A Technique of Measuring Leadwire-Site for Automatic Leadwire Cutting Machines (리드선 자동절단기를 위한 리드선 위치측정법)

  • The leadwire cutting machine that has been used recently cuts leadwires by putting one-side force with the same priciple as a saw, and applies a stress at soldered part of PCB. Because the stress becomes one cause of contact-defect, a leadwire cutting robot that cuts leadwire-site with nipper and does not apply stress is considered, In this paper a technique of detecting leadwire-site is studied for the purpose of using on automatic leadwire cutting robots. A technique deriving 2-dimensional site-information with many I-dimensional binary data of perspective front-view of PCB taken from various direction was proposed. Simulation and experiments were done under the same condition each other and a small universal PCB was choosen as an experimental object. As a result of simulations and experiments, the proposed technique turns out to be very useful for automatic leadwire cutting robots.

Multi Server Password Authenticated Key Exchange Using Attribute-Based Encryption (속성 기반 암호화 방식을 이용한 다중 서버 패스워드 인증 키 교환)

  • Password authenticated key exchange (PAKE) is a protocol that a client stores its password to a server, authenticates itself using its password and shares a session key with the server. In multi-server PAKE, a client splits its password and stores them to several servers separately. Unless all the servers are compromised, client's password will not be disclosed in the multi-server setting. In attribute-based encryption (ABE), a sender encrypts a message M using a set of attributes and then a receiver decrypts it using the same set of attributes. In this paper, we introduce multi-server PAKE protocol that utilizes a set of attributes of ABE as a client's password. In the protocol, the client and servers do not need to create additional public/private key pairs because the password is used as a set of public keys. Also, the client and the servers exchange only one round-trip message per server. The protocol is secure against dictionary attacks. We prove our system is secure in a proposed threat model. Finally we show feasibility through evaluating the execution time of the protocol.

A Study on the Design of Interlibrary Loan System Linked with IRS (정보검색시스템과 연계된 상호대차시스템 설계에 관한 연구: 의학도서관을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore practical methods of interlibrary loan system, linked with information retrieval system. The process and current status of interlibrary loan was investigated and analyzed at medical libraries in this study. In order to find the way of utilizing data from information retrieval and document request at the same time, the author tries to develop a way of linking PubMed, Union Catalog and ILL system. This study shows that hit record of information retrieval was saved in type of MEDLINE, XMLJSGML and reused for document delivery services. It seems to be efficient that the maintenance of Union Catalog was managed by all of member libraries, and data were retrieved at server and client side at once. In addition, it was found that user information can be checked by the IP and ILL system can be used for requested document by the saved result.

  • We have developed a silicon etching method by which highly doped layers are selectively etched using stain etching technique. Current supply to the backside contact of silicon wafer and special reactor are not required in this method. Therefore this method is much simpler than anodic reaction method and could be applied to standard VLSI process. In addition, highly doped layers of several wafer structures, including the structures where conventional anodic reaction method cannot be used, could be preferentially etched by this technique. We have also fabricated micromechanical structures such as cantilevers and air-bridges on the $n/n^{+}/n$ wafer and air-bridges on the $p/p^{+}$ wafer using this stain etching technique.

Memory-Efficient Time-Memory Trade-Off Cryptanalysis (메모리 효율적인 TMTO 암호 해독 방법)

  • Time-memory trade-off (TMTO) cryptanalysis proposed by Hellman can be applied for the various crypto-systems such as block ciphers, stream ciphers, and hash functions. In this paper, we propose a novel method to reduce memory size for storing TMTO tables. The starting points in a TMTO table can be substituted by the indices of n-bit samples from a sequence in a family of pseudo-random sequences with good cross-correlation, which results in the reduction of memory size for the starting points. By using this method, it is possible to reduce the memory size by the factor of 1/10 at the cost of the slightly increasing of operation time in the online phase. Because the memory is considered as more expensive resource than the time, the TMTO cryptanalysis will be more feasible for many real crypto systems.

  • 날씨가 더운지방에 소규모(小規模) 목장(牧場)들이 먼거리를 두고 산재(散在)되어 있는 경우, 각목장(各牧場)에서 생산(生産)된 우유(牛乳)를 수집(收集)해서 처리공장(處理工場)까지 수송하는 데는 많은 어려움이 있다. 현대화(現代化)된 우유처리공장(牛乳處理工場)이나 저온저장시설이 충분(充分)하지 못한 아열대지방(亞熱帶地方)에 위치(位置)한 발전도상국에서는 우유(牛乳)를 장시간(長時間) 수집(收集)하여 먼거리를 수송하는 동안 많은 양(量)의 우유(牛乳)가 부패 손실(損失)되고 있다. 이 문제를 해결(解決)하기 위하여, 그곳 현지목장(現地牧場)에 강하게 쪼이는 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)하는 것은 대단히 바람직 하다. 에너지 절약이나, 우유(牛乳)의 부패손실(腐敗損失) 막기 위하여, 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 소규모우유처리기(小規模牛乳處理機)를 개발하여 현지목장(現地牧場)에서 직접(直接) 우유를 처리(處理)하여 인근주민에게 공급하는 것이 가장좋은 해결방법이라 판단하고, 그 실현가능성을 확인(確認)하기 위하여 실제로 태양열(太陽熱)우유처리기(處理機) 개발(開發)을 위한 그 모형(模型)의 회로구성(回路構成)을 고찰(考察)한 결과(結果) 다음과 같다. 1. 태양열(太陽熱) 우유처리기(牛乳處理機)의 모형(模型)은 다음 4개(個)의 회로(回路)로 구성(構成)되었다. 가. 우유(牛乳)순환 회로(回路) 나. 가열회로(加熱回路) 다. 예냉회로(豫冷回路) 라. 냉각회로(冷却回路) 2. 우유가열회로(牛乳加熱回路)는 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)하였으며 냉각회로(冷却回路)는 압축식 냉각기(冷却機)를 이용(利用)하였다. 3. 자동제어(自動制御)시스템을 장치(裝置)하여 태양강도변화(太陽强度變化)에 따른 우유처리량(牛乳處理量) 조절(調節)을 자동화(自動化)할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • While the legacy electric grid evolving into the smart grid, various communication standards have been used for interoperability between many components. In this situation, the needs emerged for protocol conversion and mapping method for connecting the outside components to the operation center. In this paper, according to the surge of IEC 61850-based substation automation, we studied the protocol conversion gateway for linking legacy DNP3-based control center and IEC 61850-based substation automation. This paper is based on the IEEE 1815.1 standard for the protocol mapping. We suggested the direction of development the gateway and developed prototype for evaluate the proposed gateway. Also, we bring up a security problem and give a solution.

Optimal Design of a Continuous Time Deadbeat Controller (연속시간 유한정정제어기의 최적설계)

  • Deadbeat property is well established in digital control system design in time domain. But in continuous time system, deadbeat is impossible because of it's ripples between sampling points inspite of designs using the related digital control system design theory. But several researchers suggested delay elements. A delay element is made from the concept of finite Laplace Transform. From some specifications such as internal model stability, physical realizations as well as finite time settling, unknown coefficents and poles in error transfer functions with delay elements can be calulted so as to satisfy these specifications. For the application to the real system, robustness property can be added. In this paper, error transfer function is specified with 1 delay element and robustness condition is considered additionally. As the criterion of the robustness, a weighted sensitive function's $H_{infty}$ norm is used. For the minimum value of the criterion, error transfer function's poles are calculated optimally. In this sense, optimal design of the continuous time deadbeat controller is obtained.

  • The results of VE (Value Engineering) analyses are highly feasible proposals that are produced by utilizing the experience and knowledge of professionals from a variety of fields. As such, the results of past similar projects can be useful in new projects. On this basis, it is vital to accumulate the historical data of the results on VE analyses performed at every stage, which are functions, ideas, and proposals. In this research, a data formational system for collecting this historic data was established by categorizing 'Item,' 'Function,' 'Idea,' and 'Proposal' according to VE process, and the data retrieval and the adjusting process were proposed. If the historic data of these are accumulated using the suggested method, it is expected to be useful at the stage of VE process.

  • Local innovation cities that have recently been being constructed have a large share of the population with highly educated young family with children. There are high demand for children's libraries because of this high percentage of children in the population. In this regard, this study analyzed the economic feasibility of establishing a new children's library in an innovation city as viewed through the case of the C innovation city, where population inflows are increasing recently. In this study, based on a survey, we conducted a cost benefit analysis, as estimating the cost of constructing the library and calculating the benefits from the construction. The economic feasibility was analyzed by calculating the benefit cost ratio, net present value, and internal rate of return.
