몇 년 사이 대형 TV에 대한 선호도가 크게 높아졌다. VTR의 보급으로 일반가정에서도 쉽게 영화를 접할 수 있게 되자 집안에서도 영화관의 분위기를 낼수 있는 대형 화면을 선호하게 되었다. 그러나 실제로 대형 TV와 소형 TV는 화면 크기의 기능상에는 별반 차이가 없다. 미국 Consumer Report에 실린 상품테스트를 통해 소형 TV를 꼼꼼히 살펴보자.

The construction safety policy of Korea requires safety reviews at design stages, which affect the perceptions and attitudes of the workers toward safety. Despite this heightened social interest in safety, there is no related research in the field of landscape architecture. This study entails a review of the status of landscape construction accidents in Korea and an assessment of landscape engineers' perception of construction safety climate and safety behaviors. A survey of landscape constructors and designers was performed, and the obtained data were statistically analyzed. The results indicate the following: (1) More than half of the accidents which are registered in CSI occurred in apartment houses ordered by the private sector in the type of facility and planting works in the landscaping process; (2) Landscape designers were better aware of safety than landscape constructors. Among them, safety attitude, work risk, work participation, and work pressure were statistically significant; Apart from the statistical significance, landscape designers recognized the importance of safety highly but they tended to have a relatively low perception of specific safety behaviors. (3) Lastly, landscape constructors attributed less importance to safety review during the design stage compared to other items.

Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the level of safety climate, fatigue, and safety performance and to identify the impact of safety climate and fatigue on the safety performance of operating room nurses. Methods: The study design was a descriptive survey. Participants were 174 operating room nurses from two general hospitals and two university hospitals in S and D cities. Three structurally designed questionnaires were used to evaluate their safety climate, fatigue, and safety performance. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-tests, ANOVAs, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Safety performance of operating room nurses had a mean of 3.26 on a 5-point scale. 'Current department career'(${\beta}=.17$, p=.006) and 'safety climate (work-unit contribution) (${\beta}=.63$, p<.001) accounted for 39% of the variance in operating room nurses' safety performance. Conclusion: Findings indicate that work-unit contribution towards safety climate is an important factor in increasing operating room nurses' safety performance. Therefore, it is essential to find motivational properties consistent with the characteristics of the operating room environment.

격의 없이 근로자와 함께 하는 안전활동을 통해 행복하고 즐거운 현장분위기를 조성해 나가고 있는 현장이 있어 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 그 주인공은 바로 중견건설사인 (주)동서가 시공을 하고 있는 '공군부대 장영복합체육시설현장'이다. 이곳 현장은 안전보건공단이 인정한 '위험성평가 우수사업장'으로, 임직원과 근로자들이 하나가 되어 적극적인 재해예방활동에 나서고 있다. 근로자들이 마음으로 안전을 받아들이고 안전관리의 주축으로 나서도록 하기 위해 끊임없이 노력하고 있다는 이곳 현장을 찾아가봤다.

최근 가스 소비량이 급증하면서 가스 관련 사고 또한 증가하고 있는 추세에 있다. 가스관련 사고에 대한 분석결과 조정기의 제품불량으로 인한 사고 발생율이 급격하게 증가하고 있으며, 다수의 사고가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 LPG용 조정기의 불량에 의한 가스사고를 예방하고 사용상의 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 현재 유통되고 있는 사용중인 LPG용 조정기의 폭발위험성과 충격안전성을 고찰하여 폭발, 화재 방지 대책을 수립하고 시중에서 사용중인 조정기의 안전성을 검증하였다. (중략)

야간 조명은 건강과 복지에 대한 인간의 욕구를 야간시간의 활용을 통하여 충족시킬 수 있도록 도와주고 있다. 또한 조명은 경관의 활성화와 미적 공간 창출의 유용한 도구로 이용되고 있어 근린공원에서의 조명은 주간과 다른 분위기를 제공하여 이용자들의 만족도를 높여주고 있다. 하지만 위험 요인을 가지고 있는 공원에서는 심미적 효과뿐만 아니라 이용자들의 보행 안전을 위한 야간 조명설계의 중요성이 강조된다. 본 연구는 야간 근린공원 이용자들의 보행 안전을 고려한 조명설계를 위하여 시뮬레이션 접근법을 이용하여 대안 조명품질을 비교한다. 기존에 설치된 조명기구와 타 조명기구를 시뮬레이션으로 비교함으로써 조명설계시 시뮬레이션 접근법의 유용성을 제안한다.

Many researchers in South Korea have conducted regarding the safety climate and concluded that the safety climate effect on the safety performance. However, the survey tools that were used in domestic research were developed by individuals or designed by reconstituting, translating from previous studies. In addition, the safety climate as a low factor of organizational culture showed up in different types depending on business scale. In order to solve this issue, the objective of this study is to analyze the safety climate level of construction company depending on business scale in South Korea. first, the survey is conducted by NOSACQ-50 for construction workers. Second, it is analyzed how organizational culture affected the safety climate. Finally, the improvements are suggested on the level of safety climate. In the future, this study will be used as a baseline for the effects of the safety climate on the safety performance in construction site based on business scale.

'92.7. 신행주대교 사고 이후 '건설공사 부실방지대책'을 수립하여 관련 제도를 정비하고 건설현장에 대한 불시 점검으로 견실시공 분위기 정착에 노력하여 왔다. 그러나 그동안 정부의 부실방지와 안전확보 노력에도 불구하고, 아직까지 크고 작은 부실이 계속되고 있으며, 삼풍백화점 붕괴와 같은 대형사고에 대한 불안심리가 사라지지 않고 있다. 따라서 지금까지 추진한 제도개선사항이 일선현장에 정착되도록 최선을 다하는 한편, 이해집단간의 의견차이로 추진하지 못한 사항도 과감히 개선할 계획이며, 앞으로 우리 건설업계도 건설시장 개방에 따라 국ㆍ내외 시장에서 생존하기 위해서는 견실ㆍ안전시공과 기술개발 및 업종전문화를 목표로 하고 품질경영을 최우선으로 실시하여 건설공사에 대한 신뢰성을 더욱 확고히 다져 나가야 할 것이다.

강원도 양양군 서면 범부리. 이곳은 39가구가 모여 사는 산골마을로, 높은 산 위에서 마을을 내려다보면 범선모양으로 생겼다하여 '범부리'라는 이름이 붙여졌다고 전해지고 있다. 이곳은 (주)한양의 고속국도 제60호선 동홍천~양양간 건설 공사 16공구 현장이 위치해 있는 곳이기도 하다. 현장소장을 비롯해 15명의 직원들이 가족 같은 화기애애한 분위기 속에서 무재해 현장을 달성하기 위해 분주히 노력하고 있다.
