Evaluation of KOMPSAT-2 System in the Conducted EMC Environment (전도성 전자파환경에서의 다목적실용위성 2호 시스템 설계 검증)

  • Satellite generates a complex electromagnetic noise by conducted and radiated coupling effect of the various electrical instruments. This noise may cause serious problems on the satellite system. To minimize the electromagnetic coupling effects and maintain the system safety margin, system noise reduction technique should be applied from the beginning of the system design. The KOMPSAT-2 system is evaluated by measuring the conducted noise on system electrical power leads and verifying a 6dB system safety margin under the complex noise environment with current injection. This paper describes the KOMPSAT-2 system evaluation result performed on ETB(Electrical Test Bed) and the analysed noise element, the analysed result will be reflected on FM(Flight Model) EMC test.

  • The design of reaction wheel control logic is critical to achieve the spacecraft attitude stabilization and performance requirements for the successful mission. Due to various uncertainties on orbit there exist limitation to obtain the model parameters through the ground tests and to design the associated control logic. Thus, the model parameter correction using on-orbit data is essential to the control performance on orbit. This paper performs the system identification using KOMPSAT-1 telemetry data and extracts the model parameters of the reaction wheel. Moreover, the reaction wheel is remodeled and compared with the ground test results.

  • In order to use a RDBMS as the repository for product information, it is essential that the ontological query be processed effectively and answered properly, satisfying the user's expectations for an ontological query process. To be well-processed ontological queries, the key point is whether the various semantic relationships among the concepts of the product information are likewise well-processed. For feasibly processing a semantic query, we need to consider how the product ontology data is designed and stored in RDBMS. In this paper, we present how a RDB schema for the product ontology could be designed and queried.

  • One of the mechanical system engineer's tasks of satellite design and development is to make the control plan, keep track and estimate the characteristics of system mass properties. As the design phases are going on, mass properties related activities also transit as like a data collection, system mass property estimation and measurement. Fidelity of mass properties database should be confirmed through measurement test. In this paper the control plan and estimation of system mass properties are explained by the actual data and experience of the development of satellite and the fidelity of mass properties database was confirmed through measurement test.

  • 원예산물은 그 특성상 장기 보관이 어렵고 가격의 변동이 심한 생산품 중에 하나이다. 또한 생산지에서의 출하단가와 소비지에서의 가격차가 심해 생산자들에게 돌아가야 할 부분들이 유통과정에서 소멸되는 특징을 가지고 있다. 본 논문은 저장창고를 중심으로 한 원예산물의 출하시기 결정을 위한 의사결정지원시스템을 설계하고 시스템 설계시 요구되는 주요요소들을 정의하고 있다. 또한, 저장창고에서의 출하시기 결정을 위한 정보시스템을 구축하여 그 실용성을 보여주고 있다.

  • This paper describes a seismic design procedure for rib-reinforced RBS(Reduced Beam Section) steel moment connections. Engineers often use rib plates to enhance seismic performance of steel moment connections. thinking that the 2nd moment of inertia is increased so that the tensile stress in the beam flange groove weld is reduced However the force transfer mechanism in the rib connections is completely different from that as predicted by the classical beam theory ; a clear diagonal strut action is present in the rib. By treating the rib as a strut the writer has recently proposed an equivalent strut model that could be used as the basis of a practical design procedure. In this paper the proposed equivalent strut model is briefly presented first. A step-by-step design procedure is then recommended based on the proposed model.

  • VLSI 칩 설계는 매우 복잡한 공정이기 때문에 여러 단계, 즉 크게 분류하여 구조 설계, 논리 설계, 물리 설계 등의 과정을 거쳐 완성하게 된다. 그리고 각 단계에서는 그 단계에서 사용될 수 있는 소프트웨어의 도움을 받게 되며, 이런 소프트웨어의 도움 없이는 오늘날의 고밀도 칩 설계는 불가능하다. 각 단계에서 사용되는 소프트웨어의 주요한 기능 중 하나가 시뮬레이션 등을 통한 설계의 적합성을 테스트하는 것이라면 또 다른 주요한 기능은 설계자로 하여금 눈으로 확인하며, 변형된 설계의 일부를 눈으로 볼 수 있도록 보여주는 기능이라고 볼 수 있다. 논 본문에서는 칩 설계에서 가장 복잡한 단계라고 볼 수 있는 물리 설계 과정에 사용될 수 있는 Viewer를 설계하고 구현하여 제안한 Viewer를 통하여 회로의 정보를 보여 주며, 또한 상이한 레이아웃을 비교할 수 있도록 도와 준다. 설계된 Viewer 는 비록 초기버전이지만 물리 설계 단계에서 매우 중요한 정보, 예를 들어 critical net, 상이한 배치 등을 눈으로 확인하게 도와줌으로써 물리 설계에 관계된 다른 소프트웨어의 성능 개선을 유도할 수 있으며 또 실제 칩 설계 현장에서 바로 사용될 수 있기 때문에 실용성이 매우 높다.

  • This study aims to enhance learners' creative and integrative thinking through the use of a practical music education program, facilitating high-quality artistic activities and the integration of various disciplines. To achieve this, a practical music education program incorporating the PDIE model was designed, and the content validity of the developed program was verified. Through this process, We have researched and described methodologies for multidisciplinary research that can be applied in practical music education. This paper focuses on the fourth session of the study, which deals with the creative and integrative education of practical music and mathematics. The mathematical theory of interest in this research is the Fibonacci sequence, fundamental to the golden ratio in art. The goal is to enable balanced and high-quality creative activities through learning and applying the Fibonacci sequence. Additionally, to verify the validity and effectiveness of the instructional plan, including the one used in the 15-week course, we have detailed the participants involved in the content validation, the procedures of the research, the research tools used, and the methods for collecting and analyzing various data. Through this, We have confirmed the potential of creative and integrative education in higher practical music education and sought to develop educational methodologies for cultivating various creative talents in subsequent research.

  • 위성은 일단 한 번 발사하고 나면 운용궤도상에서 수리 및 회수가 거의 불가능하기 때문에 위성에 들어가는 모든 개발 부품들은 완벽한 설계, 충분한 해석, 고 작업도의 제작, 그리고 다양한 시험이 반드시 수반되어야 한다. 위성시스템에서 전자 소자의 신뢰성에 영향을 주는 인자는 다양하다. 과도한 열은 전자소자의 실패를 유발해서 결과적으로는 전체 위성의 실패를 유도할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 다목적 실용위성 2호의 고전력 소산 전장품의 열부하 완화를 위한 방안을 경우별로 연구 비교하였다. 고전력 소산 전장품의 열부하를 완화하기 위해서는 하우징 두께의 증가가 필요하며, 전력조절기의 다이오드나 트랜지스터처럼 전력소산이 큰 소자에 대해서는 장착위치를 변경하거나 장착 부분의 열전도율을 증가시키는 방법이 필요하다. 또한 전력조절기처럼 장착면이 좁은 경우에는 복사의 영향이 크며, 이러한 전장품의 열부하를 완화하기 위해서는 주위 벽면의 온도를 낮추거나 하우징 표면 방사율을 증가시키는 방법이 효과적임이 알 수 있다.

  • This paper shows the development status of attitude control thruster for KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite). Hanwha Corp. has manufactured and delivered 1.0 lbf monopropellant thrusters under the technology transfer of TRW Co. in U.S.A regarding design, analysis and manufacturing of MRE-1 thruster These thrusters will be installed to KOMPSAT which is scheduled to be launched in July 1999. Monopropellant thrusters can provide reliable and cost-effective means of propulsive control for middle class satellite and maneuvering control systems. Some information concerning with system specification, performance analysis/simulations and manufacturing process has been introduced in this paper.
