The purpose of this research is to study the meanings and characteristics of qualitative research method in LIS. As the philosophy and epistemology of qualitative research are widely different from those of quantitative research, the meaning of validity and reliability must be interpreted in its ow9 structure and dimension. Essentially qualitative researchers seek to understand and interpret the world of others from their own viewpoints which basically tend to be subjective. Accordingly, qualitative researchers‘ understandings and interpretations are met with readers' subjectivity. By carefully analyzing the nature of qualitative research in LIS, I tried to point out some problems in terms of validity and reliability and practical strategies. Six problems issued in the qualitative research method are presented.

우리나라 연근해 어업자원은 어종 수는 많으나 양적으로 뚜렷한 우세종이 없는 것이 특징이며, 어업형태도 복수어종을 대상으로 하거나 단일어종을 복수어업으로 어획하는 것이 대부분이다. 이러한 다종어업에 대하여 단일어종에 대한 자원평가모델을 적용하는 것은 효과적인 방법이 될 수 없다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 다종자원평가 방법과 관리방안을 모색해 보았다. (중략)

다양한 응용 목적의 대규모 실용적 언어지식 구축을 위해서는 한국어의 모든 언어현상을 수용할 수 있는 이상적인 언어지식(optimal linguistic knowledge) 획득을 목표로 연구해 나가야 한다. 본 연구에서 언어지식의 획득은 주어진 말뭉치의 분석을 통해 이루어진다. 주어진 말뭉치에서 새로운 언어현상이 발견되었을 경우, 기존의 언어지식은 새로운 언어현상을 수용할 뿐만 아니라 기존에 발견되었던 언어현상도 함께 수용할 수 있도록 바뀌어져야 한다. 이러한 변화의 원칙이 보장되어야만 언어지식의 양적 확장과 함께 질적 확장을 이룰 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 언어지식의 질적 확장을 언어지식의 수렴성이라고 정의하고 수렴성 보장을 위한 방법론을 연구한다. 수렴성 보장을 위해서는 먼저 언어지식 획득과정이 공정화, 자동화되어야 하고 언어지식이 변화할 때 수렴을 확인하는 과정이 필요하다. 수렴을 확인하기 위하여 구문구조 데이터베이스와 역사전(Inverted Dictionary)을 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. 지금까지는 언어지식의 양적 확장에만 치중해 왔으나 본 연구에서 제안된 방법으로 언어지식이 구축된다면 질적 확장도 함께 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

정보통신 및 IT 기술의 획기적 발전으로 인해 오늘 날 우리가 접할 수 있는 정보는 그 양적 질적 측면 비약적인 성장을 거듭하고 있다. 또한 인터넷 보급의 활성화로 대부분의 사람들은 다양한 종류 및 형식으로 구성된 정보 속에서 지내고 있다. 특히 현재 웹 기반의 정보는 날이 갈수록 대량화 고수준화를 향해 내닫고 있다. 이에 반해 정보 소외계층의 한 부류로 인식되고 있는 시각장애 사용자들은 그들의 신체적 환경적 요인으로 인해 원하는 정보를 쉽게 획득하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 시각장애를 가진 사용자를 위한 효율적 웹 기반 교육 서비스 인터페이스 구현의 방법을 제시하는 것이 그 목적이다. 이에 현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 Screen Reader S/W의 기능적 고찰을 통해 시각장애를 가지고 있는 웹 사용자들에게 사용상의 편의 및 양적 및 질적 측면에서의 보다 나은 정보를 제공할 수 있는 웹 기반 교육 서비스의 인터페이스 구현 방법에 대한 연구를 실제 구현을 통한 그 만족도의 측정을 통해 알아보려 한다.

This study analyzes life experiences and prospects of poverty/welfare exit of the poor with work ability utilizing Mixed methodology. Based on Sequential Exploratory Design, it qualitatively analyzes 3 waves of qualitative panel data linked to Korea Welfare Panel Study(KWPS) and presents life changes of 14 poor in the context of their prospects of welfare/poverty exit. Then it proposes hypotheses on the role of education, household economy expectation, self-esteem in the prospects of poverty/welfare exit following the sequential exploratory design to quantitatively test qualitative findings utilizing KWPS(7th). The outcomes of the Structural Equation Model(SEM) suggest that household economy expectation plays mediating role between education and the prospects of welfare/poverty exit. This implies that anti-poverty policy needs to consider a psychological approach to enhance household economy expectations of the poor as well as other material support.

질적인 속성을 양적인 계열로 전환하여 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하는 과정에서 서스톤, 리커트, 어의분별 및 커트만 척도 등을 많이 활용한다. 이 측도들 중 우리는 리커트 척도에 대해 알아보고, 응답이 애매한 리커트 척도의 자료를 퍼지화하는 방법을 제안하고 그 자료에 대한 분석 방법을 연구하려고 한다.

It is important to identify the interaction of genes about human disease and characteristic value. Many studies as like logistic analysis, have associated being pursued, but, previous methods did not consider the sub-group of the genotypes. So, QTL interactions and the GMM (genotype matrix mapping) have been developed. In this study, we detect the superior genotype combination to have an impact on economic traits of Korean cattle based on the study over GMM method. Thus, we identified interaction effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) responsible for average daily gain(ADG), marbling score (MS), carcass cold weight (CWT), longissimus muscle dorsiarea (LMA) using GMM method. In addition, we examine significance of the major genotype combination selected by implementing permutation test of the F-measure which was not obtained by Sachiko et al.

This study applied virtual reality to women health nursing practicum for nursing students and analyzed the educational effect on meta-cognition and critical thinking. The study design was a convergent mixed method using single-group pre-post test design and individual in-depth interviews. After applying the virtual reality program, the post-score (104.16±12.98) was statistically significantly higher than the pre-score (98.59±18.09) (t=1.85, p=.030). There was no statistically significant difference in critical thinking after the program, with the post-score of 101.66±7.18 and the pre-score of 99.18±15.13 (t=1.00, p=.108). Therefore, women health nursing practice education using virtual reality can help improve the meta-cognition of nursing students.

The purpose of this research is to analyze research trends of kindergarten and child care center directors focusing on the articles in a journal of early childhood education in Korea. For this, I divided and analyzed 162 articles of related early childhood education directors contained in the National Research Foundation of Korea. The National Research Foundation of Korea listed eight journals from 1991 to 2013, according to the study period, study topic and study method. As a result of this research, first, the research trends in the study period show that until 2003 less than 5 articles were published while gradually increasing since 2004 and the director-related papers were published in the 20 pieces every year from 2009. Second, concerning the study topic, the most common topic was about 'institutional management of director', and 'director leadership', and 'role and duties', and 'quality' were followed. Third, types of study included many quantitative studies but they are decreasing recently and qualitative studies tended to increase since 2006. There are many studies for the teacher and data collection methods have been utilized frequently having questions marked distinct by quantitative research. Data analysis was being used a lot with quantitative analysis. These results of the study imply that it is necessary to execute studies of topics such as a director's leadership and core competencies and to diversify study subjects and methods on the kindergarten and child care center directors.

원격 교사 연수는 기존의 교사 연수를 보완할 수 있는 장점 때문에 그동안 많은 양적인 증대가 있었다. 그러나 이제 양적인 증대와 아울러 그 질적인 면도 같이 고려해야 할 때이다. 기존의 원격연수는 시간과 공간의 제약성과 연수생의 개별학습을 고려한다는 장정이 있지만 연수 강사와 연수생간의 상호작용의 문제점, 연수생의 요구에 부합하지 못하고 현장 적용성이 떨어지는 연수내용, 명확하지 못하고 획일적인 평가방법, 연수강사의 질, 교수 학습 모형 등과 같은 문제점들이 제기 되고 있다. 특히 원격 교사 연수의 핵심인 교수법을 향상시키기 위해서는 실제적이고 객관적인 평가 방법이 필요할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교사의 언어적, 비언어적 행위에 대한 분석을 기반으로 하는 웹기반 평가의 프로토타입을 개발하여 교수법을 향상시키고자 한다.
