Forest fires are representative natural disasters resulting from dramatic global climate change in these modern times. When forest formation is insufficient due to forest damage caused by fire, secondary damages such as landslides occur during the winter thawing period and heavy rains. In most countries, only a limited area is managed as CCTV-centered monitoring systems for forest management. For the landslide prediction, markers containing 3D spatial coordinates were located on the slopes of the danger areas in advance. Then 3D mapping and angle of repose were obtained by periodic drone imaging. The recognition range and angle of view of markers were defined, and a new method for predicting signs of landslides in advance was presented in this study.

This study proposes a spirometry reference equation suitable for Asian migrant workers undergoing special health examinations. The study participants were divided according to their region: Central Asia, Northeast Asia, and South Asia Pacific. We confirmed results of the spirometry analysis of migrant workers and the interpretation consistency between the prediction equations. Based on this data, we propose a reference equation suitable for domestic migrant workers and suggest a scaling factor applicable to the spirometer wherein the reference equation is not easily applicable. The kappa-values obtained for men and women, respectively, between the global lung function initiative 2012 (GLI2012)-Southeast Asian and the Southeast Asian equations were 0.819 and 0.770, between the GLI2012-Southeast Asian and the South Asian equations were 0.881 and 0.866, and between the GLI2012-Northeast Asian and the Central Asian equations were 0.831 and 0.833. We propose applying the GLI2012-Northeast Asian equation for Northeast Asian and Central Asian countries, whereas the GLI2012-Southeast Asian equation was found to be more suitable for predicting Southeast Asian and South Asian populations. For spirometry, we recommend applying a scaling factor of 0.87 to the Dr. Choi equation, wherein the GLI2012-Southeast Asian equation is not applicable.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out the perception on childe abuse of pre-service childcare teachers who will become the closest witnesses to child abuse, and also whether they have the proper knowledge and attitude to report abuse. Methods: Surveys were conducted at five universities in Seoul and Kyonggi-province. We investigated students from child development major, and additionally students from other majors as a comparative group. Results: The results of this study are as follows: First, pre-service childcare teachers' level of abuse severity was significantly higher than other major students. They were more aware of child abuse reporting system and reporting obligations than other major students. Second, pre-service teachers had higher intention of reporting then other major students. However, both groups barely know about child protection institution, and have negative perception on the effect of reporting. Conclusion/Implications: In conclusion, this study suggests that pre-service teachers are more aware of child abuse and willing to report than other major students, however it is necessary to increase the reliability of report effectiveness. Also, it provide implications for future policy-making related to child abuse by suggesting that information transmission and promotion through mass media is necessary and efforts should be made to reduce the risk of disclosure of the identity of the complainant in reporting abuse.

We investigated the causes and characteristics of a landslide at Hwangryeong Mountain, Busan, based on aerial photos, annual precipitation data, rock fracture patterns, and geomorphic features using GIS Software, and a statistical analysis of tilted trees. The analyzed slope shows evidence of a previous slope failure event and the possibility of future failures. Although the NW-SE trending slope was relatively stable until 1975, a large-scale slope failure occurred between 1975 and 1985 due to complex factors, including favorably oriented geologic structures, human activity, and heavy rain. This indicates that a detailed study of geologic structures, slope stability, and rainfall characteristics is important for slope cuttings that could be a major factor and cause of urban landsliding events. The statistic analysis of tilted trees shows a slow progressive creeping type of mass wasting with rock falls oblique to the dip of the slope, with the slope having moved towards the west since 1985. A concentration of tree tilting has developed on the northwestern part of the slope, which could reach critical levels in the future. The analysis of deformed trees is a useful tool for understanding landslides and for predicting and preventing future landslide events.

In popular music, soul music is becoming an evaluation criteria in Korea. Blues, a songer music that was singing and lamenting Filed Holler and their suffering in a vast land of black blood and sweat, which became the mother of music to understand our enthusiastic soul music. And the only spiritual haven, church music and important musicians. Especially in the 1960s Americans social background is the most important factor to understand the soul music of birth time. Our country, which has undergone tremendous colonial rule amid numerous foreign invasions, is naturally ashamed of its aging skies. For Black-Americans soul music is an expression and anger expression anger. However, many musicians, who are flooded with floods in our country, are destined to experience the essence of life. 'Soul music' the noble choice of choice music, is known to be the ultimate reminder of the misery of the eternal disaster. As soul music has become a powerful it is understandable that it has become an exaggeration.
