Development of Livestock Traceability System Based on Implantable RFID Sensor Tag with MFAN (MFAN/RFID 생체 삽입형 센서 태그 기반 가축 이력 관리 시스템 개발)

  • With the recent increased risk of livestock disease spread and human infection, livestock disease control has become very important. Consequently, there has been an increased attention on an implantable real-time monitoring and traceability system for individual cattle. Therefore, we have developed a robust monitoring and traceability system based on an implantable MFAN/RFID sensor tag. Our design combines the MFAN technology that is capable of robust wireless communication within cattle sheds and the 900MHz RFID technology that is capable of wireless communication without battery. In MFAN/RFID implantable sensor tag monitoring system, UHF sensor tag is implanted under the skin and accurately monitors the body temperature and biological changes without being affected by external environment. In order to acquire power needed by the tag, we install a MFAN/RFID tranceiver on the neck of cattle. The MFAN coordinator passes through the MFAN node and the RFID-reader-combined MFAN/RFID transceiver and transmits/receives the data and power for the sensor tag. The data stored in the MFAN coordinator is transmitted via the internet to the livestock history monitoring system, where it is stored and managed. By developing this system, we hope to alleviate the problems related to livestock disease control.

  • Recently, the management system of wastewater treatment facility has magnified due to the stringent regulations for the protection of the environment, and a sewage treatment plant efficiency and research of the car development are activated in large facilities or industrial park. however, the existing sewerage disposal system and specific water quality monitoring network reliability for real-time transmission of this building is insufficient. In this paper, we proposed a local wireless network design for sludge multi meter data collection and control for measuring the concentration of the sludge efficiently. Also, the collected data over the local wireless network to transmitted to the central monitoring system and accumulate the data in real time to calculate statistics is possible to monitor the status of the sewage treatment facilities. The proposed system uses a short-range wireless networks of IEEE 802.15.4 and configures an IEEE 802.11 network which can monitor real-time status in central system. Also, we install a sludge multimeter and communication network in sewage treatment facilities and confirm the usefulness of the proposed technique by demonstrating its effectiveness.

춘.추분 시기 천리안위성에 미치는 태양 영향

  • 천리안위성은 우리나라 최초의 정지궤도복합위성(COMS: Communication, Ocean, and Meteorological Satellite)으로 2010년 6월 27일, 남미 기아나 쿠루기지에서 아리안-5 로켓에 의해 발사된 후 동경 128.2도, 적도 상공 약 35,800 km 고도의 정지궤도에 안착되었다. 이 후 궤도상시험 기간과 안정화 기간을 거쳐 2011년 4월 1일, 기상청은 위성자료 서비스를 시작하였다. 천리안위성의 기상영상기는 한반도 주변의 기상변화와 전 지구적 기후 변화 및 대기 운동을 감시하기 위해 실시간 관측 및 전송 시스템을 갖춘 탑재체이다. 이 기상영상기는 하루 8번의 지구 반면 영역과 각각 80번 내외의 북반구 및 한반도 영역을 관측하며, 이 자료는 지상에서 복사보정과 기하보정을 거친 후 위성을 통해 다시 사용자에게 배포된다. 천리안위성 기상영상기는 쉼 없이 관측하고, 일정 시간 이내에 그 자료를 배포해야 한다. 이러한 자료서비스는 운영시스템의 장애나 자연현상에 의한 자료 미수신 혹은 미처리가 발생할 경우 운영 결과 및 성과에 영향을 미친다. 이와 같은 장애에 대비해 국가기상위성센터는 이중화된 시스템을 구축했으며, 자료 백업 부기관으로서 한국항공우주연구원과의 사이트 이중화도 시행하고 있다. 그러나 정지궤도에 있는 위성과 태양 및 지구의 역학적인 관계에 따라 태양 전파 잡음의 영향인 태양간섭과, 위성 태양전지판 충전 장애를 일으킬 수 있는 위성식, 그리고 위성 자정 주변에 발생할 수 있는 태양광 침입 및 산란광 영향 등은 미리 예측되어야 하며, 이 시기 운영 방안 마련과 사용자 공지 등의 조치가 수반되어야 한다. 국가기상위성센터는 춘 추분 시기에 발생하는 이러한 태양 영향을 예측하고 검증했으며, 이 시기 위성 및 지상국의 효율적인 운영방안을 마련하였다.

  • HACCP is a scientific and systematic program that identifies specific hazards and gives measurements in order to control them and ensure the safety of foods. Transportation of livestock and its products is one of the vulnerable sectors regarding food safety in Korea, as meats are transported by truck in the form of a carcass or packaged meat in a box. HACCP application and its acceleration of distribution, in particular transportation, are regarded as important to providing consumers with ultimately safe livestock products. To achieve this goal, practical tools for HACCP application should be developed. Supply chain management (SCM) is a holistic and strategic approach to demand, operations, procurement, and logistics process management. SCM has been beneficially applied to several industries, notably in vehicle manufacture and the retail trade. HACCP-based real-time visibility system using wireless application (WAP) of the livestock distribution is centralized management system that enables control of temperature and HACCP management in real-time for livestock transportation. Therefore, the application of HACCP to livestock distribution (transportation, storage, and sale) can be activated. Using this system, HACCP management can be made easier, and distribution of safe livestock products can be achieved.

  • Current is change to concept that management traffic of ship os magnified gradually to near shore waters from harbor. Therefore, introducing the technology of AIS in the ground station, lighthouse, bouy, sea facilities etc.. that is support equipment for safety sailing of ship and safety security of harbor and ship administration. The operation and maintenance of AIS for aids to navigation are required to efficient method. With this actuality, sea advanced nation of EU, USA, Japan that has been apply for developing AtoN AIS equipment that is connected equipment of technology standard in IALA. Because of it is expected to depend equipment in income, that is required to domestic technology of the AtoN AIS. This paper is targeted to development that is suitable automation AtoN AIS equipment in environmental peculiarity for constructor AtoN operating administration center. It has been realization send protocol for information interchange.

  • In this paper, we present a Smart Water Treatment Plant using Zigbee USN devices and a real-time monitoring system in K-water Flow Meter Calibration Center Building. For verification, the data of vertical type WTP such as flow rate, pressure, water level and water temperature are obtained by the Zigbee USN devices, operating in 2.45 GHz band, and be wirelessly surveilled by the real-time monitoring system. The received data from the sensor is transmitted to the data processing device, and then the processed data can be monitored on a smart phone. Consequently, the pilot plant based on the low-cost and high-efficiency USN has been developed with the performance analysis for the communication network and remote monitoring system on mobile devices.

달을 이용한 천리안위성 기상영상기 노화 경향 분석

  • 천리안위성은 통신, 해양, 기상 임무를 띤 우리나라 최초의 정지궤도복합위성으로 지난 2010년 6월 27일 성공적으로 발사된 후 동경 128.2도, 적도 상공 약 35,800 km 고도의 정지궤도에 안착되었다. 이 후 약 6개월 여의 궤도상시험 기간과 2개월의 안정화 기간을 거쳐 2011년 4월 1일, 기상청은 위성자료 서비스를 위한 정규운영을 시작하였다. 천리안위성의 기상탑재체인 기상영상기는 다중채널 복사계로 한반도 주변뿐만 아니라 전 지구적 기후 변화 및 대기 운동 그리고 급변하는 기상상황을 감시하기 위해 실시간 관측과 전송 시스템을 갖추고 있다. 이 기상영상기를 운용하는 기상청 국가기상위성센터 지상국에서는 자료수신 및 영상전처리시스템을 갖추고 수신된 위성신호로부터 영상 분리 후 복사보정 및 기하보정을 수행하며, 위성자료배포시스템을 통해 일정 시간 간격 내에 사용자들에게 처리 자료를 배포하고 있다. 영상 복사보정은 기상영상기 내의 각 채널별 디텍터가 감지한 지구복사휘도의 전기적 신호를 지상에서 복사휘도와 휘도온도 값으로 변환하는 작업이다. 절대검정체로서 흑체와 우주보기 값을 이용하는 적외채널과 달리, 가시채널 디텍터는 절대검정체가 탑재되어있지 않기 때문에 우주보기 값 외에 대리검정 방법을 이용한다. 이러한 가시채널 노화도 분석에 달 관측을 통한 비교 분석이 한 방법으로 제시되고 있다. 천리안위성 기상영상기의 정규운영 1년간의 가시채널 디텍터의 노화도는 6 % 이내로 측정되었고, 이는 일반적인 정지궤도위성 센서의 노화도인 6 % 내외 값 변화량에 견주어 잘 운용되고 있음을 시사한다. 본 논문에는 천리안위성 기상영상자료의 품질 및 매개변수의 변화 경향도 함께 제시하였으며, 달을 이용한 기상영상기 노화 분석과 보정에 관한 내용을 싣고 있다.

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF HITL SIMULATOR COUPLEING COMMUNICATIONS PAYLOAD AND SOFTWARE SPACECRAFT BUS (통신탑재체와 소프트웨어 위성버스체를 통합한 HITL 시뮬레이터의 설계 및 구현)

  • Engineering qualification model payload for a communications and broadcasting satellite(CBS) was developed by ETRI from May, 2000 to April, 2003. For. the purpose of functional test and verification of the payload, a real-time hardware-in-the-loop(HITL) CBS simulator(CBSSIM) was also developed. We assumed that the spacecraft platform for the CBSSIM is a geostationary communication satellite using momentum bias three-axis stabilization control technique based on Koreasat. The payload hardware is combined with CBSSIM via Power, Command and Telemetry System(PCTS) of Electrical Ground Support Equipment(EGSE). CBSSIM is connected with PCTS by TCP/IP and the payload is combined with PCTS by MIL-STD-1553B protocol and DC harness. This simulator runs under the PC-based simulation environment with Windows 2000 operating system. The satellite commands from the operators are transferred to the payload or bus subsystem models through the real-time process block in the simulator. Design requirements of the CBSSIM are to operate in real-time and generate telemetry. CBSSIM provides various graphic monitoring interfaces and control functions and supports both pre-launch and after-launch of a communication satellite system. In this paper, the HITL simulator system including CBSSIM, communications payload and PCTS as the medium of interface between CBSSIM and communications payload will be described in aspects of the system architecture, spacecraft models, and simulator operation environment.

  • Today the service industry is growing, and differentiated services for marketing and service quality is emerging as a serious problem. Until now, the WebCam is used for observation, and the negative aspects, such as from a human rights issue has become. Discipline and Punish is not to use a webcam to customer satisfaction research is needed. Therefore, wireless monitoring in WebCam service quality of the service reconfiguration and service quality factors for the configuration of the customer's preference regarding how research was recognized. Configuration of the service quality factors WebCam service customer satisfaction and customer loyalty was to identify factors that affect. These services to study the correlation between the quality variables WebCam provides wireless monitoring services for the preschool and children, a survey of the house. Configuring a wireless monitoring service quality in order to research the factors WebCam video quality and transmission speed, mobility and portability, convenience, visibility, reliability, and the interaction of the castle set. Severely and video quality and transmission speed, visibility, reliability, customer satisfaction, the interaction factors are said. Inclination to participate in social issues, innovation, digital devices that use a skilled, depending on the difference in the service quality has been confirmed. However, the age and quality of service awareness and job types showed a low correlation, and the marketing of these results will be discussed and how that can be used.

  • In this paper, an algorithm of extracting the features of home appliances and automatically building a database to identify home appliances is designed and presented. For the verification, a software library supporting this algorithm is implemented and added to an power management system server, which was already implemented to support real-time monitoring of home appliances' power consumption status and controlling their power. The implemented system consists of a system server and clients, each of which measures the power consumed by a home appliance plugged in it and transmits the information to the server in real-time over a wireless network. Through experiments, it is verified that it is possible to identify any home appliance connected to a specific client.
