A Study on Prototype Landscape of Dosangugok - Focused on Valley4 Booncheon - (도산구곡의 원형경관에 관한 연구 - 제4곡 분천을 중심으로 -)

  • Dosangugok is located at Dosan-myeon, Andong City, Gyeongbuk and its original landscape was analyzed based on Valley4 Buncheon among Dosangugok. In order to estimate original landscape of Dosangugok, landscape elements were extracted after investigating ancient literatures including 'Nongamjib' and poetry/prose relevant to Dosangugok, landscape elements that could be confirmed at local site survey were suggested and arrangement of Buncheon village was estimated based on painting works. In analysis of poetry/prose, 29 landscape elements were extracted and as a result of local site survey, 6 places including Jeomam (Jari-bawi), Nongam (Gwimeok-bawi), Sajaseok (Saja-bawi), Sangam (Elephant rock), Dae and Bungang were confirmed to be existed at present and in painting works, Rocks such as Aeildang on the rock adjacent to Bungang, Buncheon Seowon at its backyard village, Bungang Byeoneui Gwimeokbawi, Jeomam were confirmed to be expressed even though not expressed in detail. Survey was performed based on ancient site of Nongam head house in parallel with interview with 17th eldest grandson(Ph.D. Lee, sung won)of Nongam Lee, Hyeon Bo and local site survey and original landscape was reproduced by making its result as a drawing and preparing an estimated map around this area.

Effects of Different Levels of Hermetia Illucens on Growth Performance and Nutrient Digestibility in Weaning Pigs (이유자돈 사료 내 동애등에(Hermetia illucens)의 첨가수준이 사양성적, 영양소소화율 및 경제성에 미치는 영향)

  • This trial was conducted to determine the optimal supplementation level of Hermetia illucens (HI) on the growth performance, the apparent total tract retention of nutrients and the economic efficiency in weaning pigs. A total of 192 weaned pigs ($Landrace{\times}Yorkshire{\times}Duroc$; $6.51{\pm}0.15kg$) were randomly allotted to 4 treatments and 6 replicates on the basis of their initial body weight. The dietary treatments included a corn-soybean meal based diet supplemented with 0, 1, 2 or 3% HI. There were no significantly effects between the treatments in phases I, II and overall. But average daily gain was significant and linearly increased when HI was added to the diet in the overall group. Although digestibility of dry matter (DM) was increased by adding HI, digestibility responses were not observed by supplying HI in phase I. Also, all the parameters of economic efficiency were not significantly different according to the level of HI. The results showed that HI had beneficial effects on growth performance and digestibility of dry matter. However, there were no effects on economic efficiency by using HI in weaning pig diets.

Effects of Dietary Mugwort (Artemisia iwayomogi Kitamura) Powder Supplementation on Growing Performance in Pig (인진쑥(Artemisia iwayomogi Kitamura) 분말 급여가 돼지 생산성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate growth performance in weanling and growing pigs supplemented with mugwort powder as an antibiotic replacement. To examine the effects of antibiotic replacement, 0 (control, with and without antibiotics), 1, and 1.5% mugwort powder was supplemented into the basal diet. Pigs raised with a diet of 1.0% mugwort powder had improved average daily gain and feed conversion rate during 23~37 d feeding. During 40~59 and 63~97 d feeding periods, there were no differences between average daily gain in pigs fed no antibiotics and those given a 1% mugwort powder diet, whereas feed conversion rate of pigs given a 1.5% mugwort powder diet and average daily gain of pigs fed no antibiotics were lower than those of any other diet group. In conclusion, this study suggests that the 1.0% supplementation of mugwort in place of antibiotics is an invaluable feed additive as a physiologically activated material.
