A perceptual reaction to human being's gaits has "regularity" that possibly obtains sympathy among people. This thesis is in the vein of the study that performs the research on the quantificational extraction of the regularity, reconstitute the result, and apply it to controlling behavior. The purpose of this thesis lies in assuring the validity of the future research by demonstrating the following hypothesis: when the physical numerical values of the gait "A" whose perceptual reaction is "a" and those of the gait "B" whose perceptual reaction is "b" are arbitrarily blended, the perceptual reaction to this blended gait also corresponds to the blend of "a" and "b", "a/b". I blended the samples of two types of gaits in the form of Bipeds using the EAM made by 3D Studio Max Script. Blending outcomes were obtained successfully for four times out of the six tries in total. It implies that without utilizing other methods such as Motion Capturing, the basic Bipeds data itself has an enough capability to generate various gaits of Bipeds. Although the present research targets only the Bipeds samples equipped with the 1Cycle moving condition of arms and legs, I acknowledge that a tool that makes blending possible under various moving conditions is necessary for a completed system.

Since founded in 1959, it's well known that the KAPD has pioneered in the researches and clinical aspects of pediatric dentistry in Korea. It's official journal, the Journal of the KAPD, was first published in 1974 and has pressed total 956 articles up to now(March, 2001). In this study, all the articles pressed in this journal have been surveyed, focussing in their main theme, their chronological and thematic distribution. The thematic classification was made with the reference of the previous studies and renowned textbooks in pediatric dentistry. And we obtained the results as follows: 1. The researches on dental materials and dental equipments have shown continuous increase throughout the period. 2. The researches on dental caries, caries prevention and systemic disorders have occupied relatively high proportion consistently. 3. The researches on malocclusions and cysts/minor surgery have shown increasing tendency in the second period, but are decreasing in the third period. 4. The researches on craniofacial growth/development, tooth development/eruption, developmental disorders of teeth, management of eruption space have shown decreasing tendency. 5. The researches on behavioral research, oral habits, occlusion of primary-mixed dentition have shown very low proportion, reaching no more than 1% throughout the period.
This article aims to interpret the meaning of the sentence "The night a green frog ached its stomach to death $\sim$", based upon the characteristics of certain Shijo poems which featured handicapped animals. Many Shijo poems feature animals, but they rarely feature them in a handicapped state. In those cases, readers usually try to identify the intentions of the author with the unjust and wrongful situations of the time the poem was written, but yet another interpretation could be presented, considering the premises necessary for understanding Saseol Shijo poems. Only among Saseol Shijo poems handicapped animals can be found in a Shijo text, and they are referred to and sung not in the stage of 'serious outbursts' being fired but during the stage of 'hollow jokes' being made. Any handicapped condition that an unhandicapped one could imitate could be imitated for humor, so the actions of a frog, a toad or an ant which forgot their own inabilities can be considered very comic and farcical in the eyes of the readers embracing the contents of the poem. In "The night a green frog ached its stomach to death$\sim$-"(#2834), the death of the green frog is no ordinary death. This particular frog could be referring to the baby frog which appeared in #3160, or the entire sentence could be referring to the fact that a particular figure which had already disrupted the atmosphere of the world inside the poem is no longer present in that world. Considering all these conditions inside the poem's own world, Shijo poems which featured handicapped animals were not meant to be delivering any kind of educational or critical messages, but they were rather either maintaining or heightening the mood inside the poem's own world.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the immediate effect of Patterned Sensory Enhancement (PSE) technique on the motor function of the affected upper limb in hemiplegic stroke patients by comparing the use of PSE and simple rhythmic cue. A total of 16 stroke patients were recruited from rehabilitative hospitals. The participants were assigned to the experimental group (n = 8) and control group (n = 8). While performing six different upper limb motions, musical stimuli applying the PSE technique was presented for the experimental group and simple rhythmic cue using the metronome was applied for the control group. The results showed that while the significantly increased range of motion (ROM) was found in the experimental group with the immediate use of PSE (p < .05), the control group did not show no significant change. This study implies that the use of musical elements in cueing for upper limb motion immediately leads to significant improvement in ROM by providing sufficient temporal, spatial, and dynamic information for expected motor performance.

Conventional upper extremity rehabilitation paradigm after brain injury has several shortcomings that is monotonous, simple, and repetitive in exercises over a long period of time, thereby causing training efficiency to decline as a consequence of low interest and participation. To resolve this issue, this paper proposes a new rehabilitative program integrating a wearable device integrated with EMG and motion sensor and a mobile game for the upper limbs' rehabilitative training. The developed wearable device is manufactured in the form of band, making it easy to wear. The mobile game is designed to enable rehabilitative training through games reflective of flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction identified by motion sensors along with grasp motion recognized by EMG signals measured from the wearable device. It also provides a tailored rehabilitative environment suitable for individual patients based on difficulty adjustments. As a consequence of applying the developed program to 14 brain injury in need of the upper limb rehabilitation and taking surveys on the utility of the developed rehabilitative program, the responses indicated that the developed rehabilitative program is far much more interesting and fun than the conventional rehabilitative program, further to the desire of those surveyed to reuse the developed program in the future.

Objective : Migration can be a stressful process to people because they have to adjust a lot of things including habits, routine and cultural behavior. Also, Migrant can negatively impact on participation in daily meaningful occupations. Thus, the purpose of this research is to investigate whether participation in meaningful occupations after immigration and environmental factors impact the QOL in migrant women. Method : Migrant females who live in Australia were invited to participate in the study (n= 9). In this study, participation, environmental factors and QOL were measured using the questionnaire, which was developed by researchers. Purposive sampling was used to select the participants who were then asked to fill out a survey. Both quantitative data and qualitative data were collected. The SPSS program was used to process the quantitative data that was transcribed and coded. Result : Spearman's rank correlation coefficient shows that the total scale of QOL and the total scale of occupational engagement were significantly correlated at the 0.05 level. Conclusion : There was a significant relationship between quality of life and occupational engagements. Migrant women tend to have a lack of participation in meaning occupations thus, it seems to impact on their quality of life.
The purpose of this study is to examine career maturity, self - management, and university life satisfaction according to general characteristics of college students. 403 students from Daegu and Gyeongbuk provinces were analyzed and analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression analysis focusing on factors such as general characteristics, personality traits, career attitude and self - management. As a result, according to the frequency and general characteristics of university life satisfaction, overall university life satisfaction was 3.29 out of 5 out of 5, and fresh students were higher than second year students. Also, the more open the personality, the higher the sincerity. The more self - management is the student who manage the life, the better the proper behavior management and physical management. In addition, students with a lower level of personality and a higher degree of readiness were more satisfied with college life than attitudes toward career maturity than those with lower grades. Based on these results, students with friendly characteristics can prepare well in career attitude maturity It is important to guide students well so that they can improve their college life satisfaction.

Objectives: This study measures nursing students' ability to recognize child abuse and identifies the factors related to varying levels of recognition. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, data were collected from 370 third and fourth year nursing students using a self-reported questionnaire during November 15-30, 2011. The measuring tool for child abuse recognition used in the study was developed by Ozasa (2011) and is composed of 44 items including physical, mental, and sexual abuse, and neglect. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, two sample t-tests, and regression analysis were evaluated with the SPSS/PC ver20.0 program. Results: Nursing students were concerned about child abuse(85.4%), but knew little about related laws and regulations(14.3%), and they had almost no formal education or training regarding how to recognize child abuse. They only 1.6% reported child abuse even if they encountered such incidents; however, they correctly recognized even infrequent incidents of child abuse. Recognition of sexual abuse ranked highest, while recognition of neglect ranked lowest. Those with higher levels of concern over child abuse showed higher recognition scores. Regression analysis revealed that physical abuse, mental abuse, and neglect had different related factors, while sexual abuse had none. Conclusion: Education and training on the subject of child abuse is strongly recommended in nursing curriculums so that nurses will be able to appropriately respond to and report suspected child abuse.

Present study investigated the relationship between children's psychiatric disorders and their mothers' psychological problems. Ninety-one psychiatric outpatients from a children's hospital were classified into three diagnostic groups - internalizing symptom group(n=35), externalizing symptom group(n=35), and developmental disorder group(n=21) - based on their psychiatric problems. A normal control group was formed by matching on the age and education of mothers. Mothers' MMPI profiles which were classified into five types - normal, depression, anxiety disorder, somatization disorder, and personality disorder - were examined in relation with children's diagnoses. The profiles of the mothers in the normal control group were mostly normal, while depressive profiles were dominant among those of the clinical groups regardless of the children's diagnoses. Therefore, the data implied association between children's psychiatric problems and their mothers' psychological problems. A possibility of negative reciprocal interactions between children and their mothers was discussed. It was also suggested that further research need to examine the specific effects of children's psychiatric problems on the psychological adjustment of their mothers, as well as the effects of parental psychiatric problems on the adjustment of their offsprings.

The fragile X syndrome, which is considered to be synonymous with the Martin-Bell syndrome, is a relatively common form of X-linked mental retardation. The syndrome seems to occure in many different ethnic groups and its prevalence among mentally retarded males has been estimated to be in the order of 2 to 6%. The karyotypic hallmark of the syndrome is made up with a pronounced constriction near each tip of the long arm of the X chromosome(fragile site), shown in vitro only under conditions in which thymidylate production is blocked(lowered folate levels). Special culture media are needed to demonstrate this constriction site. Major clinical features associated with the syndrome include macroorchidism, large or prominent ears, significant emotional and behavioral dysfunctions such as hyperactivity, self-injury, lack of eye contact and social interaction, schizophrenia, autism, etc., and speech and language dysfunctions ranging from nonverbal to verbal speech with moderate to severe expressive language delays. Some have minor clinical features in common such as an increase in birth weight high forehead, prognathism, increased head circumference in infancy and childhood which did not persist into adult life. The recent research findings have shown that the fragile X syndrome is associated with infantile autism. Many patients with the fragile X syndrome fulfill the diagnostic criteria for infantile autism. Therefore it is recommendable that any patient with developmental delays and autism or autistic manifestations should have a chromosomal analysis, including fragile X examination. In the present review, historical aspects, incidence, and clinical features are presented. Recent anecdotal reports of the association with autism and the clinical improvement following high dose folic acid treatment will be discussed.
