The usage of convergency technology for ROGA algorithm application on step walking of biped robot (이족 로봇의 계단 보행에서 Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm 의 융합 기술의 사용)

  • The calculation of the optimal trajectory of the stepped top-down robot was made using a genetic algorithm and a computational torque controller. First, the total energy efficiency was minimized using the Red-Cold Generic Algorithm (RCGA) consisting of reproductive, cross, and mutation. The reproducibility condition related to the position assembly of the start and end of the stride and the joints, angles, and angular velocities are linear constraints. Next, the unequal constraint accompanies the condition for preventing the collision of the swing leg at the corner with the outer surface of the stairs, the condition of the knee joint for preventing kinematic peculiarity, and the condition of no moment in safety in the traveling direction. Finally, the angular trajectory of each joint is defined by fourth-order polynomial whose coefficient is to approximate chromosomes. This is to approximate walking. In this study, the energy efficiency of the optimal trajectory was analyzed by computer simulation through a biped robot with seven degrees of freedom composed of seven links.

An Improvement of the Schedulability Condition in Dynamic Priority Ceiling Protocol (동적 우선순위 상한 프로토콜의 스케줄링 가능성 조건 개선)

  • When tasks access shared resources in real-time systems, the unbounded priority inversion may occur. In such cases it is impossible to guarantee the schedulability of real-time tasks. Several resource access protocols have been proposed to bound the duration of priority inversion and sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the schedulability of periodic task set. In this paper, we show an improved sufficient condition for schedulability when the dynamic priority ceiling protocol is used. Our approach exploits the fact that a lower priority task can continue to execute as far as the higher priority tasks do not miss their deadlines. This permitting execution time of the higher priority tasks for a lower priority task can be excluded from the worst-case blocking time of the higher priority tasks. Since the worst-case blocking time of tasks can be reduced, the sufficient condition for schedulability of dynamic priority ceiling protocol becomes further tight.

  • These days the researches using IT technologies have been done to decrease the traffic accident. Especially, the optimal safety speed considering the weather conditions have to be calculated in real time to protect the traffic accident on the high way in the case of the rain and snow. In this paper, we have simulated the automatic warning broadcasting system for the freezing and foggy regions based on Web to protect the traffic accident. Also, we have developed the simulator that can provide the drivers with the optimal safety speed in real time to protect the traffic accident even under the worst weather conditions using the Fuzzy Reasoning rules.

  • In this paper, we propose the beam-steering system using Rotman lens antenna operating at 2.442GHz which is to replace an expensive phase shifter. The overall system consists of the transmission antennas, Rotman lens and switch box. Setting the initial design conditions, it was designed and fabricated satisfying the requirements. From the result tested in the anechoic chamber, it was found that the beam can be steered using Rotman lens in the anechoic chamber. We also visually checked the beam-steering by turning on the LED of the rectenna showing the real-time beam receiving.

  • In this paper, the real time characteristics analyzing system is proposed to analyze characteristics of inverter. The system is consisted of DSP unit and personal computer. Conventionally, power conversion system is designed by the load and the use. And control characteristics for the designed power conversion system is evaluated by the control input. In order to study of control methods, power conversion system is required for a study of control methods and observed system is required for a analyzing of the inverter. Inverter system is consisted to evaluate for proposed real time characteristics analyzing system. And induction motor is driven by control input that is manufactured by personal computer. Output of inverter and control characteristics is variously analyzed.

  • This paper proposes and evaluates a scheme which enhances real-time performance on the Ethernet-based residential network where cable length is very short and most of traffic passes through a specific device. The scheme aims at enhancing deadline meet ratio of the real-time traffic, for example, video stream by means of applying the functionalities such as queue discrimination and early packet discard as well as maintaining network load properly. The design includes the description on hardware interfaces along with the software modules such as scheduler, device driver and connection manager. The simulation results via SMPL suggest that the proposed network can be used as a cost-effective residential network. We also measure the permissible bandwidth for non-real-time traffic without degrading the performance of real-time traffic.

  • 최근 들어 이상기후 등 다양한 환경적 요인으로 인해 국지적이고 집중적인 호우가 빈발하고 있으며 도로상의 교통체증과 도로재해가 사회적으로 큰 문제가 되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 실시간, 단기간 이동성 강우정보 기술과 도로 기상정보를 활용할 수 있는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 차량의 AW(AutoWiping) 기능을 위해 장착된 강우센서를 이용하여 강우정보를 생산하는 기술을 개발하고자 하였다. 강우센서는 총 4개의 채널로 이루어져있고, 초당 250개의 광신호 데이터를 수집하며, 1시간이면 약 360만 개의 데이터가 생산되게 된다. 5단계의 인공강우를 재현하여 실내 인공강우실험을 실시하고 이를 통해 강우센서 데이터와 강우량과의 상관성을 W-S-R관계식으로 정의하였다. 실내실험데이터와 비교하여 외부환경 및 데이터 생성조건이 다른 실외 데이터의 누적값을 계산하기 위해 Threshold Map 방식을 개발하였다. 강우센서에서 생산되는 대량의 데이터를 이용하여 실시간으로 정확한 강우정보를 생산하기 위해 빅 데이터 처리기법을 사용하여 계산된 실내 데이터의 Threshold를 강우강도 및 채널에 따라 평균값을 계산하고 $4{\times}5$ Threshold Map(4 = 채널, 5 = 강우정보 사상)을 생성하였고 강우센서 기반의 강우정보 생산에 적합한 빅데이터 처리기법을 선정하기 위하여 빅데이터 처리기법 중 Gradient Descent와 Optima Rainfall Intensity을 적용하여 분석하고 결과를 지상 관측강우와 비교검증을 하였다. 이 결과 Optima Rainfall Intensity의 적합도를 검증하였고 실시간으로 관측한 8개 강우사상을 대상으로 강우센서 강우를 생산하였다.

  • In this paper, 3D input and output systems for a web-based real-time 3D video communication system using IEEE 1394 digital cameras, Intel Xeon Server system and Microsoft Directshow library is proposed. And some conditions for optimizing the operations of the stereo camera, 3D display and signal processing system are analyzed. Input & output systems are carefully selected, which can satisfy the required optimization conditions and the final 3D video communication system is implemented by using three optimized devices. The overall control system is developed with Microsoft Visual C++.Net and Microsoft DirectX 9.1 SDK. Some experimental results show that the observer can feel the natural presence from multi-view(4-view) 3D video of server system in real-time and also can feel the natural presence from 3D video of client system and finally suggest an application possibility of the proposed web-based real-time 3D video communication in real fields.

  • In this paper, we propose a real-tin e face recognition system that is robust under various lighting conditions. Th Modified Census Transform algorithm that is insensitive to illumination variations is employed to extract local structure features. In a practical face recognition system, acquired images through a camera are likely to be blurred and some of them could be side face images, resulting that unacceptable performance could be obtained. To improve stability of a practical face recognition system, we propose a real-time algorithm that rejects unnecessary facial picture and makes use of recognition consistency between successive frames. Experimental results on the Yale database with large illumination variations show that the proposed approach is approximately 20% better than conventional appearance-based approaches. We also found that the proposed real-time method is more stable than existing methods that produces recognition result for each frame.

  • Real-time extraction of traffic information such as the number of vehicles passing, speed, road-occupancy rate, distance between vehicles, and vehicle types from the traffic scenes acquired from the camera on the road, is a core component of the intelligent transportation system(lTS) We present a scheme of extracting the traffic informations based on the spatio-temporal image analysis, which is robust to the variation of weather conditions and the shades. The images of two detection regions for each traffic lane are classified into one of the three categories: the road, the vehicle, and the shade, using the statistical and structural features Quantitative traffic informations are retrieved by analysing the two spatio-temporal images. Since only the local images of detection regions are processed, the real-time operation of more than 30 frames per second is realized while ensuring the detection performance robust to the operating condition.
