Development of Integrated Flood Analysis Platform in the EDC Smart City (EDC 스마트시티 홍수분석 통합플랫폼 개발)

  • 최근 기후변화로 인하여 극한 강우사상이 증가하고 있으며, 이에 대한 재해 위험도도 커지고 있는 추세이다. 서낙동강 지역에서는 부산 에코델타 스마트시티 조성사업이 2023년 완공을 목표로 개발을 진행 중이다. 부산 에코델타 스마트시티는 대저수문과 녹산수문이 각각 상/하류에 위치하고 있으며, 스마트시티가 위치한 좌안에는 평강천이 유입하고 우안에는 대감천, 예안천, 주중천, 신어천, 금천천, 조만강 및 지사천이 유입하고 있다. 스마트시티의 대저수문과 녹산수문 구간은 4월-10월 기간 동안 주변지역 농업용수 공급을 위하여 하계의 일시적인 방류를 제외하면 연중 담수가 이루어지는 전형적인 하천형 저수지의 특성을 가지고 있다. 낙동강의 홍수예보는 낙동강의 본류 구간만을 대상으로 수행하고 있으며, 스마트시티 구간은 주로 수질에 관한 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 그러나 스마트시티의 조성과 함께 서낙동강 구간의 홍수 영향 분석의 필요성이 제기되고 있으나 스마트시티 하천구간을 대상으로 한 홍수분석은 거의 수행된 바가 없다. 본 연구에서는 부산에코델타 스마트시티 구간을 대상으로 시나리오 기반의 홍수분석을 수행할 수 있는 웹기반 통합플랫폼을 개발하였다. 홍수분석에 필요한 자료는 에코델타 스마트시티 개발계획을 기반으로 단기유출모의, 하천흐름모의 및 도시유출모의를 연계하여 분석을 실시할 수 있도록 하였다. 홍수분석을 실시함에 있어 대상 하천구간의 농업용수이용, 수문조작 기준을 고려하였다. 단기유출모의는 홍수통제소의 유출분석을 위하여 사용되는 저류함수법을 적용하였으며, 하천흐름 모의는 미국 공병단에서 개발한 HEC-RAS모형을 적용하였으며, 하천흐름모형의 결과를 미국 환경청(EPA) 도시유출모형인 SWMM과 연계할 수 있도록 하였다. 대상 구간의 하천 취수량을 산정하기 위하여 일별 담수심추적법을 활용한 논 농업용수 수요량을 산정하여 반영하고, 농업용수 수요량에 따른 저수량과 수문운영 룰을 고려하였다. 또한 부산에코델타 스마트시티의 개발에 따른 상태 변화를 반영할 수 있도록 웹기반으로 사용자가 시나리오를 설정하고 각 모형의 입력자료와 매개변수를 조정할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 부산에코델타 스마트시티의 개발에 있어 홍수위험을 분석 및 평가하는데 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 이를 활용하여 홍수에 안전한 부산에코델타 스마트시티를 만들 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 최근 COVID-19(코로나 바이러스 감염증) 확산에 따라 다양한 분야에서 힘든 상황이 이어지고 있다. 중앙 재난 안전 대책본부에 따르면 지난 2월 한 달간 코로나 안전신고는 약 2만 5천 건의 방역수칙 위반 신고가 들어온 것으로 집계됐다. 이에 따라 음식점 및 매장은 QR코드. 수기 작성을 통한 동선 체크, 온도 검사 등 코로나 확산을 방지하기 위한 방법을 시행하고 있지만 이는 단지 코로나 확산 방지를 위한 대책 일뿐 소상공인의 매장 운영이나 안정적인 영업 유지 등 직접적인 영향을 줄 수 없다. 이에 본 논문은 OpenCV를 활용한 고객 출입 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 OpenCV 영상처리기술을 활용하여 매장을 방문하는 고객의 나이, 성별을 수집하여 주요 고객층 분석, 출입 현황 및 이용 시간을 파악한다. 본 시스템은 코로나 확진자 동선 파악을 위한 역학조사와 소상공인의 효율적인 매장 운영 시간을 분석하여 '코로나 확산 방지', '소상공인 매출 증가'의 기대 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 향후, 제안하는 기법의 실질적인 검증을 위해 실제 매장 환경에서의 테스트가 필요하다.

Media big data analysis on technology trends to prevent wandering and missing of dementia patients in the community

  • The aim of this study is to use media big data to understand the characteristics and changes in technology that prevents wandering and missing for dementia patients as well as supports safe walking since 1990 until recently. BigKinds as a media big data was used to conduct an analysis in two stages. In the results, first, the media reports began to be reported in the early 2000s, and it increased after 2014. Second, regarding to the characteristics of changes in technology and device utilization, there has been a change to advanced technology that combines AI and IoT, focusing on GPS. Drone has recently increased in media report, however problems of personal information security need to be resolved. Third, technology development focused on location identification by police and guardians. Based on the results, technology development and community cooperation for dementia patient were discussed.

  • Vessel traffic service(VTS) centers are equipped with RADAR, AIS(Automatic Identification System), weather sensors, and VHF(Very High Frequency). VTS operators use this equipment to observe the movement of ships operating in the VTS area and provide information. The VTS data generated by these various devices is highly valuable for analyzing maritime traffic situation. However, owing to a lack of compatibility between system manufacturers or policy issues, they are often not systematically managed. Therefore, we developed the VTS Bigdata Platform that could efficiently collect, store, and manage control data collected by the VTS, and this paper describes its design and implementation. A microservice architecture was applied to secure operational stability that was one of the important issues in the development of the platform. In addition, the performance of the platform could be improved by dualizing the storage for real-time navigation information. The implemented system was tested using real maritime data to check its performance, identify additional improvements, and consider its feasibility in a real VTS environment.

  • To solve the problem of climate change, carbon neutrality has now become a necessity rather than an option. Hydrogen is not only a energy storage that can supplement the intermittent production of renewable energy, but is also considered a good alternative in the field of utilization as it does not emit carbon dioxide after reaction. In order to revitalize hydrogen vehicles, one of the fields of hydrogen utilization, the construction of hydrogen station infrastructure must be preceded. Prioritization of risk factors is necessary for efficient operation and risk assessment of hydrogen stations, but due to the short operation period of domestic hydrogen stations, there is a lack of frequency data on accidents and their reliability is low. In this study, we aim to identify the causes and consequences of deviations in hydrogen stations through HAZOP analysis. Additionally, we intend to analyze them using Fuzzy-AHP. Through this, we intend to derive the decision values for the causes of deviations in hydrogen stations and apply them to hydrogen accident cases and risk assessments to confirm the reliability and utility of the data.

  • Drones in the contemporary landscape have transcended their initial public utility, expanding into various industries and making significant inroads into the private sector. The majority of commercially available drones are presently equipped with GPS receivers to relay location signals from artificial satellites, aiming to inform users about the drone's whereabouts. However, a notable drawback arises from the considerable distance over which these location signals travel, resulting in a weakened signal intensity. This limitation introduces vulnerabilities, allowing for the possibility of location manipulation and jamming attacks if the drone receives a stronger signal than the intended location signal from satellites. Thus, this paper focuses on the safety assessment of drones relying on GPS-based location acquisition and addresses potential vulnerabilities in wireless communication scenarios. Targeting commercial drones, the paper analyzes and empirically demonstrates the feasibility of GPS spoofing attacks. The outcomes of this study are anticipated to serve as foundational experiments for conducting more realistic vulnerability analysis and safety evaluations.

  • Recent advancements in the integration of satellite technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) have led to the development of a sophisticated network ecosystem, capable of generating and utilizing vast amounts of big data across various sectors. However, this integrated network faces significant security challenges, primarily due to constraints like limited latency, low power requirements, and the incorporation of diverse heterogeneous devices. Addressing these security concerns, this paper explores the construction of a satellite-IoT network through the application of Software Defined Networking (SDN). While SDN offers numerous benefits, it also inherits certain inherent security vulnerabilities. To mitigate these issues, we propose a novel approach that incorporates blockchain technology within the SDN framework. This blockchain-based SDN environment enhances security through a distributed controller system, which also facilitates the authentication of IoT terminals and nodes. Our paper details the implementation plan for this system and discusses its validation through a series of tests. Looking forward, we aim to expand our research to include the convergence of artificial intelligence with satellite-IoT devices, exploring new avenues for leveraging the potential of big data in this context.

  • This study proposes a method for utilizing flight and flow - information for a collaborative environment (FF-ICE) for flight plan management based system wide information management (SWIM) technology for the safe and efficient operation of urban air mobility (UAM). SWIM provides a standardized infrastructure for air traffic data, enabling seamless information exchange among various stakeholders. This study purposed flight plan procedures for UAM operation regarding submitting preliminary and filed flight plans, validation and operational evaluation processes, state management, and the roles of each stakeholder. The system developed through the SWIM infrastructure for low-density urban air mobility traffic management. The study are expected to significantly enhance the safety and efficiency of UAM operations through strategic flight plan management methods.

  • Our world security is at the top of the list, and it is a safe country to be able to drink and move around freely at dawn. However, according to the data by the prosecution's office, about 2 million crimes are committed each year. Crime can be classified as a violent crime, intelligent crime, or other crime. Also age, gender and location vary by crime. Generally, crime breaks people's trust, inflicts large and small damages on society, and it is difficult to restore trust, which is crushed by crime. In the paper based on the conditions such as age, gender, place, and area, we will use Big Data to visualize the access and increase / decrease of crime occurrence according to the types of these crimes. Through this paper, we will identify the overall trend of crime and present a method of utilizing the crime prevention design (CPTED) based on the analyzed data.

Multifactorial Risk Based Prioritization of Foreign Matters in Food (식품이물의 다인자기반 위해평가 및 우선순위 설정)

  • Foreign matters in foods are important food safety issue of consumers, retailers, food manufacturers and food safety authorities in Korea. In order to provide information for development of risk management options and detection technology for foreign matters, multifactorial risk of foreign matters in foods was estimated based on various factors including detection rate, health adverse effect, economic and social aspects. For the each of five food items and foreign matters which were selected from previous study, factors including detection rates, health adverse effects, annual production amounts and willingness to additional pay to reduce foreign matters in foods were quantitatively estimated. The highest risk score was estimated for metal-noodle combination followed by insect-noodle and metal-beverage combinations. The multifactorial risk assessment on foreign matters in food could provide useful information to support risk managers and scientist in complex decision making when various factors should be concerned and different food-foreign matter combinations are compared.
