A Study on the Improving Personnel System of Librarianship in Korea (한국 사서직제 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study alms to suggest a new personnel system(classification of public position) for librarianship in Korea. In order to achieve this goal, the five alternative plans are analysed with respect to the grounds of an argument, merits and demerits, and its realization. In conclusion, the 'record culture group' or record information group'(tentative name), that is, a single group brought together librarian, curator, and archivist is the best alternative to establish a professional identity and social status of librarian in Korea.

  • 본 연구에서는 다기관 통합전산센터의 다양한 운영모형 분석을 통한 효과적인 운영 대안을 수립하고, 최적 운영대안의 상시운영체계(BCP) 구성방향을 제시한다. 또한 현행 다기관 통합전산센터의 리스크 분석과 리스크 관리 특성을 모형화하여 다기관 통합전산센터의 상시운영계획 이행 절차의 자동화 시스템 구축 방안을 제시한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 4가지 사항을 중점적으로 다루었다. 첫째, 통합전산센터와 관련한 다양한 용어에 대해 정리를 하고, 통합전산센터의 국내외 사례를 살펴봄으로써 통합전산센터의 중요요소를 도출하였다. 둘째, 다기관 통합전산센터의 논리적 운영모형을 분류하여 각 모형에 따른 장${\cdot}$단점과 실현가능성을 진단하고, 대표적인 모형에 대한 가상환경을 구성하여 운영비용 측면에서 비교하였다. 또한 AHP기법을 이용하여 관련 전문가 인터뷰를 통한 정성적인 측면에서의 비교도 실시하였다. 셋째, 운영모형분석을 통하여 도출된 최적대안에 대한 다기관 통합전산센터의 상시운영체계의 수립 방향에 대하여 기존의 정보시스템을 위한 방법론과의 비교를 통하여 설명하였다. 넷째, 다기관 통합전산센터의 상시운영체계의 구성방향을 반영한 자동화시스템의 기본적인 구축방안에 대하여 간략하게 정리하고 그 기대효과를 제시하였다.

  • 적응형 소프트웨어는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 분야로 홈 네트워크, 지능 로봇 등 다양한 분야에 응용이 가능하다. 하지만, 대부분의 연구가 적응형 소프트웨어의 요구사항이나 시나리오의 구체화를 위한 비전을 제시하거나, 응용 구현의 사례를 보임으로써 실현 가능성을 확인하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 동적인 재구성이 가능한 규칙 기반으로 동작할 수 있기 때문에 진화가 가능하며, 상태에 기반하여 행위를 판단하는 RASC 프레임워크를 제안한다. 기존 서비스 조합의 개념을 실현하기 위해 중개자를 이용하였으며, 변이와 교차와 같은 유전 알고리즘 연산을 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록 RASC 도메인을 정의하였다. RASC 프레임워크는 블랙보드 아키텍처를 기반으로 규칙을 공유하며, 서비스와 서비스 조합체 모두 자극-반응 모델을 따르고 자기유사성을 가지는 일종의 복잡계를 구성한다.

A Dynamic Priority Control Method to Support an Adaptive Differentiated Service in Home Networks (홈 네트워크에서 적응적 차등화 서비스를 위한 동적 우선순위 조절 기법)

  • We propose a dynamic traffic management model which uses adaptive priority reassignment algorithm to deliver service differentiation in home networks, and implement adaptive priority reassignment algorithm using FPGA. The proposed architecture is designed to handle home network traffic without the need for signaling protocol. We categorize home network traffic into three kinds of traffic class: control data traffic class, the Internet data and non-real-time data traffic class, and multimedia data traffic class (include non-real-time and real-time multimedia data traffic). To support differential service about these kinds of traffic class, we designed and implemented a traffic management framework that dynamically change each traffic class priority depending on bandwidth utilization of each traffic class.

  • An idea is presented in this paper that control panel be implemented with a ${\mu}$-processor instead of interrupt based logic circuits. To prove that the idea is reasonable, a ${\mu}$-computer controlled traffic light control system is chosen as a model, and its control panel is imple-mented witll a f-processor. The result is that the microprocessor-based control panel performs its function very well.

  • This paper describes a testbed that was designed and implemented for the development of KSLV-II onboard equipment simulator. It used the CPCI-based industrial hardware system for scalability and the QNX real-time operating system for reliability and real-time simulation. In addition, a real-time application under QNX for function simulations of the KSLV-I PDU was developed and it was verified through interface experiments with KSLV-I upper-stage test equipment. The implemented simulator testbed will be used to verify the development feasibility in the design and development phase of a real KSLV-II onboard equipment simulator.

  • Development and realization of ubiquitous services in physical space is now in progress to develop ubiquitous smart space (USS). As the development methodologies for USS, scenario development is performed before requirement analysis and design, or vice versa. However, even though lots of redundant elements could be found between scenarios and requirement analysis results, a sort of structural approaches to join them together has been still very rare. Hence, the aim of this paper is to propose a system which generates ubiquitous service senarios and system analysis specifications according to a novel integration methodology. To do so, scenario and requirement analysis are integrated in a structured manner.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new design approach for self-sustained resonant accelerometer, that takes advantage of the automatic gain control (AGC) loop to achieve a stabilized oscillation dynamics. Fundamental idea of this accelerometer is to maintain uniform amplitude of oscillation under input accelerations. Through system modeling and loop transformation considering the envelope of oscillation, the controller is designed to maintain uniform amplitude in oscillation under dynamic input acceleration. The simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed accelerometer design, which is applicable to control grade inertial measurement system in industrial and civil application fields.

Analysis on the Wartime Airlift Capability of Strategic Materials (전시 전략물자 항공수송 능력분석)

  • It is required to transport a considerable amount of wartime strategic materials from US to Korea via airlift operation. This study attempts to formulate the wartime airlift operation model and evaluate the airlift capability of mobilized resources, including civil aircrafts. Although an airlift plan has been annually updated by the Korea Transportation Command, it is necessary to evaluate the feasibility through simulation due to uncertainties in the process of airlift operation. Uncertain parameters are as follows; the inter-arrival time of materials in the US airfields, loading and unloading times, the distribution of aircraft's initial location at the time of mobilization order. The simulation is executed under two scenarios and the results are analyzed through a sensitivity analysis. Simulation result shows that the irregularity of inter-arrival time and the number of mobilized civil aircrafts are the most critical factors in influencing airlift capability.

The Effect of Energy Efficiency Investment on Industry's Productivity Growth (에너지효율화 투자의 산업생산성 파급효과 분석)

  • The success of a target of 'low-carbon green growth' depends on whether installing energy-saving capital would result in an increase in industry's productivity growth. Defining total factor productivity from a dual cost function, this paper estimates the contribution of energy efficiency investment to productivity growth by analyzing the sources of growth of productivity index for the primary metal industries. Empirical results show that, on average, energy efficiency investment increased the annual rate of productivity growth by 1.16 percentage points over th period 1982~2006. In addition, The scale effect positively affected the contribution of energy efficiency investment on productivity growth.
