Strategic Planning for Information Infrastructure Development Using a Multiple Objective Decision-Making Model (다목표 의사결정 모형을 이용한 전략적 정보 인프라 개발 계획)

  • 본 연구는 특정 조직의 정보 인프라 개발을 위한 전략적 계획을 수립하기 위해 의 사결정 지원 도구로서 다수 목표 의사결정 모형 (Multiple Objective Decision-Making Model : MODEM), 구체적으로는 목표 계획법(Goal Programming : GP)의 응용을 제시하고 있다. 연구대상 조직은 3년 동안의 정보 인프라 개발 프로젝트를 추진하고 있다. 이러한 특 별 프로젝트는 조직 전체에 궁극적인 통합 정보 기술 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 최고 의사 결정자의 전략적 계획 측면에서 추진되고 있다. 본 연구는 총 8개의 목표가 수립되었고 현 조직 환경하에서 이들 목포들에 대한 우선 순위가 설정되었다. Micro Manager가 본 연구 모형의 실행을 위하여 활용되었고 분석결과 6개의 정보 인프라 프로젝트 중 첫 5개가 실행 되기 위하여 선택되어 졌으며 4개의 네트? 대안 중에서 첫 번째 대안이 최적 대안으로 선 택되었다. 초기 설정 목표들에 대한 우선 순위를 변경시킴으로써 연구 모형의 가변성을 검 토하기 위해 민감도 분석이 실행되었다. 변경된 목표와 우선 순위하에서는 6개의 정보 인프 라 프로젝트 중 3개만이 실행을 위하여 선택되었고 네트? 대안은 첫 번째 대안이 역시 최 적 대안으로 선택되었다. 본 연구 모형은 다수의 서로 상층하는 목표를 가지는 조직 및 이 와 유사한 경영환경에 직면해 있는 전략적 의사결정 수립에 효과적인 방안을 제시할 것이다.

An Action Research of Bibliotherapy Supervision for Improvement of Bibliotherapeutical Effects (독서치료 효과 증진을 위한 수퍼비전 실행 연구)

  • The research started with the idea that the proper supervision of bibliotherapy would improve its therapeutic effect. Revealing therapeutical effect is, to therapists more than just therapy process itself. Bibliotherapists, however not only feel the pressure by the term 'therapy' and have a low conviction over self-activating therapy. Therefore, the therapeutic value of bibliotherapy has not been well approved, and the need for improving the situation has grown among bibliotherapists. The bibliotherapy supervising action research was triggered by such need. This research takes the form of interpretive action research which emphasizes a 'methodical' approach to the research process. The purpose is to observe the problems of supervisees, make each session better, and help both the researcher and participants during the research process.

Exploring the Possibility of Forming the Strategic Community of Practice for Science Education: A Case of Science Core Schools in Korea (과학교육을 위한 전략적 실행공동체의 형성 가능성 탐색 -과학중점학교를 중심으로-)

  • The aim of this study is to see school science education from the perspective of CoP (Community of Practice) and to explore the possibility of strategic CoP in Korean school settings. To do this, we conducted a survey using SCaCoP instrument with more than 1600 students from 14 science core schools (SCSs), which were selected across the country, and analyzed their school curriculum, which can be summarized as follows: First, compared to other tracks in SCSs, like the Nature and the Humanity Classes, students of the Science Core Class (SCC) showed significantly higher scores of CoP features for all five factors of SCaCoP (i.e. responsibility of learning, common interest, mutual relationship, open participation, and practice). Second, students of SCC considered activities that require interaction and collaboration among community members (like experiments, hands-on activities, club activities, project works, R&E) to be very positive. Third, SCC students thought that the educational activities of SCSs were not only effective to CoP aims (i.e. self-driven learning, sharing learning outcomes, peer collaboration) but also positive to general aims of science education (i.e. acquiring knowledge, understanding scientific concepts, science-related attitudes). In other words, it appears that educational activities that were effective in vitalizing the CoP have positive effects on ordinary science education, too. These features of SCSs illustrate its possibility of forming strategic COPs in the context of often government-driven Korean education and of bringing in the innovations of school science education.

A Systematic Review of Praxis Function With Children: Based on Sensory Integration (아동의 실행기능 평가도구에 대한 체계적 고찰: 감각통합기반중심으로)

  • Objective : This study is to analyze the current trends of research and the subject and method of assessments used in praxis functions through a systematic review. Methods : Through the PubMed, Proquest, and Google database, research articles from January of 1985 through April of 2016 were searched. The keywords used for this search were "praxis AND (validity OR reliability) AND (assessment OR test) AND (preschooler OR child)". Additionally, the name for the assessments from the previous review studies of praxis function assessments was searched. In the end, 14 papers were chosen and 8 assessments that were used in these papers were analyzed. Results : Among the final 14 papers, 10 studies (71.4%) were level III (non-randomized one group) which was the largest number in this review, followed by 4 studies (28.6%) with level II (non-randomized two groups). There was no RCT study which is the level of evidence of the level I research. The results for the analysis of the subjects' age of the final 8 assessments that were chosen showed that most of the praxis function assessments were developed for children. There were 6 assessments of which their reliability and validity were verified and other 2 assessments of which their reliability and validity were not both verified. Conclusion : This study proposes the current trends of research of praxis function assessments. The study's significance is that it provides a research evidence when choosing and utilizing assessments for the children.

Science Teachers' Perception on Major Features of the 2007 Revised Science Curriculum for Class Implementation (2007년 개정 과학과 교육과정의 주요 내용의 실행에 관한 과학 교사의 인식)

  • This study aimed to investigate how science teachers perceived major features of the 2007 revised science curriculum and implementing them in classes. The 2007 revised science curriculum included critical features such as creativity, open inquiry, science writing, discussion and STS. In terms of necessity, clarity and complexity of those features for curriculum implementation, teacher perceptions were examined. Particularly with regard to open inquiry assigned 6 class periods per semester as one of the critical features of 2007 revised science curriculum, we asked teachers how they would prepare and implement the technique in their teaching. In results of this study, science teachers agreed on the necessity and importance of those major features of the 2007 revised science curriculum, including creativity, open inquiry, science writing, discussion, and STS. However, they were not clear on how those would work in their classrooms and expected various impediments. Open inquiry was specifically perceived as most negative in its implementation with the mention of various complex reasons. Based on findings in this study, we proposed the 'Dual Action Research Model' for curriculum implementation. It tries to explain how curriculum is implemented in classrooms and diminish the gaps between curriculum developers and teacher users by means of leading teachers to understand the curriculum meaningfully and implement their teaching based on this understanding.

A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Simultaneous Dual-Task Training on Executive Function in Older Adults (동시적 이중과제 훈련이 노인의 실행기능에 미치는 효과: 체계적 고찰 및 메타분석)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of simultaneous dual-task training to assess executive function in older adults. Methods : We searched the PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane, Web of Science, and RISS databases of publicated studies in the past decade. Seven studies were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Qualitative assessment and meta-analysis were performed for the seven studies. Results : A randomized controlled trial design was used in the selected studies, and PEDro Scores above seven were obtained. The Trial Making Test (TMT) evaluated the effects of dual-task training on executive function in four studies. The Color Trail Test (CTT) was used in two studies, and Stroop test was used in three studies. The effect size for total executive function was 0.38, which was small. The effect sizes for TMT and CTT were 0.37. Stroop Test was 0.34, demonstrating that their effect sizes were also small. Only significant effects in total executive function, TMT, and CTT showed significant effects (all p<0.05). Conclusion : This study confirmed that dual-task training was effective in improving executive function in older adults. To improve the effectiveness of dual-task training, the difficulty of the dual-task training should be considered. It is also necessary to implement assessments that can evaluate performance under dual-task conditions as well as conventional test tools for executive function. In the future, dual-task training could be used as an appropriate intervention for executive function in older adults to delay the onset of dementia.

Action Research to Improve the Curriculum for Early Childhood Language Education Based on Design Thinking for Prospective Kindergarten Teachers (예비유아교사를 위한 디자인씽킹 중심의 유아언어교육 교과목 개선을 위한 실행연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the curriculum of major subjects by constructing and applying design thinking centered 'early childhood language education' for prospective kindergarten teachers, and to cultivate their teaching ability in the classroom. As a result of the study, it is as follows. First, in the improvement of 'early childhood language education' subjects centered on design thinking, the "plan" stage recognizes the problem of interest in language education and the execution of language areas. In the "action" step, they created a interesting stationery for plays that can be actively expressed for young children who are hard to write. In the "re-action after reflection" steps, they have developed creative writing based on the diverse experience of the who have been working on a kindergarten field practice, Second, The meaning of the implementation for the major classes based on the design thinking is listening to young children than given practice, and self-reflection and growth through sympathy and cooperation. The implications of this study are needed to change the various major classes and the experience of problem solving is that it is also helpful for the autonomy and expertise of prospective kindergarten teachers.

Access Control using Secured Container-based Virtualization (보안 컨테이너 가상화 기반 접근 제어)

  • Container-based virtualization reduces performance overhead compared with other virtualization technologies and guarantees an isolation of each virtual execution environment. So, it is being studied to block access to host resources or container resources for sandboxing in restricted system resource like embedded devices. However, because security threats which are caused by security vulnerabilities of the host OS or the security issues of the host environment exist, the needs of the technology to prevent an illegal accesses and unauthorized behaviors by malware has to be increased. In this paper, we define additional access permissions to access a virtual execution environment newly and control them in kernel space to protect attacks from illegal access and unauthorized behaviors by malware and suggest the Container Access Control to control them. Also, we suggest a way to block a loading of unauthenticated kernel driver to disable the Container Access Control running in host OS by malware. We implement and verify proposed technologies on Linux Kernel.

  • Graphical Processing Units(GPUs) achieve high performance undertaking from relatively uniformed computation in parallel. The technology related to General Purpose GPU(GPGPU) has been enhanced, which provides concurrent kernel execution of multi and diverse applications at the same time, but it is still limited to support resource sharing or planning. NVIDIA recently introduces Multi-Process Service(MPS), which allows kernels from different applications can be execute concurrently. However, the strength of MPS comes along with the characteristics of applications and the order of their execution. This paper shows the performance analysis of diverse scientific applications in real world. Based on the analysis, we prove that it is important to the identify characteristics of co-run applications, and to schedule multiple applications via profiling to maximize MPS functionality.

Future Mathematics Teacher's Carrying Out a Mathematics Class Using a Socrates' Method (예비수학교사의 산파법 적용 수학 수업 실행)

  • In this research, we investigated the effects of mathematics education in using Socrates , method in a course of mathematics education in teacher's college. And we proposed some suggestions for education of future mathematics teachers. This study was conducted with 44 university students(third grade) who entered the department of mathematics education (future mathematics teachers) in 2005. We took a course in curriculum that was required for the future mathematics teachers in my department. In this course, we began with the reading the famous dialogue between Socrates and Meno's slave. And we analysed Socrates' questioning of Meno's slave and tried to understand what this dialogue is implicating in mathematics education. All the participants in this course was divided 11 groups. Each group designed a school mathematics class plan using Socrates' method and practiced their teaching plan by a performance(students' announcements). Through the analysis of research data. Five effects of mathematics education in using Socrates' method for future mathematics teachers were induced. Therefore, we suggest that future mathematics teacher need to have many opportunity to design and practice a mathematics teaching plan by using mathematics teaching-learning methods taught in their course.
