Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was identified in December 2019 in China and has spread globally, resulting in an ongoing pandemic. Because COVID-19 is spread mainly from person to person, every person is required to wear a facemask in public. On the other hand, many people are still not wearing facemasks despite official advice. This paper proposes a method to predict whether a human subject is wearing a facemask or not. In the proposed method, two eye regions are detected, and the mask region (i.e., face regions below two eyes) is predicted and extracted based on the two eye locations. For more accurate extraction of the mask region, the facial region was aligned by rotating it such that the line connecting the two eye centers was horizontal. The mask region extracted from the aligned face was fed into a convolutional neural network (CNN), producing the classification result (with or without a mask). The experimental result on 186 test images showed that the proposed method achieves a very high accuracy of 98.4%.

The home network service which has been set up in the high price residential-commercial composition building of high price is supplied in the general apartment plentifully recently. But it has been supplied without accurate grasp under the aim of the most up-to-date IT industry and the convenient characteristic of life. In this research we research the present condition of network service in domestic and analyze the recognition degree of network service and the need using survey method. We find that the recognition degree is very high and a main considerable factor to purchase a house. However they prefer to be supplied as option rather than as lump. The consumers are ready to pay an addition expense for home network. It explain that they expect considerably home network service and home network system should be developed as considering the various individual characteristics.

In this research, we analyse the economic feasibility of a tidal power plant project which can efficiently generate mass, permanent, predictable, and homogeneous electric power. For the economic feasibility analysis, we used the RETScreen that is developed at the CANMET Energy Technology Center in Natural Resources Canada and widely utilized for analysing the economic feasibility and sensitivity of clean energy projects. Results from the feasibility and sensitivity analysis showd that the tidal power plant project in Korea has a enough economic feasibility, and its feasibility increases more as certified emission reductions price and electricity unit price increase. Based on the results from the feasibility study, we can solve the energy problems to be come in near future by constructing the tidal power plants in Korea more aggressively.

In spite of the previous research that had been emphasizing the importance of parents' assistance for revealing genius and achievement of their children, there was not enough information about how to drive the parents participation and support. Not considering "what and why" about the supporting of parents of gifted students, it was vaguely generalized that the education from the supporting parents was important. However, this situation will have a possibility of missing out on more important things of gifted children's parental support. Therefore, this research will deal with a variety of effective ways to clarify what the parents can do to support their gifted children and the problems that are related to those ways. Furthermore, by suggesting some of the ways that can complement the system of current parental support, it will set up fundamental ways to help the supporting parents.

This study was carried out to know the factors affecting rooting and growth in stem cutting of Ligusticum chuangxiong for mass propagation. The results indicated that : (1) Rooting and growth were better in perlite which has higher air permeability. (2) Sub-irrigation with 15min long with 30min interval was more favorable for growth. (3) Proper tempeature for rooting and growth ranged from $25^{\circ}C\;to\;30^{\circ}C$ while photoperiod had no effect on rooting and growth.

불완전하게 충전되거나 충전이 되지않은 isthmus는 다근치에 있어서 근관치료의 높은 실패율을 나타낸다 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 isthmus를 갖는 근관을 골라 근관계의 기구조작을 시행하고 여러 가지 근관충전 방법을 이용하여 근관을 충전한 다음 근단부 형성시 적절한 파일의 크기와 치근단부의 밀폐효과를 각 부위별로 비교평가 해보고자 하는 것이다. Isthmus를 갖는 66개의 발거한 치아를 대상으로 기구조작을 통하여 근관확대를 완성하고 무작위로 각각 20개씩 3군으로 분류한 다음 아래와 같은 방법으로 근관을 충전하였다. : A군 측방가압충전법으로 충전한 군, B군 Continuous wave 충전법으로 충전한 군, C군 MicroSeal$^{TM}$을 이용하여 충전한 군. 나머지 6개의 치아는 3개씩 양성대조군과 음성대조군으로 정하였으며 기구조작 후 근관은 충전하지 않은 채로 두었다. 대조군을 제외한 모든 군은 각각 제조회사의 지시에 따라 근관충전한 후 각 시편의 치근단부 2mm를 제외하고 나머지 부위는 두겹의 nail polish를 발라주었으며 2% methylene blue용액에 침잠시켰다 일주일 후 꺼내어 흐르는 물에 깨끗이 세척한 다음 치근단 부위에서부터 1mm씩 잘라가면서 20배의 배율에서 염색액의 침투정도를 평가하였다. 염색액의 침투정도는 다음과 같이 평가되었다. A군과 B군에서는 많은 수의 시편에서 4mm 이상의 절단면에 염색액의 침투를 보인 반면 C군에서는 단지 3mm절단면에서 총 20개 중 3개의 시편에서 염색액의 침투를 보였을 뿐 그 이상의 절단면에서는 염색액의 침투를 보이지 않았다. 뿐만 아니라 isthmus를 갖는 제2형 근관계의 근단부 형성은 40번 크기보다는 큰 MAF가 요구되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 비추어볼 때 isthmus를 갖는 다근치에서 근관충전시 적어도 40번 이상의 MAF로 근단부 형성을 한 후, 열가소성 Continuous wave 충전법과 MicroSeal$^{TM}$을 이용한 근관충전법이 기존의 측방가압충전법 보다는 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

해안 대수층은 해수와 담수가 공존하는 지역으로 상대적으로 밀도가 큰 해수가 대수층의 담수 아래에 쐐기형태로 존재하게 된다. 이러한 쐐기형태의 해수와 담수의 경계면은 압력경도의 평형에 의해 경계면이 유지되며, 해수면 또는 지하수위가 변동할 경우 해수-담수 경계면의 균형이 무너짐과 더불어 압력경도의 평행이 이루어질 때 까지 해수-담수 경계면의 이동이 계속 진행된다. 수위 변화의 주요 원인으로는 지구온난화 및 기후변화로 인한 지속적인 해수면 상승과 도서지역의 인구증가 및 산업화로 인한 무분별한 지하수의 사용 등에 의한 지하수위 저하 등을 꼽을 수 있다. 이와 같은 원인으로 해안 및 도서지역에서는 해안 대수층의 해수침투거리가 증가하여 지하수 이용에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 해안 대수층의 해수침투 범위 및 거리를 추정하기 위한 많은 연구들이 다양한 분야에서 지속해서 이루어지고 있지만, 서로 밀도가 다른 해수와 담수가 공존하는 해안 대수층 내의 수리특성을 명확히 파악하기에는 아직까지 미흡한 점들이 많다. 과거에는 Darcy의 법칙 및 Ghyben-Herzberg 식에 근거한 이론적인 연구들이 주로 이루어졌고, 근래에 현장관측이나 수리모형실험이 국내 외적으로 수행되고 있으나, 모든 영역의 지하수의 특성을 조사하는 것이 사실상 불가능하다. 이에 최근에는 컴퓨터 성능의 비약적인 발전과 더불어 다양한 수치해석방법에 의한 수치모델들이 개발되어 시뮬레이션에 적용되고 있다. 하지만 거의 대부분의 수치모델은 해안 대수층 수리특성을 투수계수에 의존하고 있을 뿐, 대수층 내부의 해수-담수에 의한 밀도류의 유동특성을 전혀 고려하지 못한 채 정수압에 근거한 해수-담수 경계면에 대해 모의하고 있는 정도이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 해안 대수층 내부의 유동현상을 투수계수에 의존하는 방법에서 탈피하여 대수층 매체의 입경, 공극, 형상 등을 고려할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 염분 및 온도차에 의한 밀도류를 해석할 수 있는 강비선형 수치모델을 개발하여 해수침투 현상을 직접 모의한다. 나아가 대부분의 이전 연구들에서 간과하고 있는 해안지역의 대표적 물리력인 파랑과 조석의 영향이 해안 대수층의 해수침투에 미치는 영향, 해안 대수층의 지하수위 및 해수면의 수위차에 의한 해수침투 특성 그리고 이를 제어 할 수 있는 새로운 대응기술을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the experiences of male college students through sport toto gambling and to provide basic data on the prevention program for male college gambling addicts. Participants in the study were eight male college students who were interviewed in depth and analyzed according to Colaizzi's phenomenological study method. As a result of this study, four categories of experiences were derived as follows: Like the wind that rushes to the sea, Tears of remorse, A locked down life and On a dream day. Research shows that sports toto is easy to access and has a lot of interesting factors, however it has been found out that male college students have a great risk of falling into addiction aiming to win at once like ordinary gamblers. Therefore, this study suggests that gambling preventive education and counseling are necessary for male college students who like sports.

The welfare of horses depends on satisfying both the physiological and psychological needs of the animal. The object of this study was to evaluate fence safety at the horse farm. A Thoroughbred colt with cribbing was found dead in a paddock. The fence of paddock is a four-pipe fencing. He cribbed the 2nd pipe from the top. But he couldn't pull his face because his incisors acted as hooks and two ramuses of the mandible was entrapped in a top pipe. So he was embarrassed and went down while he terribly struggled to get out his face. Finally, he was strangulated to death. Safe fencing is essential on a horse farm. The function of these fences are to protect the horses but it was more of a hazard. In order to safe management of horses, facial length of the horse and the pipe interval of the fence should be considered. Further research is needed to put a muzzle on the horses while they are at a paddock. This study provides important benchmarks for the equine industry to consider fence type and evaluate fence safety.

Morphological characters of Baemoochae, xBrassicoraphanus are mostly intermedium of the both parents, Chinese cabbage, Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis and radish, Raphanus sativus. The upper and lower parts of the leaf resemble the shape of Chinese cabbage and radish, respectively. The midrib of the leaf is round like to that of radish, but very big more than 3 cm in diameter and white in color like that of Chinese cabbage. The root was changed from the swollen type like that of radish to the enlarged taproot like that of the land race of Chinese cabbage after attaining genetical stability. The flower is white. The seed pod is divided into 2 different parts; the upper part is radish and about 4 cm in length and holds 3-4 seeds and the lower part is Chinese cabbage and about 3 cm in length and holds 7-8 seeds. The color of seed is brown, weight per 1.000 seeds is 5.5 g and the number of seeds per mL is 120. The matured plant in the fall season is around 5 kg in weight and outer leaves are very vigorous and stiffly and inner leaves are erect and form a loose head. The leaf and the root contain a high level of sulforaphene which is well known as a functional substance for anti-cancer and anti-super-bacteria. Baemoochae is an amphidiploid and does not have the self incompatibility function. It has a high level of cross compatibility with Chinese cabbage as the female parent, but not the male parent. It is cross incompatible to cabbage, B. oleracea, black mustard, B. nigra and radish. However it is highly compatible to oil seed rape, B. napus, yellow mustard, B. carinata and partial compatible to muatard, B. juncea in the reciprocal cross.
