물은 가시박(Sicyos angulatus L.), 단풍잎돼지풀(Ambrosia trifida L.), 돼지풀(Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) 등 28분류군으로 조사되었다.

This study aims to verify the accuracy of the air quality management system in Yangju City using an artificial intelligence (AI) evaluation model. The consistency and reliability of fine dust data were assessed by comparing public data from the Ministry of Environment with data from Yangju City's air quality management system. To this end, we analyzed the completeness, uniqueness, validity, consistency, accuracy, and integrity of the data. Exploratory statistical analysis was employed to compare data consistency. The results of the AI-based data quality index evaluation revealed no statistically significant differences between the two datasets. Among AI-based algorithms, the random forest model demonstrated the highest predictive accuracy, with its performance evaluated through ROC curves and AUC. Notably, the random forest model was identified as a valuable tool for optimizing the air quality management system. This study confirms that the reliability and suitability of fine dust data can be effectively assessed using AI-based model performance evaluation, contributing to the advancement of air quality management strategies.

Because the magnetic bearing supports levitating body without contact, wear, noise and vibration are very small comparing with mechanical bearings, it is very useful to high revolution machinery. In general, the magnetic attractive force function that is proportional to square of control current(x), and inversely proportional to square of an air gap(i) has been widely used. This paper proposed the new magnetic attractive force function that is proportional to cube of the control current, and inversely proportional to square of the air gap. The function was optimized to minimize the cost function that is the percentage of deviation about the change of a proportional constant(k), using the experimental data, ie, control currents and air gaps.

현재 대부분의 데스크탑 시스템에서 사용자는 단지 하나의 마우스를 사용해서 컴퓨터와 상호작용을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각각의 손으로 동시에 두 개의 마우스들을 사용할 때, 작업 성능에 대한 효과를 살펴보고자 한다. 본 논문에서의 실험에서는 데스크탑 환경에 기반한 간단한 게임 (날아오는 총알 피하기와 잡기)에서 세 개의 독립 변수들로 한 손 또는 양 손 사용 여부, 주위 상황(총알)의 변화 속도, 그리고 두 커서(캐릭터)들간의 거리 차이를 사용하고, 종속 변수로 사용자의 작업 성능(부딪친 총알 개수)을 측정하였다. 실험 결과에 의하면, 두 커서 (또는 두 캐릭터)와의 동시 상호작용이 필요할 때 한 손보다는 양 손을 사용할 때의 작업 성능이 통계적으로 유의하게 좋았고, 두 커서 사이에 거리가 멀수록, 그리고 총알의 속도가 느릴수록 작업 성능은 유의하게 좋았다. 독립 변수들 사이에는 서로 유의한 교호작용이 나타나지 않았는데, 이것은 작업 성능에 대한 양손의 효과가 다른 독립 변수들의 각 레벨과는 상관이 없었다는 것을 의미한다.

In order to achieve high capacity and reliable link quality in user communication, this paper proposes a new concept of virtual cell: the Dual Virtual Cell(DVC), and DVC employment strategy based on DWCS. The proposed system uses two kinds of virtual cell. One is the AVC(Active Virtual Cell) which exists for actual traffic and the other is the CVC(Candidate Virtual Cell) which contains a set of candidate antennas to protect user's link quality from performance degradation or interruption. And also this system aims to reduce MT's overloads and acheive a prompt link change successfuly by introducing DVC structure which makes it possible for network to monitor real-time channel and to conrol communication links. The proposed system constructs DVC by using antenna selection method and improves frame error performance with employing Space-Time Trellis Code(STTC).

In most of electrical applications using Bi-2223/Ag HTS tapes, bending and tension stresses are essentially applied to the tape. Therefore, the critical current of the Bi-2223/Ag tape is degraded by increasing the deformation stress, though brittle superconducting filaments are embedded in the reinforced Ag alloy sheath. It is needed to understand bending and tension properties of HTS tapes at room temperature and cryogen to make superconducting magnet, cable and etc. using Bi-2223/Ag HTS tapes. Actually, bending and tension stress applied to the tapes simultaneously, when winding the tapes on former for applications. In this study, the effect of mechanical deformations, bending and tension, on the critical current of Bi-2223/Ag tape was investigated.
