건축을 하는데 있어 무엇보다 중요한 것은 정확한 설계, 시공 및 뛰어난 기술력이며, 각 부분 부분마다의 정확성과 뛰어난 기술이 어우러져 튼튼하고 아름다운 집이 탕생하게 되는 것이다. 이런 조건은 충족시키는 첫 번째 요소라 할 수 있는 국내 건축용 외장재 시장은 약 1조원대의 시장을 형성하고 있으며, 전체 건축비의 약 10%정도를 차지한다. 건축용 외장재 시장은 석재, 유리, 알루미늄, 아연도금철판의 기본 소재에 다양한 가공을 통하여 제품을 생산하고 있으며, 가공 및 시공의 편의성으로 인해 금속계 패널이 점진적으로 시장을 주도하고 있다. 금속계 패널은 크게 복합판넬과 sheet 패널시장으로 양분되며, sheet패널시장이 약 20%정도의 시장을 차지하고 있다. 해외의 경우, 유럽과 일본은 알루미늄계열의 패널과 미국은 철판계열의 패널이 시장을 주도하고 있다.

-편집주- ㆍ이사진들(ARCHITECTURE WITHOUT ARCHITECTS)은 1964년 11월 9일부터 1965년 2월 7일까지 약 4개월간에 걸쳐서 미국의 현대미술관에서 전시된 작품들로서 이 전시회는 현대미술관의 국제부의 협찬하에서 건축가 B. Rudofsky가 연구, 제작, 편집, 전시 및 디자인까지 도맡아 완성한 것이며, ㆍ이 비형식적이라 할 수 있는 건축물의 전시를 함에 있어서는 죤ㆍ시몬ㆍ구겐하임재단과 포드재단의 재정적인 지원을 받아서 이 계획의 연구를 이룰 수 있었으며 또한 건축가 Walter Gropius, Pietro Belluschi, Jose' Luis Sert, Richard Neutra, Gio Ponti, Kenzo Tange 등의 열광적인 협조와 추천으로서 이들 작품의 전시가 가능했다고 한다. ㆍ본 자료를 제공해주신 조창한 선생님에게 감사를 드립니다.

오늘의 건축은 이미 개인적인 창조의 범위를 넘어서있다. 한나라의 문화는 지방문화의 배경없이는 이루어지지 않는다. 지금 우리에게 요구되고 있는 것은 전반적인 수준의 향상이다. 본 협회는 지방 건축의 발전을 위한 시도의 하나로 순회강연회를 계획하고 있다. 그 계획의 일환으로 지난 8월 14일 부산에서 하기건축강좌를 가졌다. 부산지부회원과 그 보조원들이 약200여명 모인 강연회가 끝난후 이어서 지부회원들과 서울서 내려간 연사와 김동규이사 등 서울 회원간에 건축전반에 관한 장시간의 토론이 있었다. 이하는 강연요지를 간추린 것이다.

This study examined an effective way of measuring the evacuation performance in buildings, which are applied to a double skin facade through an evaluation of the escape safety. Buildings with a double skin facade appeared to have a faster combustion expansion speed for the upper floor if a fire occurs. Moreover, a double skin facade is more difficult to escape safely than a general building construction because of the limited design standards. Accordingly, this study suggested virtual modeling including single emergency stairs and alarm systems considering the risk in each structure of buildings. These results showed that box-type double skin, corridor access type, shaft-box type, and multistory facade systems showed a 26.4%, 29.1%, 23.4%, and 26.3% increase in evacuation performance, respectively, as well as securing the safety of occupants.

The purpose of this study is to derive risk events that occurred during aircraft runway construction and analyze loss costs for project participants. For this purpose, design change data, contracted statement and completed statement were investigated. The results of this study are as follows: There were 12 risk events in the process of construction, 5 design errors and 7 construction errors. The increased construction costs due to such risk events were calculated as KRW 726 million. Of the KRW 726 million that was increased due to risk events, about 52.57% was spent by the ordering agency, and about 47.43% contractors. The increased construction costs due to such risk events are about 4.86% of the direct construction costs of KRW 14.9 billion. Based on the results derived from these case studies, a method for estimating reserve costs and construction costs considering risk events is presented.

우리나라와 일본의 건축음향 및 소음.진동분야의 상호 발전을 도모하고 관련 전문가의 교류 및 협력을 목적으로 한국소음진동공학회, 대한거축학회 및 일본음향학회가 공동 주최하고 대한주택공사와 삼성건설이 후원한 한.일 건축음향 및 소음.진동 세미나가 1995년 12월 8-9일 이틀간 삼성건설 국제회의실에서 개최되었다. 첫째날에는 일본 비도건설의 염용정순과 녹도건설의 안등계이 "일본에 있어서의 연구시설 동향"에 대한 특별강연이 있었으며, 두번째날에는 한국측에서 4편, 일본측에서 6편 등 총 10편의 논문이 발표되었다. 본 세미나에는 우리나라의 학계, 산업계 및 연구기관의 관련 전문가 약 90여명, 일본측에서는 일본음향학회 건축소음분과위원회 암뢰소웅 위원장과 소음.진동분과위원회 고목흥일 위원장 및 회원 13명이 참석하였으며, 논문이 발표될 때마다 열띤 토론이 전개되었다. 이 글에서는 본 세미나에서 발표된 논문들을 요약 정리한 것이다.약 정리한 것이다.
