  • 본 논문에서는 경량화 설계가 반영된 차량의 내구성 및 안전성을 증가시키기 위해 사용되는 구조용 접착제의 비균일적, 미도포 된 부분을 검사하기 위한 방법에 대해 제안한다. 이 방법은 차량이 조립되기 전 구조용 접착체가 균일하게 도포되지 않은 부분을 사전에 알려줌으로써 차량의 전체적인 강성을 높일 수 있어, 차량의 조립에 있어 의무화되어 가는 추세이다. 이 방법은 머신전용 카메라와 보드 기반으로 간단하게 구성이 가능하다.

Raptor Codes-based Screen Mirroring for Energy Efficiency (에너지 효율성을 고려한 랩터 코드 기반의 스크린 미러링)

  • The existing screen mirroring systems are vulnerable to packet loss and inefficient for mobile devices with limited energy capacity. To overcome these problems, we propose a packet loss robust and energy efficient screen mirroring system for mobile device. The proposed system employs systematic Raptor codes for a forward error correction method to mitigate the video quality degradation that is caused by packet loss over wireless networks. For the mobile device energy saving, the proposed system shapes the screen mirroring traffic and adjusts the Raptor encoding parameters. In this paper, the proposed system is fully implemented on single board computers and is examined in a real Wi-Fi Direct network.

  • Structural health monitoring to determine structural conditions at an early stage and to efficiently manage the energy requirements of buildings using systems that collects relevant data, is under active investigation. Structural monitoring requires cutting-edge technology in which construction, sensing, and ICT technologies are combined. However, the scope of application is limited because expensive sensors and specialized technical skills are often required. In this study, a Raspberry Pi module, one of the most widely used single board computers, a Lora module that is capable of long-distance communication at low power, and a high-performance accelerometer are used to construct a wireless edge computing system that can monitor building response over an extended time period. In addition, the Raspberry Pi module utilizes an edge computing algorithm, and only meaningful data is obtained from the vast amount of acceleration data acquired in real-time. The raw data acquired using Wi-Fi communication are compared to the Laura data to evaluate the accuracy of the data obtained using the system.

  • Deaf are it is difficult to communicate to represent the voice heard, so theay use mostly using the speech, sign language, writing, etc. to communicate. It is the best way to use sign language, in order to communicate deaf and normal people each other. But they must understand to use sign language. In this paper, we designed and implementated finger language translation system to support communicate between deaf and normal people. We used leap motion as input device that can track finger and hand gesture. We used raspberry pi that is low power sing board computer to process input data and translate finger language. We implemented application used Node.js and MongoDB. The client application complied with HTML5 so that can be support any smart device with web browser.

  • With the advent of tiny and inexpensive computer systems like Raspberry Pi, it has become possible to construct an experimental environment of MANETs (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) at a relatively low cost. In this paper, we implement a node of MANETs with a Raspberry Pi equipped with two 802.11 wireless LAN cards and dynamic routing software running on it. In an outdoor MANETs environment with moving mobile nodes automatically rebuilding broken routes, we conducted a real-time video streaming experiment over the MANET. The video stream is transmitted from a node with a video camera installed on it to another node through the route established dynamically. Each node is equipped with a display device, with which the current status of the node can be checked out. We also implemented software that automatically collects data stored in each node and analyzes the performance of the MANETs. Through this experiment, we could evaluate the performance of realistic video streaming service in a MANETs environment.

Priority of Modularization in Weapon System by using Grey Relational Analysis (GRA를 활용한 무기체계 모듈화 우선순위선정)

  • In the defense industry, national security takes priority over economic sense and this has translated into high cost and long-term research and development. However, the exponential growth of technology and rapid changes in the security situation in recent years have resulted in a call for the development of systems at a low cost within a short period of time. In order to implement a modularization strategy in the field of defense, the introduction of line replaceable units in OO systems needs to be prioritized. This study selects six criteria following a literature review and prioritizes 11 modules for OO systems using the project evaluation method, Grey Relational Analysis (GRA). Based on the GRA results, the grey relational grades were derived as 0.83, 0.81 and 0.80 for the M11 (Main board), M8 (EMI module), M3 (Single board computer) modules, respectively. The cost and time of development is expected to be reduced in accordance with the grey relational grade. The results of this research could be utilized for decision making on adopting modularization in similar system development or product improvement programs (PIPs).
