  • Smartphone is becoming popular from younger generation to old generation because of its convenience. Generalizing use of smartphone, it was being developed and released for education application from based on PC to smartphone. in this paper, this application was designed and developed an helpful and enjoyable application for those who very interested child education. in this paper, suggestion of the propose of education is provided on service various contetns. The children can do implement information about organism characters living in sea just selected them they want without going to sea and aquarium whenever they want. this application is implemented that children also can be relearning the organism characters by quiz that already learned them before, and developing artistic sense, creativity and imagination by coloring exercise.

  • Recently, smart phones based on Android platform have been widely used, and lots of applications have been developed. Data generated from an application are frequently transferred to other applications. Therefore, a method that can easily transfer or share meta-data among applications is required. Generally meta-data created by android applications are java objects. The android platform uses clipboard, intent and content provider in order to transfer data among the applications. However, those ways are designed to transfer data as a record. So these methods have to marshall the object to a record and unmarshall the record to an object. In this paper, we designed and implemented the MetaService which can transfer any type of object made by applications. When the MetaService is used, we can reduce complex implementations such as clipboards and content providers and we can reduce many bugs. Therefore, we can make the applications simple and increase productivity.

  • 에너지 관리시스템(EMS)은 전력계통 제어용 종합 자동화 설비로서 전력계통 운영의 효율성과 전력공급의 신뢰도 향상을 위해 운용되고 있다. EMS의 중요한 기능중 하나는 일련의 계통해석 애플리케이션들을 통해 전력계통의 상태를 해석하여 안전도를 감시하고 평가하는 것이다. 이러한 계통해석 애플리케이션들은 상호간에 데이터의 일관성을 유지하기 위해 하나의 동일한 전력계통모델을 사용하여야 하며, 주어진 시간에서 여러 개의 독립적인 기능이 순차적으로 실행하여 계통의 상태정보를 실시간으로 제공해야 하므로 데이터의 입출력이 매우 빠르게 이뤄질 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 이러한 실시간 애플리케이션이 요구하는 신뢰성과 성능을 만족하기 위해서는 공통 네트워크 모델 기반의 데이터베이스와 그에 맞게 애플리케이션을 위한 데이터 입출력 구조나 기능을 설계하여야 한다. 본 논문은 전력IT 국가전략과제로 개발 진행 중인 한국형 EMS(이하 K-EMS)의 계통해석 애플리케이션을 위한 데이터베이스의 구조와 애플리케이션을 구성하는 세부기능들의 구조를 이러한 관점에서 기술하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 아고다 사이트의 호텔 정보를 크롤링하여 사용자의 선호 호텔을 구글에서 제공하는 Tensorflow로 인공신경망 딥러닝 학습하여 사용자가 선호하는 호텔을 맞춤 추천하는 애플리케이션의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 서술한다. 본 애플리케이션은 해외(베트남) 호텔을 취향에 맞게 추천받을 수 있도록 만들어진 애플리케이션으로 기존의 필터링 방식으로 추천하는 방식의 애플리케이션들과 달리 사용자의 취향을 딥러닝 학습을 통해 파악하고 최적의 호텔 정보를 추천하는 기능을 제공한다. 본 애플리케이션에 사용된 선호 호텔 예측 모델은 약 84%의 정확도를 보이며 추천 별점으로 표시되어 사용자가 각 호텔에 대해 얼마만큼 선호도를 갖는지 알 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 공공 데이터 Open API와 TMDB(The Movie Database) API를 이용하여 사용자의 선호 영화를 Google에서 제공해주는 Tensoflow로 인공신경망 딥러닝 학습하여 사용자가 선호하는 영화를 맞춤 추천하는 애플리케이션의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 서술한다. 본 애플리케이션은 사용자가 쉽게 영화를 추천받을 수 있도록 만들어진 애플리케이션으로 기존의 필터링 방식으로 추천하는 방식의 애플리케이션들과 달리 사용자의 취향을 딥러닝 학습을 통해 최적의 영화 Contents를 추천함과 아울러 기존 영화의 특성을 학습하여 흥행할 신규 영화를 예측하는 기능 또한 제공한다. 본 애플리케이션에 사용된 신규 영화 흥행 예측 모델은 약 85%의 정확도를 보이며 사용자 맞춤추천의 경우 기존 장르 추천이나 협업 필터링 추천보다 딥러닝을 통한 장르, 감독, 배우 등의 보다 세밀한 학습 추천이 가능하다.

Development of a Lane Departure Warning Application on a Smartphone (스마트폰용 차선이탈경보 애플리케이션 개발)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop and optimize a lane departure warning application based on a smartphone which can be applicable as a new platform for various mobile information applications. Recently, a lane detection warning system which is a representative application among safe driving assistant solutions is being commercialized. Due to the necessity of powerful embedded hardware platform and its price, its market is still not growing. In this research, it is proposed to develop and optimize a lane departure warning application on iPhone 3GS. OpenCV is used for efficient image processing, and for lane detection a heuristic algorithm based on Hough Transform is proposed. The application was developed under Macintosh PC platform with Xcode 3.2.4 development tools, downloaded to the iPhone and has been tested on the real paved road. The experimental result has shown that the detection ratio of the straight lane was over 90% and the processing speed was 1.52fps. For the enhancement of the speed, a few optimization methods were introduced and the fastest speed was 3.84fps. Through the improvement of lane detection algorithm, additional optimization works and the adoption of a new powerful platform, it will be successfully commercialized on smartphone application market.

Analyzing Impact Factors of User Resistance to Accepting Paid Mobile Application (유료 모바일 애플리케이션 수용 저항 요인에 관한 분석)

  • While the mobile application market is growing fast, the revenues of the majority apps are declining. Moreover, paid mobile application prices and purchases have been slow because of intensifying competition. However, the conventional studies focused only on the acceptance factor of mobile applications, so they cannot explain the phenomenon such as acceptance resistance for paid mobile applications. Therefore, our study tries to analyze the factors for the acceptance resistance of users for paid mobile applications. The research model in this paper, which is based on S-O-R model, verified through surveys how social influence and app characteristics affect user perception and how user perception affects to app resistance. The results of our study showed that paid mobile applications happened to be destroyed in front of the chasm because of the perceived loss. Consequently, the results implicate that the developers should lower the initial price and actively react to the negative reviews in order to lower the perceived loss. Moreover, the results verified that a sense of self-efficacy can lower application acceptance resistance by including personal properties to our research model as control variables.

A Performance Analysis Based on Hadoop Application's Characteristics in Cloud Computing (클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 Hadoop 애플리케이션 특성에 따른 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we implement a Hadoop based cluster for cloud computing and evaluate the performance of this cluster based on application characteristics by executing RandomTextWriter, WordCount, and PI applications. A RandomTextWriter creates given amount of random words and stores them in the HDFS(Hadoop Distributed File System). A WordCount reads an input file and determines the frequency of a given word per block unit. PI application induces PI value using the Monte Carlo law. During simulation, we investigate the effect of data block size and the number of replications on the execution time of applications. Through simulation, we have confirmed that the execution time of RandomTextWriter was proportional to the number of replications. However, the execution time of WordCount and PI were not affected by the number of replications. Moreover, the execution time of WordCount was optimum when the block size was 64~256MB. Therefore, these results show that the performance of cloud computing system can be enhanced by using a scheduling scheme that considers application's characteristics.

Developments of Local Festival Mobile Application and Data Analysis System Applying Beacon (비콘을 활용한 위치기반 지역축제 모바일 애플리케이션과 데이터 분석 시스템 개발)

  • Local festivals form the regional cultures and atmosphere of communication; they increase the demand of domestic tourism businesses and thus, have an important role in ripple effects (e.g. regional image improvement, tourist influx, job creation, regional contents development, and local product sales) and economic revitalization. IoT (Internet of Thing) technologies have been developed especially, beacon-one of the IoT services has been applied as plenty of types and forms both domestically and internationally. However, notwithstanding expansion of current digital mobile technologies, it still remains as difficult for the individual to track the information about all the local festivals and to fulfill the tourists' needs of enjoying festivals given the weak strategic approaches and advertisement activities. Furthermore, current festival-related mobile applications don't function well as delivering information and have numerous contents issues (e.g. ways of information delivery within the festival places, independent application usage for each festival, one time usage due to one time event). This research, based on the background mentioned above, aims to develop the local festival mobile application and data analysis system applying beacon technology. First of all, three algorithms were developed, namely, 'festival crowding algorithm', 'visitor stats algorithm', and 'customized information algorithm', and then beta test was followed with the developed application and data analysis system. As a result, they could form the database of visitors' types and behaviors, and provide functions and services, such as personalized information, waiting time for festival contents, and 'hot place' function. Besides, in Google Play store, they also got the titles given with more than 13,000 downloads within first three months and as the most exposed application related with festivals; and, thus, got credited with their marketability and excellence. This research follows this order: chapter 2 shows the literature review of local festival related with technology development, beacon service, and festival application. In Chapter 3, design plans and conditions are described of developing local festival mobile application and data analysis system with beacon. Chapter 4 evaluates the results of the beta performance test to verify applicability of the developed application and data analysis system, and lastly, chapter 5 explains the conclusion and suggests the future research.

A Tag Flow-Driven Deployment Simulator for Developing RFID Applications (RFID 애플리케이션 개발을 위한 태그 흐름기반 배치 시뮬레이터)

  • More recently, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems have begun to find greater use in various industrial fields. The use of RFID system in these application domains has been promoted by efforts to develop the RFID tags which are low in cost, small in size, and high in performance. The RFID applications enable the real-time capture and update of RFID tag information, while simultaneously allowing business process change through real-time alerting and alarms. These be developed to monitor person or objects with RFID tags in a place and to provide visibility and traceability of the seamless flows of RFID tags. In this time, the RFID readers should be placed in diverse locations, the RFID flows between these readers can be tested based on various scenarios. However, due to the high cost of RFID readers, it may be difficult to prepare the similar environment equipped with RFID read/write devices. In this paper, we propose a simulator to allow RFID application testing without installing physical devices. It can model the RFID deployment environment, place various RFID readers and sensors on this model, and move the RFID tags through the business processes. This simulator can improve the software development productivity by accurately testing RFID middleware and applications. In addition, when data security cannot be ensured by any fault, it can decide where the problem is occurred between RFID hardware and middleware.
