컴퓨터 스크린상에 어떤 물체의 형상을 나타낼 때 각 형태에 따라 그 표현 기법은 크게 두 분야로 나뉘게 되는데 대부분의 기계부품들처럼 원통이나 평면 등과 같이 기하학적 기본형태들로 이루어진 것과 사람이나 동물처럼 형상자체가 단순한 수학적공식으로 표현이 불가능한 형태(Free Form Geometry)로 분류된다. 어떤 대상물체가 선정되면 그것의 기하학적 형상을 먼저 컴퓨터 스크린상에 정확한 형상데이터로 표현된 다음 가시화를 위한 것이든 시뮬레이션 목적이든 그 형상 데이터가 이용된다. 이처럼 컴퓨터에 의한 모의 실험에서 대상물체를 모델링하는 단계는 반드시 필요하다. 최근 컴퓨터에 의한 각종 모델의 시뮬레이션을 시도할 때 Modeling 단계에서 수학적 공식으로 표현이 가능한 모델(Mathemeatical model)보다 임의 형태를 가진 모델(Physical model)표현에 많은 애로를 겪고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 인간이나 항공기처럼 복잡한 형태를 가진 물체형상을 컴퓨터 스크린상에 표현할 때 비교적 실물에 가까운 형상데이터를 얻는 기법들에 대해 기술하고 그 결과를 소개한다. 특히 인간의 정적 또는 동적인 자세변화에 따른 각 신체 부위의 정확한 계량분석을 시도할 때 본 기법들의 응용이 가능하다.

Body positivity has emerged among young social media users with the purpose of enhancing a positive body image. In the social media environment, body positivity is frequently presented in the forms of female models' images and/or words that represent individual attitudes toward the female body. The media effects on female viewers' body image differs based on the viewers' perceptions of their own body size. This experimental study examined how body positivity and types of expression on social media influence women's mood and appearance satisfaction by subjective body size. We randomly assigned to 415 young and middle-aged females to one of six experimental conditions which contained three images and three vignettes, each reflecting non-body positivity, body positivity, and control. We used a 3 (body positivity: non-body positivity vs body positivity vs. control) × 2 (types of body positivity expression on media: images vs vignettes) × 2 (subjective body size: under/normal weight vs overweight/obese) between-subject design. The results of MANCOVA revealed the significant main effects of subjective body size on women's mood and appearance satisfaction. There was a significant interaction effect of body positivity and subjective body size on appearance satisfaction. The stimuli representing body positivity caused positive psychological effects for women who perceive themselves being in the under/normal weight range.

Characters are composed of universal value system that can be applied to the oriental and western world, while there are based on the differences in general and cultural values distinguished by the said two worlds. In modern society expressed as the age of moving image, the products concerning the characters have played a role as a forerunner of the spread of culture in the formation of new markets, regardless of considering the relationship between animation industry in Korea and the counterparts in the USA and Japan. Furthermore, as a successful role model, eastern and western character industries have penetrated deeply into our daily lives, in terms of our cultural values. Based on the assumption that characters reflect the cultural values, This study investigates the meanings of bodily & linguistic expressions appeared in animation characters and reviews the method of enhancing their values and effectiveness as cultural assets.

This study focuses on the analysis of body images appearing in the fashion illustrations since the 1990's and thereby attempts to determine relationship between their expressional features and aesthetic values in reference to theory of post-structuralism. Especially among numerous post-structuralist, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze/Felix Guattari, and Julia Kristeva set unique arguments on body, which provide valuable leads to decipher the image of body. For that reason, body images shown in the fashion illustration are categorized into grotesque body, fragmented body, humanoid body, and post-gendered body, and reviewed their characteristics and aesthetic values based on critics of above three scholars. Findings are summarized as follows: First, image of body entails meaning of an resistance of traditional social concepts and order, and second it serves the purpose of creating a new and unique sense. Finally, it is not an object of representation of physical facts, but rather a representation of the real itself, apart from presenting the original material. Given arguments enhance understanding of images of body in fashion illustration in a broader sense.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the usage of voice scripting for speech characterization. The ultimate goal of acting is for an actor to create one's character both in physical and vocal sense, and to present them on stage. Toward this goal, actors train themselves with various methods and techniques as well as character analysis. Most of their efforts are put into for better physical and vocal expression. The vocal characterization on stage is heavily governed by the proper speech based on the effective respiration and voice. This paper provides the way of how to use sound scoring for effective vocal characterization on stage.

This study investigated the effectiveness of integrated movement on children's fundamental and expressive movement ability in all-day kindergarten. Subjects were 52 children in 2 all-day kindergartens in Daejeon. The Subjects were divided into an experimental and a control group. Integrated movement activities were applied in the experimental group for 7 weeks. Integrated movement activities were focused on the life theme according to the annual and weekly education plan and were composed by integrating both the basic area and the application area of movement. At the end of the training period, differences were found in fundamental and expressive movement ability between the experimental and the control groups.

The present study examined the effect on children's creativity of using painting masterpieces with activities of physical expression. Subjects were 32 five-year-old kindergarten children assigned to control or experimental groups. The experimental group participated in physical expression activities using painting masterpieces twice a week for six weeks. Figure paintings of such famous artists as Kim Hong Do, Kim Deek Shin, Degas and others were presented by Projection TV in connection with physical movement in the classroom. Creativity was tested by Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking(2002). Results showed that the experimental group exhibited positive change in creativity scores and the sub-areas of creativity(fluency, originality, abstractness of titles, elaboration, and resistance to premature closure).

감성이란 외부의 여러 가지 감각적인 자극에 대해 직관적이고 반사적으로 발생하는 반응이다. 감성에는 희로애락과 같은 다양한 감정이 포함된다. 감성은 개인과 환경의 영향을 받는 동시에 사회$\cdot$문화적인 영향에 의해 달라지는 종합적이고 복합적인 느낌이기 때문에 명확하게 표현하기 어렵다. 개인적인 차이는 있지만 인간의 감정은 다양한 행동이나 신체적 혹은 생리적인 반응으로 표출되기 때문에 이러한 다양한 반응을 이용해서 인간의 감정을 유추할 수 있다. 행동이나 신체적인 표현은 개인과 환경, 사회$\cdot$문화적인 영향에 따라 다양하게 나타나기 때문에 이를 정량화하기에는 힘든 부분이 있다. 반면 감정 상태에 따른 생리적인 반응은 여러 사람들에게서 공통적인 부분을 찾을 수가 있다. 본 논문에서는 감정에 따라 다양하게 나타나는 인간의 생리적인 반응 정토를 측정하고 이들의 공통점에 따라 생리적 반응을 통해 인간의 감정에 유추할 수 있는 공학적 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 깊이영상에서 상반신 포즈 분석을 위하여 원통좌표시스템을 제안한다. 깊이영상에서 포즈 후보 영역을 설정하고, 포즈 후보 영역을 이용하여 카메라로부터 신체 중심점까지의 거리와 신체 특징에 따라 원통좌표계를 설정한다. 그리고 밝기값으로 표현되는 깊이 정보를 이용하여 특징벡터를 추출한다. 추출된 원통좌표계의 특징벡터는 원형의 특징공간에 표현되고 포즈 패턴으로 분류된다. 그리고 포즈 패턴들은 특징벡터들의 평균값을 이용하여 학습되고 미리 정의된 포즈 패턴들과 유클리디언 거리로 비교하여 포즈로 분류된다. 본 논문은 상반신 포즈 후보 영역에 동적인 원통 모델을 적용하여 간단한 연산을 통해 머리와 몸통, 팔을 구분할 수 있도록 효과적인 포즈 정보 추출에 목적을 두고 있다.

문제: 병원에서는 잘못 사용하는 신체 관련 언어, 문법적으로 틀린 말, 비속어, 지나친 겸양어, 잘못 사용하는 존칭어, 격에 안 맞는 준말 등으로 내부 및 외부 고객과의 의사전달이 정확하지 않은 경우가 흔히 있다. 병원 직원의 부적절한 언어 사용은 외부 고객 유치 및 유지를 방해하며, 병원의 이미지 실추와도 관련이 있다. 목적: 바른 언어 표현법 매뉴얼과 동영상 구축 및 활용으로 내부 및 외부 고객의 만족도를 향상시키고자 한다. 의료기관: 서울시 종로구에 소재한 대학병원 질 향상 활동: 바른 언어 표현법 매뉴얼 구축 후 동영상을 완성하여 병원의 모든 직원들이 학습하여 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 개선효과: 바른 언어 표현법을 잘 학습하면 바른 언어를 사용하는 습관을 가지게 되어 의사전달이 명확해지고 표현이 풍부해지며 상호간 이해하는 폭이 넓어져 내부 고객 및 외부 고객의 만족도가 향상될 것이다. 또한 병원직원 전체 언어생활의 품격이 높아질 뿐만 아니라 병원의 위상도 높아질 것이다.
